Standing there in the prison, Chiyu shot them a cold look.

He had no intention of settling for killing a few scapegoats.
A biting wind stung his face like a blade. He deactivated his Sharingan for now, forcing down the pain and fatigue and striding inexorably toward the Anbu headquarters.
Meanwhile, Uchiha Yakumi and the rest—those who served under Chiyu as well as his own men—had joined forces and followed from behind. When they saw Chiyu charge into the Anbu prison, Yakumi feared it was all going south, but he didn't dare rush in after him. The situation was already catastrophic enough. At least if only Chiyu went in alone, it could be framed as his individual action. After all, he'd been suspended and wasn't technically a Police Force member anymore.
But if Yakumi led a squad in there to assist him, the nature of things would be entirely different—something tantamount to all-out war. Not wanting that, the sensible Yakumi chose to wait outside, anxiously awaiting the outcome. He'd sent someone to alert Yashiro-sama, hoping for a resolution.
Every second felt like a year to Yakumi.
At last, he watched Chiyu emerge from the prison, drenched in blood, like a demon risen from the depths of Hell. Yakumi's heart pounded—he realized that Konoha was about to be turned upside down. Worse yet, seeing Chiyu sprint off toward Anbu HQ left no doubt about his intentions.
Yakumi couldn't just stand by. Gritting his teeth, he made a snap decision:
"You lot—run and inform Yashiro-sama what's happening, at once!
"The rest of you, come with me. We have to stop Chiyu!"
Over on Yashiro's side, upon hearing about Chiyu's actions, he nearly passed out on the spot.
He squeezed his eyes shut, finding it impossible to believe.
"I counted on Yakumi's stability, but now even he…?"
One of Yakumi's subordinates answered tensely, "Yashiro-sama, Chiyu-dono looked terrifying. Perhaps Yakumi-taichō couldn't stop him from digging into the truth. And… you know how he is…"
Yashiro could only sigh. "This is heading for disaster… The Patriarch is absent…"
Behind him, Uchiha Tekkā said in a low voice, "He… went to see Lord Hokage."
Yashiro massaged his temples. "Hmph…At a time , he's still—?"
But the bad news wasn't over yet. Another one of Yakumi's men rushed in, panting heavily:
"Yashiro-sama, it—it's bad…
"Chiyu-dono stormed right into the Anbu prison! We didn't dare go in. Not long after, he came out covered in blood—we've no idea what happened. And… And now he's heading straight for the Anbu main base!"
Yashiro's face went white as a sheet.
With the Patriarch detained, Shisui's loyalties uncertain, and the man Fugaku had placed so much hope in—Chiyu—like a ticking time bomb about to explode, Yashiro alone was left to handle the fallout.
