“I love Valerie.” Ronald didn’t realize how he let his inner feelings out and confessed. When a minute later realization hit him, he bites his tongue but got shocked to see his brother was laughing and clapping each other’s hands.
“What was that?”
“It’s a trap to make idiots like you confess their true love, otherwise you wouldn’t have made it till eternity,” Stefan said with a devilish smirk.
Ronald was still looking at Stefan like an idiot. “What does that mean, what I couldn’t make it?”
“You love Valerie in your heart for long and we all know that,” Jack said.
Obviously, it was another shock for Ronald, when he didn’t realize it before how would his brothers knew about his feelings. “How do you all know that beforehand?”
“It was all written on your face, only you were oblivious to your own feelings. Got it, you idiot?”
Stefan smacks his head, and Ronald grinned his teeth. Then Ronald again thought something and opened his mouth to ask Stefan, but he cut him off.
“Now stop asking foolish questions go and propose Valerie.”
Ronald made a childish pout when Stefan called him a fool, but answered nothing and started mulling over something deeply.
“Now, what is wrong with you?” Jack asked.
“I am not sure about her feelings for me. If she will reject my proposal, then I will lose my friendship, too.”
Stefan felt either beat over his head or slap Ronald. “Jack, I can’t believe he is our brother.”
“I am also confused. Which breed he is?” Jack said.
“You two stop slandering me and answer my question.” Ronald was getting irritable because they both are pulling his legs for since long.
Stefan sighed and said, “Ronald, she will definitely accept your proposal because she also loves you. And now please ask no more questions like, what, how, when. Just get up and plan a good proposal to impress Valerie.”
“Don’t worry, I have already planned a proposal for her, but you two have to help me,” Ronald said with confidence and Stefan and Jack made an impressed face.
“Too fast? Significant development, I am impressed. Tell me how can we help you.”
Even Though Stefan was still teasing him, he can do anything for Ronald. Then Ronald explained to them his plan.
“Alright, I will execute my plan, today itself.”
“Great, now move fast to your lazy bum and make Valerie your girlfriend as fast as you can.” Stefan again teased him.
In the evening, Stella and Valerie were helping Sarah to get ready for the party in Sarah’s room.
“Sarah, you are the center attraction of the party, you must look the best today.”
Stella was constantly talking about one or another thing, but Sarah couldn’t answer much as they were doing her makeup, and Valerie was all lost in her own thoughts. Her heart was complicated with the thoughts that whether Ronald also loves her as she does, but his actions say he is caring towards her. Care doesn’t mean love and so on…..
“Valerie, give me that hair clip from your side.” Stella was tying Sarah’s hair bun and asked Valerie for a hair clip but she lost in her thoughts,a heard nothing.
“Valerie, Valerie,” Stella called her a few times louder and louder, zooming her out of her thoughts.
“Stella, were you saying something?”
Stella and Sarah looked at each other and release a sigh of relief. They knew Valerie is upset and they also know the reason, still Sarah asked innocently, “Valerie, are you fine? Any problem?”
“Nothing; I am just feeling uneasy.” Valerie doesn’t know what to answer them, just made a fake excuse.
“Hmm, Valerie, I think you are not well. Take rest for some time, I will give you a call before the party will start.” Stella suggested.
“No, Stella, it’s alright, I don’t want to rest.”
“Valerie, you are looking pale, I guess you need some fresh air. Go on the terrace and walk you will feel better.” Sarah said.
At first Valerie was reluctant, but Sarah and Stella forced her, and at last, they both literally pushed Valerie out of the room and giggled. Then Sarah messages something to Ronald.
“What’s wrong with both of them, why they are so adamant to send me out. Hmm, whatever they are correct, I should go to the terrace and relax. Perhaps in fresh I can think peacefully being some time alone.”
Valerie mumbles to herself and climbed the stairs which lead her towards the terrace. She was awestruck as soon as she opened the door to the terrace. It was decorated so beautifully. She has a heavenly feeling, and she lost in it.
“Wow, so beautiful, what is all this and who did that?” Valerie said to herself and adores the beautiful view.
“Did you like it?”
Valerie heard a voice but didn’t pay heed to who it was because she was so lost in it that don’t want to think anything else.
“Yes, I love it. This is just perfect, as I like it.” Valerie said in a daze. She can guess by the decoration that it is planned for someone’s proposal date but obviously doesn’t know who.
Valerie’s heart was pondering seeing the entire terrace was decorated with red roses, glass strings and red rose petals were laying on the floor like a rose carpet. At the center of the rose carpet, there was a big heart was drawn with white rose petals.
Obviously, it was giving a special feeling to Valerie. She wished in her heart that someone will propose to her like this. Alas, it can’t happen.
‘I love Ronald, now I can’t accept any other person’s proposal. Even he will not propose to me grandly and just that he has the same feeling for me as mine. I will be happy.’
“I know you would love it, that’s why I did everything just for you.” Valerie heard the same voice, but again didn’t pay heed.
“Thank you so much.”
“Oh, you are too polite……” Valerie, after thanking the voice, realized the amiss, she was pulled back to her senses and shocked who did this for her.
“Who is this?”
“Guess who am I?”
After listening to the voice again, she didn’t take even a second to recognize that it was Ronald who was talking to her.
“Ronald, is that you, where are you?” Valerie looks back and forth to search for Ronald.
“I am here,” Valerie heard the voice from behind, turned around, and was surprised to see Ronald on his knees. Now she got everything.
‘The beautiful decorations for a proposal date, Ronald’s loving voice and now he is on his knees, in front of me, all this impact only one thing. Oh my god, oh my god, is he going to propose to me?’
Valerie was excited about this, there were many more thoughts like how could it be, wasn’t he going to get married to Linda? She finally eliminated all her thoughts and looked at Ronald on his knees.
