Isekai Dungeon Architect Chapter 64

Vice Gillian Bluehorn was an elf of attractive looks. He was also an adult elf who had lived for over 600 years in this world, seen things that most humans will only remember as history, and done things that humans of short lifespan would never come to know. He was from a pureblood family, a rare rebel who left the elvan kingdom in the great forest and wandered the world for centuries. "I have lived a long life, I have travelled to all three continents, I have met all kinds of people, so I have a good sense of humans," He poured a few colorful liquids alongside a fresh cup of milk in his metallic shaker and started shaking it like the professional mixologist that he was. He had been telling me his story for a while now, and I could tell there was some kind of hesitation… but I didn't really feel any discomfort in him. He wasn't really bothered by me, but he was actually avoiding me for a simple reason. "I've been with enough women in my life, and… women like you are always trouble. Always." He stopped shaking and poured a pretty-looking golden, milky fluid into a margarita glass. He decorated the drink with a flower petal that spread a strange silver glitter on the surface of the golden fluid, as well as a blue fruit that resembled a cherry but wasn't really soft like one. The presentation was 9/10, and there was a unique reference to this thing. I don't know what kind of milk he used, but whatever he used had made the overall consistency pretty similar to an actual margarita. If anything, this thing looked extremely appetising. "Pretty ladies like you who know what you want, who have strength, wealth, talents, and skills… It's always trouble with the likes of you." Tʜe source of this ᴄontent ɪs novel-fire.ɴet As he presented the glass to me, he sat down before me and stared at me with his deep, pretty red eyes. For an elf, those red eyes and long silver hair, that hard, lean, and well-built, scar-ridden body that he wasn't even trying hard to hide, and that pretty face any woman would want to bite all night long… did not justify the melodious voice that he possessed. "I was once stuck in a mercenary party with a crazy, hot, skilled lady like you. She dragged us through all kinds of dangers just because she wanted to have fun. A duchess fell in love with me a long time ago, a pretty, attractive, dominating, someone who had achieved the level of a Mage Master. It was fun while it lasted, but she had me in the palm of her hand until the day she died. Humans are still fine; they die in a few decades. But then there was a witch I met… practically immortal beings, possessing powers beyond anyone's comprehension, she was a trouble I only got rid of after she found someone else to obsess over. And this is just the time I got too deep in trouble I couldn't get out of… women like you are always trouble. I'm… too tired to deal with troublesome disasters like you lot." I didn't expect this guy to be so talkative after he tried so hard to avoid me all this time. He was also pretty honest with everything he was saying, as if there was no lie filter on those juicy lips. "The moment you entered this inn, I knew you were one of them… you just had that aura." He shook his head as if he was now carrying the burden of the entire world on his shoulders. But it just made my smile wider, "So you're saying you had your eyes on me ever since I came here? You played quite the game for a predator that just-." "See? That right there… You know you're attractive, you know you can win me over, you know just the right things to say to someone who has revealed even a fraction of their life to you. You're a dream countless men chase, a fire countless so-called romantics would burn themselves just to feel for a moment." He watched as I took a sip of his delicate presentation with a smirk on my face, his eyes not locked on the glass but on me instead. "I don't know pretty much anything about you, but just from what I've seen until now, I know one thing for sure: you may not be very strong right now, but you are a unique existence." The milk was impeccable, one of the best things I've had since I came to this world. And his words weren't wrong either, so I didn't deny them. As an elf who had lived for so long, it just made sense that he had met people who you can call a 'unique' existence in this world. "This ability to speak elvish in such a perfect tongue… it must be some high-level, unique skill or a title effect… and all the rumors about your abilities, the crazy growth rate, even this adorable eyeball you have now, all this just shows the strange powers you possess. There's no doubt you'll go on to become someone far more important than any human here could fathom. And that will just become more troublesome for me." He had not only caught onto my special language ability, but he most certainly knew more than the common people around me. "Six hundred years, was it…?" Knowing all these things about him and talking with him had only increased my interest in him. And he knew that as well. "Around that much. We elves don't really count our age in numbers. Anyway…" The look I had in my eyes right now, I could tell he had seen that look a few times in the long life he had lived. "I'm going to be in trouble." "That you are, mister…" He knew I was interested in him, and by nature, he couldn't help being attracted to me. He knew I was trouble, he knew my kind of women were all trouble, and yet if he had spent all these years being with them, then the problem was with him. 'He's the kind we like the most as well.' He knows. He's simply too aware, too refined, too perfect to give up on. The reason he was avoiding me must be because he was trying to feel me out from afar before he could confirm whether I was a lamp containing a contained fire that he could handle, or a wildfire that'd burn him again. "I've been through some… serious trouble recently, Aria." He wanted to experience the fun and joy of being with someone like me once again, and he was honest with his words. But, I could see the darkness in his eyes as well… "You can have peace, of course." Cutting him off as he was speaking, I placed a finger on his pretty lips. Then, slowly turning the glass that was almost empty, I pressed the same part with my lip marks still visible on them on his. "I won't bother you… unless you want me to, of course." He was much better than I had expected. Talking with him just made me realise how wrong it was to let him slip away all this time. But then again, "We can have simple fun till then." Having someone like him would just make things far more fun around here.
