First of all, her tail was incredibly fluffy.

Pandel, already exhausted, leaned against the tree and fell asleep almost instantly, occasionally groaning as if he were having a nightmare.

Since the border patrol had cleared out the Misty Forest, they had left behind surplus supplies, and Valian had given me some jerky and biscuits—not high quality, but better than nothing.

She seemed distracted, her mind elsewhere, probably overwhelmed with thoughts as we neared her hometown.
Unlike me, who could return home in a single day if I wanted, Bella had spent years working in a distant land. Now she was returning, not in triumph, but because her workplace had shut down, forcing her back.

She hesitated, rolling a biscuit between her fingers before speaking carefully.

Occasionally, elderly villagers would say I looked dependable, but that was just the usual compliment given to any young man who grew a little taller.
"You’re younger than me, yet you’re already a full-fledged knight, escorting people, always confident in your actions. I admire that."
"Something on your mind?"
"Hmm... Bella’s just a mess of worries right now. Even if I go back home, I have no idea how I’ll make a living. And at my age, relying on my parents would be embarrassing. They already have more than ten kids to take care of—I can’t burden them too."

Bella sighed as she pulled on her arm, lamenting. "Working nights and sleeping during the day every day... I ended up gaining weight. Now even my arms are chubby, and since I haven’t been running, my ass got bigger too..."
Watching her complain, I couldn’t understand why she was so upset. Honestly, a little bit of softness made her body even more enticing.
