Yusuf Zuck was actually a good person at heart, but some of his actions made him seem like a bad one.
When it came to matters of the heart, Yusuf Zuck really didn’t want to get too entangled and he abided by certain principles. Apart from the mistake with Miles O’Brien, he hadn’t fundamentally wronged any woman.

"What do you mean by taking advantage?" Yusuf Zuck asked, winking mischievously.
"Never mind, never mind, you know what you’re doing better than anyone. But I’m not afraid of you, because you’re not that kind of person!" Ember Vance filled both her and Yusuf Zuck’s cups, then lifted hers and said, "Yusuf Zuck, I want to say... I want to say, I’ve missed you these past few days." As she spoke, her face turned red. They had touched, kissed, and hugged each other; although neither of them had said the three words "I love you," they had done the kissing and hugging. Does that mean they were in love? Were they boyfriend and girlfriend?
So, even though saying "I’ve missed you" was quite embarrassing, she still said it. After all, there was no one else around, and no one else to laugh at her.
Yusuf Zuck felt a stir in his heart, and stood up to take the drink out of her hand, saying sternly, "Don’t drink anymore. You’re a girl, you should stick to soft drinks."
"Oh come on, what’s the fun in you drinking alone? I’m keeping you company..." Ember Vance tried to snatch the liquor back!
"Not listening, huh? You believe I’ll..." Yusuf Zuck glared at her, his look suggesting that if she didn’t behave, he’d resort to his favorite tactic.
"Touch if you want, it’s not like you haven’t before..." Ember Vance pouted but ultimately didn’t take back her drink. She was relatively obedient.
"What’s wrong with you today; did something happen?" Yusuf Zuck laughed and scolded, implying that she was being unusually forthcoming that day.
"I watched a Japanese action movie." Ember Vance stuck out her tongue.
"What? Pfft—" Yusuf Zuck had just taken a sip of his drink, then sprayed it out.
"Where did you watch it? Have you lost your mind?" Yusuf Zuck stared in disbelief.
"I didn’t watch on purpose. I caught a blackmail case; it was a woman who was being blackmailed by a young man. They had a video, and it was role-playing, even playing the police. I sneaked a peek... I watched it secretly in the office." Ember Vance’s face was flushed.
"You can’t watch that again; you mustn’t learn bad things." Yusuf Zuck said with a mix of laughter and consternation.

Yusuf Zuck was indeed hungry, so he heartily ate while sipping on his drink. Ember Vance, however, ate less and spent most of the time serving him food.
"Was someone in Las Vegas messing with you?" After reaching half full, Ember Vance brought up the news circulating online, aware that it was Yusuf Zuck’s doing.
And Yusuf Zuck hadn’t planned to hide it from her; after all, he had even killed four people in front of her, so the two shared some secrets.
"I met a female translator there, a fellow Chinese. Originally, she was to finish translating for me and then return to our country together, but there was a betrayal at the casino. "Stop it, I don’t want to hear it! I’ll pull out my gun if you keep talking!" Ember Vance covered her ears and shook her head while fiercely glaring at Yusuf Zuck.
Ignoring her, Yusuf Zuck continued, "She... "
"Whoosh—" The girl indeed had a gun with her at dinner, and damn it, she actually pulled it out! She didn’t unlock the safety, but she did aim it at Yusuf Zuck’s head!
Yusuf Zuck felt a surge of annoyance. This girl still hadn’t lost that habit!
"She is her, I am I. From now on, you are mine, not hers. Hands up, take off your clothes!"
"What the hell?" Yusuf Zuck’s scalp tingled. This girl was not right today. Dressed in uniform, gun in hand, what was she up to?
