The Reans had shown their dedication towards work.
They worked nonstop… gathering the material, finding
help where it was necessary, consulting with the Aatians
for using the alternate source of energy that was the gas
that they were talking about!
Aatians volunteered for some work in exchange for the
techno skills in communication.
Zo was only too happy to train them and he asked them for
the orb’s technology but instead of teaching them they
donated around ten orbs. The best thing that could have
happened to the Reans... five to six of them could travel at
a time.
Richard was given one and it was very easier to learn to
fly it as it was almost similar to the four wheel drives! He
often rode the orbs and it was actually the best gift anyone
would have given him. The only problem was that he had
to send a message to get it filled with the fuel! Even
though large reserve was kept in the campsite!
Richard wanted to change the orb’s fuel from the gas to
particle power as he saw how efficient their spacecraft
was… But Zo was not for it as he thought the particle
power should not be used in the smaller vehicles because
even small accidents might cause big damage!
Richard was thinKing about all these while he was flying
from the campsite to the city site!
He saw many Aatians worKing on constructing roads
using some material which looked like tar!
The houses were pre- fabricated in the campsite and were
set in the site in a circular pattern leaving the center site
for the palace.
All the houses were similar and he had asked them to
construct it to seven feet tall… Even then the houses
looked small!
As he had promised, he was constructing one house for
Fe… It was made of purely wooden logs unlike the other
houses and bigger than the others. He had used all his
imagination in building the house and everyone could see
that it was going to be the most beautiful house. Re liked
the idea of using logs and limestone and sand mix!
Ro and Zo agreed that the palace could be built with logs
but Fe was adamant as she explained that logs were not
safe all the time and enemies could find the weakness in it.
But all the others did not agree with her.. But she stuck to
her view and got her own way.
It was such a great team work! The hard work of bringing
the material to the site was taken by the trees and overseen
by Ro so everything went on exactly as planned. The
city was shaping up according to the plan of rosette
pattern. The roads starting from the centre up to the two
different exits that led to the pass, were in circular
formation and the houses were on either side of the road
leaving a very large space between the houses for the
garden. The number of houses were nearly hundred and
they needed perhaps thirty plus only even if they have to
stay alone in one house!
Few of Aatians wanted to stay on land and Cynig was too
happy to give permission and he wanted one big house
allotted for him in the city.
Richard was happy to see the cooperation developing
among all the beings!
As the days passed on, he could feel the temperature
coming down and he was wondering if it would be
freezing cold! But the Aatians assured him that it would
get extremely cold but the water wouldn’t freeze as the
city was in the centre location in Arda. Most of the aquatic
beings were found near this area because of the moderate
climate!
The work went on …the days and nights merged into one.
The palace construction had started and the Aatians had
taken charge completely and the respect they showed to Fe
was unbelievable. They did everything that the female
Rean asked and she bossed over them…
The palace was slowly coming up and the style was that of
the Aatian’s and the material used was according to Fe’s
suggestion so it was coming like a real castle with turrets.
The Aatians polished the outer wall with the metal they
found underwater. It reflected the golden light of the
Alpha to the extent that it hurt the eyes to see for a long
time.
Richard was in awe of the outer glow of the palace. If it
had to be there on Earth, this would be considered as an
architectural marvel!
The interior of the palace was slowly filled up with the
artefacts given by the Cynig as well as the queen…
Richard finished the work on the house that he had built
for Fe as a prize! It looked like a very modern house found
on Earth with the portico, the staircase, the first floor and
the balcony. He modelled it like Frank’s house and he
wished Frank could see all these!
Zo had set up his labs. The bio lab started functioning as
the lab technicians that Zo had handpicked and trained
were busy arranging the artificial womb that would allow
extracorporeal pregnancy by growing a fetus outside the
body of the organism!
The Reans had brought many embryos of their favourite
cattle and few other animals too.
The lab was shaping to be of high standard and security
was always tight around it. Since they guarded it with
invisible Reans…
Richard was highly impressed with Reans and the methods
they used to complete the task in a record time!
The trees had shown them the place where gold like metal
as well a metal that looked like glass were abundantly
available!
Both the Aatians and Reans were very excited to gather as
much as they could. The trees helped both equally but it
was evident that they liked to be with the Reans. The
flowering plants were everywhere as they helped in all
easy tasks and waited patiently to help. Everything went
on well and soon the city was almost ready.
When the Cynig visited the place , he was not able to
believe his eyes. The city was shining in the golden glow
as the outer wall of the buildings reflected the Alpha light!
The circular roads were paved with coloured tar mixed
with some reflectors. The whole set up made striKing
visuals!
Many trees decided to stay in the city itself and they added
to the beauty of the city.
Richard had gone back to his summit cave for the last time
before he could shift to his quarter in the palace.
He tried again to connect with Frank but he couldn’t get
him… he was mesmerised with the sight around him! The
sky was clear with the brighter stars, the florescent sea, the
misty land and the city of Rich with its floating lights
shining like beacon…He wished for someone to be there
to share this beauty…
The natives as well as Reans wanted to have a great
celebration to open the city of Rich. They had taken all the
furniture from the campsite but left the tents and the
spacecraft in the cave.
Re wanted to shift it without the presence of the native but
unfortunately there was no way of avoiding the plants.
Fe was so overwhelmed to see her house that was built by
King Richard and she gave it to the city as the guest house
as she preferred a house like others!
The Richard’s private quarter was made as Richard
wanted …It looked like Frank’s house and the he had
made up his room as exactly like that of the guest room
that he had stayed in their house!
He thought of Frank more and more as he wanted him to
know all the achievements that he had here. He had taken
few photographs in his cell phone as that was the only
thing functioning!
