Infinite Range: The Sniper Mage Chapter 652

[Unique Effect: Reincarnation Rebirth. Summon the fallen heroic spirits of the Godslayer Guild and its allied guilds from Earth and Infinite Dimensions. Each resurrection consumes one year of the World Tree's lifespan.] Orson's heart trembled. No wonder the ancestors of Radiant Shuttle were obsessed with planting trees. This thing was beyond broken. With this World Tree, they essentially had a massive, fixed-point resurrection fountain—usable a million times until the tree completely withered. "Godslayer… forever!" A frontline player burst into tears, shouting at the top of his lungs. That one cry set off a storm of cheers. The entire Godslayer Guild erupted in chants, their pride and excitement soaring. No matter how brave someone was, fear of death was human instinct. But the Godslayer Guild had the best priest team on the planet. Now with a Divine Artifact backing them, they couldn't even imagine how they'd be killed permanently. "I told you my brother's a beast!" Sienna laughed, hanging off Orson's neck like a child. Orson smiled, glancing at her with warmth. He'd once worried that his brilliance might overshadow Sienna and cause problems, but clearly, she had a natural grace he couldn't compete with. Worrying over such things had been a brother's pointless insecurity. "Wolves at the gates, and the dragon rises!" Sienna stood beneath the towering World Tree, her black feathers fluttering, her voice resonating with absolute authority. "Godslayer Alliance will pacify all threats!" "Those who dare attack the US…" Her eyes burned with warlust as she raised her fallen angel staff high. Bradley, clad in golden armor, lifted his elemental greatsword and bellowed, "Crush their balls! Make them regret ever being born!" A roaring warcry echoed through the Celestial Fortress. Its core shook with raw energy as the entire stronghold entered mobilization mode. Thousands of teleportation portals opened like glowing curtains. Demon Emperor, ShatteredCrown, Magical Fiancée, Drunken Dream, and other guild leaders gathered their elite forces under the looming sky. "Engrave the scrolls—prepare for pinpoint teleportation," Sienna ordered sharply. Six space-type mages stepped forward from the allied mage corps, each holding a blank [Magic Scroll: Void] dropped by the slain Purple-Gold Dragon King. They began engraving the scrolls with the A-tier space spell [Gate of Realms]. At the same time, space mages who had traveled ahead to foreign warzones started engraving the other ends. Once linked, these scrolls would create ultra-long-distance teleportation gates—perfect for strategic ambushes. While ancient teleportation circles could also reach enemy zones, the few available nodes had long been heavily fortified by opposing adventurers. Aside from the Dragon's Kiss Guild and its subsidiaries, six major guilds of the Godslayer Alliance—totaling 200,000 elite players—split into six assault forces, preparing to hit different warzones simultaneously. Meanwhile, on the native side, after a string of brutal wars, the fractured lands of Infinite Dimensions had been united into a solid front. Led by Ursula and Sylothor, over a dozen King-tier leaders and their armies—nearly a million strong—would guard every US portal. "That egg's already been delivered. She'll find you after it hatches." Drunken Dream strolled over during the preparations. Orson gave him a calm nod. He had no doubt about his mount's ability to handle things. As for whether the egg would hatch successfully… that was up to Berenice's fate. "Sorry, Captain. All we found was a broken God-Slaying Sword." Alexander handed over a [Seal-Breaking Short Sword]—imbued with law-breaking energy capable of harming even gods. Of the original set of God-Slaying weapons lost to Infinite Dimensions' long history, this and a few fragments were all that remained. Despite earlier leads uncovered by Orson after killing Misius, the remaining swords were hidden in forbidden zones far beyond the current reach of adventurers. "Keep it. For your own protection." Orson declined the Divine weapon with a chuckle. With his current power, he could go toe-to-toe with godlike entities. A close-range god-slaying weapon held little value for him. "If he doesn't want it, I'll take it." A cold-voiced young mage stepped forward—DonutWizard, once a prodigy of the SSR Club. Now an awakened SS-rank Meteor Mage, ranked 42nd on the global power charts. No one underestimated him. Orson ignored the would-be rival. His gaze shifted to the woman behind Alexander. "Well now… long time no see, Captain Wedge." "I'm no captain anymore, Guildmaster," she replied with a faint smile. "I'm not a guildmaster either. Just a regular guy." Alexander and DonutWizard's expressions twitched. Was this guy serious? Wedge's eyes flicked toward Drunken Dream. She smiled. "Silver Dragon Knight. Are you really pretending you don't know me?" "Y-yeah. I know you." Drunken Dream looked like he wanted to crawl into a hole. After getting used and dumped by her, he wasn't sure whether to be mad or afraid. DonutWizard, now slightly more mature, bit back his resentment and reached for the sword. But Wedge raised a hand, stopping him. "This blade belongs in the hands of someone who can wield it. You're not there yet." She insisted on handing it to Orson. The betrayal by Snow Dream had crushed her ambitions. Now she looked more like someone drifting with the current. Orson accepted the blade with a peaceful smile, then casually tossed it into the ground. "You arrogant bastard! You think I gave you a Divine weapon because you deserve it?" DonutWizard snapped, eyes red with fury. "Arrogant? Maybe. But I hope you get arrogant too. Hope you'll be bold enough to take the mage's banner." Orson's eyes sharpened. Elemental energy surged around him, his Supreme Mage robes snapping in the wind. In Infinite Dimensions, power was numbers. Aura meant nothing. But now… standing before the true Orson in the fusion world… That pressure, that tidal wave of energy—he felt like a lone candle in a storm. Cold sweat drenched his forehead. His legs trembled. "Catch me. Surpass me." "I'll be waiting for you on the Stairway to Godhood." Lifted by swirling wind magic, Orson hovered midair. His gaze stayed cold and unshaken. With a wave, he tore open the Battle Space. A dragon's roar echoed as Aeloria swept in beneath him. They shot off toward the teleportation gate headed for the NUK warzone. DonutWizard collapsed to his knees, unable to stand a moment longer. He had just felt the presence of a god. "Don't beat yourself up. You've still got a long road ahead." Wedge helped him to his feet with a soft smile. "Don't let people look down on you." "Wait for me! I'll catch up… I'll do it!" DonutWizard clenched his jaw, his eyes burning again. Then he glanced over to ShatteredCrown, who was goofing off with several senior mages, grinning like a clown. He muttered through clenched teeth, "You? A disciple of the Archmage? I'll crush you first." ShatteredCrown sneezed loudly, utterly confused. "What the hell? Can you catch a cold in the fusion world now? This game's messing with me!"
