Rohit's POV
She was working so hard. She was explaining everything very nicely to all the workers. She seemed to be very patient with them and they all were enjoying working with her a lot because she was teaching them a new technique with great patience.
They all worked very hard for more than a week and made almost 500 new pieces. Tying and dying were done. The clothes dried completely and now it was time to untie them.
She started teaching them by doing one of them. She was looking so pretty doing her work with so much concentration. My eyes refused to get away from her face. She clipped the threads and untied them. When she spread the cloth, everyone was mesmerized by the effect.
" Wow!!! Amazing... You are very talented. " I said and smiled at her. She smiled back and said thanks, sir.
" Sia Ji this is awesome..... I hope all the designs come out well. " Sumit said.
" Thanks, Sumit Ji...They will " she smiled and said confidently.
The workers started following her and in almost an hour all the beautiful pieces were ready. They all were awesome.
" All we need is to finish them with shells, mirrors, and beads. "
" Amazing..... Good work... All of you can go take these pieces with you and submit them in the storeroom. Sumit gets them finished with whatever Sia suggests. " I said to Sumit and he nodded.
" Sure sir, I will tell Yash to get the requirements from her and get everything we want."
" Let him do his work... She will send the requirements by mail. Tell him to get them. " I got annoyed and said Sumit nodded and went away along with all the workers.
" I need to see them myself. We should explore new things. I will get them from the market... Yash can come if he wants. " She said and I got irritated that she wanted to go with him.
" It doesn't matter what he wants..... He has to follow what I want. " I said in a bit of a harsh tone. She flinched a bit.
" Of course sir... " She said looking downwards.
I didn't want to be rude... But I didn't like her calling him by name... What did she feel about him??
" Come we can go and get whatever you want... " I said.
" No sir thanks a lot... I am quite capable of going to the market on my own. It's my job... I will do it... You are the boss, you don't need to go out with some employees. " She said.
" What is your problem?? Why do you always behave like this?? " I was losing my mind. I went very close to her.
" Like what sir?? " she looked a bit alarmed and took a few steps back.
" Rudely..... As if you are irritated with me..... What have I done to you? " I took another step towards her. She was getting a bit tense now.
" No... Nothing sir... I.... " She stepped back.
" Stop calling me sir...... I am getting irritated now... " I went even closer.
" Ok, Mr. Kapoor. " She tried again.
" Oh for God's sake..... Can't you behave normally? " I caged her between me and the wall.
" But this is normal sir.. " she was looking into my eyes.
" Oh please....We are friends... "
" We are not sir... I am friends with Priya... Not you. "
" She is just like my sister. She is my family... Please behave normally ... Ok? " I put my hands on her upper arm and shook her lightly.
" But that day you said... " she was serious.
" That was a joke, Sia..... Please stop it. " I said looking into her eyes and she nodded.
" How do you want me to behave? "
" For the start, you can call me Rohit... And smile as friends do while working together. What happened to the girl who slapped me so hard in the first meeting? " I said and a shy and mischievous smile came on her beautiful and plump lips.
" You want me to slap you, every time we meet? " She smiled.
" Try... It will be better than this boring Sia ... " I muttered under my breath.
" Did you say something sir? " she asked though I am sure she heard that.
" Oh no, nothing.. Let's go to the market now...... " I said and she got up. Thank God she was behaving normally.
We again went shopping with her. I loved being with her. I just wanted her near me all the time... Thank God Priya was not here... Or she and Bhai would have teased me. But I was missing them. I would ask Priya to help me in winning her friend's heart.
She was looking at all the available options and I was looking at her. I tried to concentrate on other things but just could not help gazing at her. She selected the designs and asked for my opinion.
What could I say, I had not seen anything.
So I said, " I don't know much about these things... Whatever you think is good would be fine with me. "
" Then I think, These designs will do. " She said, smiling at me.
Anything will do... if you keep smiling like this, my feisty warrior...
We ordered the selected ones in large quantities. They said it will take around 20-25 mins to get everything.
" Let's go and have something, I am starving. " I caught her hand and pulled her to one of the food cafes nearby.
" But... I am not hungry. " She said while I headed towards a table there.
" But I am... And I can't eat alone so you will eat with me..."
I ordered one cold coffee with ice cream, one latte, and grilled cheese sandwiches.
" So tell me something about yourself," I asked
" Like what? "
" Anything... Family? "
" Family? Why? "
" Just like that..... You know everyone in mine. "
" Oh... Ok..... We have just four people in my family. My parents and my elder brother and I. My father, Mr. Mohinder Khanna is a businessman, and my brother, Sujoy works with him. They have multiple chain stores that deal in electronics. My mom, Rekha, is a very sweet lady. " she said and I nodded.
" My family is very sweet and they believe that one should be self-independent. My brother told me yesterday that he and Rahul Ji have a few common friends. " She smiled at that.
" Oh! Small world..... That's great.. "
Our order was served to us. She took the cold coffee hesitantly.
But once she took a sip of that she moaned. I got a bit uncomfortable at that small sound.
" I swear... It is awesome..... I am not hungry but I have fallen in love with coffee. " she said with her child-like excitement. I choked on my coffee.
She is in love with coffee.....Somehow I felt a pang of jealousy towards that very tempting glass of cold coffee......
" Ummmmm I am seriously loving every sip of this... You should also try... " She said after she moaned again and licked the ice cream from her lips.
I wanted to try kissing and licking her soft and plump lips.
" Yeah... I will someday... " I said but my voice seemed huskier to me. I cleared my throat.
I will definitely kiss her one day... Though She will kill me that day...
" Why someday?? Try it now... "
Oh... God... Tell her to shut up, please.
" I am having hot coffee..... Can't have cold coffee on top of it. "
" Oh... Ok.. " she said and kept enjoying her coffee with her eyes closed and producing that small sound making me very uncomfortable.
I was looking at her with my eyes and jaw wide open...
" Why... Don't... You.. try the sandwiches? " I asked to make her say something and stop moaning like that.
" I am not hungry... You ordered them, now have them. I am loving it. " she said with a smile.
" How can you love coffee? "
Love me instead...
" I can .... Are you not hungry anymore? You don't want this sandwich?"
I want you...
" I don't know... What I want.." I muttered.
" Eat them.. you said you were very hungry. "
I ate them... They were very good too.
" These are good too. Try them." I said and she picked up one of the sandwiches and bit into it. "
" Mmmm this is also very good." She was lost in her world and I was lost in her.
