Zu An had no spare energy to reply to Emperor Jun. He rushed to Xingtian’s side with the Goddess of Wu Mountain in his arms to see if he could save Xingtian.
To his surprise, Xingtian’s headless body suddenly brandished his axe and shield as he roared, “I have not been defeated yet! Let’s continue the battle!” Shockwaves rippled from his weapons. Having his head lopped off made him so furious that his attacks were filled with murderous intent. It was impossible to approach him like that.
Zu An had no choice but to back away along with the Goddess of Wu Mountain.
“How can he still speak?” The Goddess of Wu Mountain gasped in astonishment.
Zu An pointed to Xingtian’s belly button. “His voice seems to be coming from there.”
He had naturally heard the story about the headless Xingtian brandishing his axe and shield, but he could never have imagined that Xingtian’s head would be lopped off while saving him. His blood raced at that thought.
The Goddess of Wu Mountain took a closer look. Xingtian’s belly button was indeed opening and closing like a mouth. “Let’s find his head. He might be able to put himself back together.”
Stitching one’s head back onto their body wasn't difficult for cultivators of their caliber.
Zu An nodded in agreement. He flashed toward Xingtian’s falling head. As he was about to grab the head, however, a ray of flames shot through it and reduced it to ashes.
Zu An and the Goddess of Wu Mountain were shocked and infuriated. They looked back at the culprit.
Emperor Jun looked back at them with cold eyes. “Am I invisible to you?”
Xingtian howled chillingly. He clutched the severed stump of his neck as if his head were still there. Despite his head already being separated from his body, having it reduced to ashes still inflicted unbearable pain upon him.
Two blood streams flowed down from his nipples. All of a sudden, they opened to reveal his new eyes. He glared at Emperor Jun with bloody tears in his eyes.
“Die!” Xingtian roared from his belly button as he brandished his axe at Emperor Jun. A huge gorge was left on the ground wherever his axe crossed.
Emperor Jun morphed into a golden light to dodge the attacks.
However, light could be seen distorting in the wake of Xingtian’s attacks, indicating that they were strong enough to distort even space. That made Emperor Jun’s expression darken. He hadn’t expected Xingtian to become even stronger after having his head destroyed.
Hmph, the Shaman races’ berserk bloodline is abominable!
The headless Xingtian leaped over to Emperor Jun’s side and unleashed dozens of cuts.
Emperor Jun parried the attacks with his hand, but the attacks were so relentless that he began to lose his patience. “You’re courting death!”
Flames suddenly surged around Emperor Jun and rushed at Xingtian.
Just then, however, a powerful wave gushed over and stopped the flames.
Emperor Jun was startled. He raised his head to look at Gonggong. Isn’t he fighting Donghuang Taiyi? How can he have the energy to interfere with my fight? Did something happen to Taiyi?
But Gonggong and Donghuang Taiyi were still clashing intensely with each other.
Gonggong noticed the situation as well and was surprised. “That lad can control water?”
Indeed, Zu An had used the Hundredwarble and Crown of the Ocean Deity’s abilities to borrow Gonggong’s water and extinguish Emperor Jun’s flames.
Donghuang Taiyi shouted out a warning.

Emperor Jun gritted his teeth. He was about to charge at Zu An when the headless Xingtian roared and charged at him once more. His expression turned cold as he directed his sword ki toward Xingtian.
Xingtian raised his shield to protect himself while brandishing his axe to cut down the golden sword feathers. It didn’t take long before he was bleeding profusely, but that further invoked his bloodline power, causing his attacks to become more ferocious, like a war god.
Worried that Xingtian could slip up, Zu An quickly attacked Emperor Jun to share Xingtian’s burden.

He could have easily defeated either of them individually. Xingtian was strong, but he specialized in physical confrontations. Any skills hurled at him would have put him in a fluster. The Kaiming Six Shamans wanted to save her, but they were too far away to make it in time.
Zu An was horrified. He performed an instantaneous movement to get to the Goddess of Wu Mountain’s side, but there was no time for him to escape with her. He could only embrace her and take on the attack with his back.

The sun slowly morphed into a beautiful woman. “His life is mine. I shall end him personally!”
