Infinite Range: The Sniper Mage Chapter 671

"The Titans... a race soaked in tragedy." The towering figure of the Titan let out a sigh of nostalgia. Beneath him, Parlenzo stood frozen in horror—the mysterious Astrologer was, in truth, a living Titan. Orson’s eyes gleamed as the Astrologer willingly displayed his basic stats: Class: SS-rank Astrologer Title: Adventurer of the Titan World · Divine Weapon of the Gods · Starborne Wanderer Merit Rank: King Tier Orson and Sienna exchanged a glance, both struggling to contain the sheer shock that surged through them. This guy wasn’t some Infinite Dimensions NPC. He wasn’t even from Era of Immortals. Orson’s expression twisted in disbelief, though he quickly regained composure. Saryantos had once told him: Earth was nothing but a remote backwater in the Milky Way, far from the real stage where the gods waged war against the Heaven Demons. "Wait a second... the Titan World—is your entire planet full of giants like you?" Orson asked skeptically. Endless Rift replied, "Becoming a Titan God isn’t so simple. You must first reach Saint Lord-Class. Then, you must achieve 100% Weaponization." "Weaponization... one hundred percent?" Orson’s face turned serious. He instinctively moved in front of Sienna, preparing for battle. If Infinite Dimensions was the armory of the gods, then 100% Weaponization meant this Titan had been certified as a living weapon. A divine tool, forged and refined by the hands of gods. That meant he was an enemy. "Your caution is admirable," Endless Rift said calmly, shaking his head as he sat down cross-legged. His massive, mountainous frame made the ground tremble. "But I’m not your enemy. I came here following the footsteps of the Twelve Titan Gods." "The Twelve... what?" Orson frowned deeply. That name didn’t bring clarity—it only raised more questions. The Primordial Titans in Infinite Dimensions lore... were they aliens too? He’d always thought they were part of the game’s in-universe history—powerful ancient NPCs. But then his mind turned to the Titan’s Magic Eye sitting in his inventory. It was unquestionably a drop from an Infinite Dimensions creature. If the Primordial Titans were adventurers, why would they drop loot like that? Orson’s heart skipped a beat. That was the key. A Soul Seal was Divinity. It made sense now—Divinity had transformed into The divine item. "Could it be... a mismatch of race?" Orson muttered. Every Soul Seal, whether dropped by monsters or found elsewhere, had belonged to human adventurers. "You’ve started to figure it out," Endless Rift said, smirking with amusement. "Just like how, in your ancient histories, lower gods were once hunted and trapped—our kind learned how to hide our Weaponization Process from the prying eyes of their enforcers." "You’re talking about the Grey Watchers, aren’t you?" Orson asked, eyes narrowing. Endless Rift responded with a knowing smile. He tilted his head back, voice proud. "We were the gods’ proudest creations—their ultimate weapons. Our brilliance eclipsed that of most races in the galaxy. We were born to forge, to dominate. We even tamed the mighty Vilitian for them." At that, his gaze shifted to the small red bird perched on Sienna’s shoulder—Ignis. Orson’s breath caught. That meant Saryantos and his wife’s entire homeland... had been wiped out by the Titans? If Saryantos were here, he’d definitely go to war with this guy on the spot. Endless Rift paused before continuing. "I arrived here a thousand years ago using a Titan artifact—the Ancient Void Gate." Orson blinked. He pointed at the two massive metal spheres behind him. "You mean... that thing?" You cannot inspect this item’s properties. He frowned. Whatever it was, it didn’t function like any magical or technological construct he’d ever encountered. Endless Rift nodded proudly. "It was forged from the hearts of two Void Kings. It possesses the power to cross starfields." Orson forced himself to stay calm. Void Kings were God-tier monsters—some even True Gods. To use their hearts as raw materials... the Primordial Titans must’ve been terrifyingly powerful. "But it’s a shame. When I arrived, I only found their mutilated corpses. The Twelve Titan Gods... killed in petty infighting. A disgrace. A tragedy." Endless Rift laughed maniacally. The chamber trembled with every echo of his voice. Sienna frowned slightly and nudged Orson, whispering privately, "I have a bad feeling. This guy’s going to turn on us." Orson instantly understood. The deaths of the Twelve Titans were deeply connected to the Chaos Sect—and to the Chaos Goddess herself. According to Sienna’s deductions, the Primordial Titans were tricked by the Tiamat Chaos Cauldron, a divine artifact with wish-granting power. They destroyed each other fighting over it. Orson was starting to see glimpses of the true origin of Infinite Dimensions. But something still didn’t add up. According to Saryantos, the Chaos Cauldron had survived intact until the end of the Era of Immortals. Yet now, it was in pieces. Could that have been the result of the Titan war? Parlenzo, sensing that the Titan’s strength might surpass Orson’s, crept behind Endless Rift and sneered venomously, "Even if you control six pieces of the Seven Thrones of Dominion and command most of the warzone’s army, you’re nothing compared to the gods!" "A weakling like you should know when to shut up." Endless Rift’s voice dropped to a low growl. He leaned in with a twisted grin. Parlenzo trembled violently. But he couldn’t accept the fall from power. Grinding his teeth, he barked, "I’m the leader of a nation! I am not weak! Show me some respect!" "No. I’m done with you." The Titan’s hand came down. Parlenzo was crushed like a bug—reduced to a puddle of blood and bone. "I want to return to my people," Endless Rift said casually, brushing the gore from his fingers. "To tell them that the gods are dead. That they were the true enemy. That our sacrifice was meaningless." His gaze locked onto Orson. "And you—you want to protect your friends, your family. I believe there’s room for... cooperation." "Oh yeah? Let’s hear it," Orson said, raising an eyebrow as he looked up at the giant. He still couldn’t fully read this guy’s stats, but he could feel it—this was no joke. This was a seasoned Titan adventurer, with a thousand years of combat experience. "I need a God-tier body to activate the Ancient Void Gate," Endless Rift said, eyes glinting. "And wouldn’t you know it—you just happen to have a Divine-Blood Phoenix." He looked hungrily at Ignis. "That bird won’t survive the chaos of the void, but I would be... generous enough to bring you with me when I leave this doomed world. Seems like a fair deal." Ignis felt the malice instantly. Feathers flaring, its cute form exploded into a majestic divine firebird, screeching with fury. "Wait," Sienna said coldly, stepping in front of Ignis and raising a hand. "Adventurer of the Titan World... don’t you realize how outrageous your request is?" Orson smirked, glancing up at the giant with a mocking grin. "A blessing? You think you’re doing us a favor?" "A gift," Endless Rift corrected. "You humans don’t know how to appreciate generosity." "A galactic-sized ego and a sense of humor. Sienna, you hearing this?" Sienna gave a small smile. "My first interstellar cold joke. Not bad." "You’re arrogant, human. A so-called king of this galactic wasteland is nothing compared to an ordinary soldier from the core worlds." Endless Rift let out a snort of contempt, his golden vertical eye scanning Orson from head to toe. "Lord-Class Adventurer? I’ve killed millions of your kind during my long journey. You think you’re strong?" Orson scratched his head and chuckled as a system prompt appeared: You have consumed 37 million merit points. You have advanced to: Adventurer · Domain Master! Reward: 8000 free stat points, 12,000 skill points, 10 talent points. "Take a good look," Orson said coolly. "Now, check again. What’s my tier?" "You... Domain Master. Hmph. Impressive. I admit you’re strong, but still inexperienced." Endless Rift’s eye narrowed slightly, clearly surprised. You have consumed 110 million merit points. You have advanced to: Adventurer · Saint Lord! Reward: 15,000 free stat points, 22,000 skill points, 15 talent points. You have gained buff: World-Unmatched! Effect: 10% chance to deal 120% bonus damage on attack. Endless Rift slowly stood. A blinding white glow burst from Orson’s body, magical runes swirling around him as the very air vibrated with power. "You think that’s it?" Orson grinned, eyes glinting with wicked amusement. "You’re not seriously going to tell me King-Class Adventurer is supposed to be impressive... are you?"
