Her face flushed, Ruby hugged the chick, trying to get the others to come closer.
But not just Slaughter Spree—even the airborne Dragon Knights scattered in panic, pulling back over 800 meters.
It wasn't just the players—every dragon mount reacted as well, sensing a world-ending elemental pressure from the seemingly harmless bird, locking eyes on it with tense hostility.

Slaughter Spree and the others turned pale. The players in Godslayer were already freakish enough, but their mounts? Completely broken.
The Death God Dragon King's strength was obvious, but this little chick's mere classification was enough to make veterans nearly faint.
"What are they so afraid of, bro?" Ruby tilted her head.
Bradley said nothing. Instead, he showed her the beast panel Orson had sent him.

The Bloodstone Pass guards went into chaos, desperately trying to catch her. But when it came to stealing, not even Crimson Lizard King could match her speed.
She ignored the barrier, blitzed through the air, and no spell could even touch her.
"Worms, I've taken a liking to this stupid rock—so, bye now!"
Moments later, Berenice zoomed out of a domed structure, hugging a stone. The Bloodstone Pass barrier vanished instantly.
Ignis chirped sharply, flapping its stubby wings and wobbling into the air.
"Where are you going? Don't fly away!" Ruby cried.
The players all stared, slack-jawed, watching the yellow chick wobble its way toward the fortress.
"Kill that weird bird!" the bearded NPC commander shouted.
Ignis wasn't fast, but it had an innate sense of danger. Every time enemy spells swarmed, it found a gap and slipped through.
It got within 200 meters.
The attacks intensified—soon there'd be nowhere to dodge.
Then came a roar—three Earth Dragons and one Golden Dragon burst out of Riftrock City, chasing after Berenice.
"Help! My grandkids are trying to kill me!" Berenice screamed.
The four Dragon Knights blocked out the sun, their breath attacks flooding the sky toward her and Ignis.
"Cover them!" Bradley shouted. With the flight restriction lifted, he led the dragons, mechs, and warriors into the sky.
Under Wild Gale's command, ten Titan Mechs opened fire. Explosive rounds filled the air, blossoming into flowers of death.
The battle exploded instantly.
Magic waves clashed, rippling and detonating.
"Damn! The weakest one's already down!" a Glory Seekers Dragon Knight taunted.
Next to him, a Slaughter Guild rider had been vaporized by a stray hit.
But a few seconds later, that same rider respawned in midair on his dragon.
"What the hell—self-resurrect?"
"You Glory Seekers noobs don't get it. We're Slaughter Guild—Godslayer's old ally. We've got Revive Potions for days. Ever heard of Rootless Water?"
In a mixed raid group, old rivalries were common—especially for the Ten Kings underworld faction. Their hands were stained with the blood of countless upstart guilds.
But under one man's banner, even mortal enemies had to act like best friends.
"Idiot, stop showboating—your dragon's about to get shredded."
The Glory Seekers rider cursed, but still raised his lance to block the incoming barrage for his rival.
"Yo, not bad bro!" the Slaughter rider grinned.
Then a golden breath blast came out of nowhere.
The Glory Seekers rider's face twisted—he'd fallen into a trap trying to protect his ally.
The Slaughter rider activated his Earth Dragon's full defense.
Its scales glowed with elemental light, becoming a living shield.
The dragon still lost HP fast, but it bought his partner precious time.
They locked eyes, bloodlust surging, and with the help of a Godslayer mech warrior, triple-teamed the Golden Dragon Knight.
Ignis finally reached the wall, taking hit after hit.
"Nooo!" Ruby screamed, sobbing.
Blood poured down Ignis's body. It stood still, eyes closed, as Phoenix Blood drenched its feathers.
The pale yellow fuzz darkened to red, then deepened into a ghostly purple.
Suddenly, every fire element in a hundred-mile radius surged, as if obeying a divine will.
The skies opened—a blood-red eye stared down from the heavens.
Everyone's face turned crimson under its gaze.
"Infernal Detonation."
A soft, childlike voice echoed. Every NPC froze in horror.
"My little chick… is dead?" Ruby whispered, tears flowing.
Ignis's body vanished in a flash of red light. From the flames rose twin phoenixes, soaring across the sky.
Their cry shook the soul.
A horrifying beauty swept over the battlefield.
In a single instant, a raging inferno engulfed Bloodstone Pass. The city wall exploded, leaving a massive hole dozens of meters wide.
"With my tiny, fragile body—I forge the will of Forever City for my master!"
