I thought she would make a protest when I said she'll be moving in with me. She's probably didn't think much about it else she would have made a protest so why's my heart beating fast? Threatening to break out of my ribcage.
I watched in silence as she loosened a knot from the bracelet. It remains five more knots. The research says she loses a knot every time she accomplishes her wish.
"we're making your last days very incredible and memorable" I said quietly
Gosh, is this girl really going to die?? Someone I just met and wish to know more about. Why's the universe cruel to me? If it was going to take her way then why did it bring her to me??!
" Yeah I know and I'm already working on that" she replied in a bored tone
"Damn it Gianna, you aren't doing any of those crazy wishes. I won't allow you"
"Who are you to stop me?" I saw anger flash through her eyes. It's better to ignore the question.
"From my knowledge" I continued like she hadn't said anything " you have five wishes left which is to jump off a cliff, buy an entire concert, build an animal shelter, say yes to everything for a day and get hit by a truck."
"I've jumped off a cliff" she replied coolly.
WTH!! I was surprised. When did she jump a cliff that my boys couldn't make a record of it. I masked my surprise " I wouldn't let you get hit by a truck or say yes to everything for a day"
She laughed dryly like I was making some funny joke
"I'm fvcking serious"
"And how will you make sure off that?" She taunted.
"That's why you're moving in with me and working for me. I'm not going to let you out of my sight"
"I'm a very determined soul"
"Me too then we'll make your remaining days memorable by going shopping, play pranks perhaps, watch movies, have dinner night and so on." The words 'remaining days' tasted like bile as it came from my mouth.
"Boring, go do that with your girlfriend. I'm okay on my own" she replied
"Exactly my thought girlfriend. You're aren't doing those crazy things under my watch"
"Who said I was going to do it under your watch" she retorted back and closed her eyes, a smile on her face as she mumbled incoherent words.
The doctor came in at that time, saving me stress of arguing with her.
" She can go home and she needs to lie in bed." He said
"Noted" I nod at the doctor

I looked around the house in awe, congratulating myself again on a job weldone. Thank God I didn't say no to move in with him, I would have missed out meeting with this beautiful house.
There's a built in swimming pool, umbrella and chairs like in beaches.
Apart from the fact that my hotel rent will expire soon which is the major reason I jumped at his offer discreetly, I get to enjoy full home service here.
We both entered the living room, everywhere was tiled. He had the biggest television I've ever seen. His living room is just so perfect.
His maids and servants all came out and lined up in front of him. There were about twenty of them.
"You all should go home. I'm giving you a month holiday and don't worry about your pay, I'll send it to you"
Huh why did he send them all away??
"Alright boss" they answered in unison
"I'll be the one taking care of you personally" he turned to me, answering my unasked question.
"Awwwn so romantic" I cooed and batted my eyelashes at him
He threw a towel on my face "climb the first stairs, the second room on your right is your. Go get some rest"
"My things......" I wanted to say but he interrupted me.
"You always seem to forget I'm Wesley Steves" he replied and walked out on me.
I pouted and followed his instructions to my new room.
In the evening,
I walked downstairs, feeling refreshed, with the mindset to make dinner.
I entered the kitchen and couldn't help but gasp out. There were candles everywhere, flowers and sitting on the table on the champagne stand is a champagne and two glass cups.
"Wow, it's beautiful" I breathed out
"You're just in time. Food is ready" he answered and set the table.
I sat gingerly on the chair, afraid to ruin anything.
After setting the table, he removed his apron and sat.
He opened the champagne and poured little in my cup which is the exact opposite of what's in his.
I raised a questioning brow at him. "You have a heart condition" he waved me off and served my food.
Who would ever believe the president's son will serve my food one day?
"Why does the atmosphere seem romantic?" I asked then put a forkful of spaghetti in my mouth.
The taste was blissful, who knew Wesley is a chef?? It's a pity I can't love you, I like Matt. Ummm... do I? Yh I think so.
"We are making the few days memorable for you" he replied
"Oh yes" I agreed "we are living out your wish."
"You're starting work tomorrow so prepare and don't worry about my cloth"
"Then what's my job?" I queried
"Just sitting down with me"
"Easy, simple" I answered " I need water"
"There's one in front of you"
"It's a little too cold for me" I pursed my lips.
He stood up and got water from the fridge. I took a sip and dropped the bottle.
"Seems I saw an apple in the fridge, can I get one"
He eyed the apple sitting in the fruit plate in front of me.
"I need a cold one" I gave him a cheeky smile.
He shook his head and stood up to get me one.
"Yeah, while you're at it, I want to eat banana and a drink a pineapple juice then I want a pure orange drink and...."
"Keep shut Gianna" he flared up, glaring at me.
"Didn't you say you want to take care of me personally?" I gave him an innocent smile
