The Flame Dragon's nest leader let out a deafening roar, causing dragon power to sweep across the Celestial Fortress. Players all around felt their hearts pound in terror.
Madman: "What the hell! Three Flame Dragons are here together!"
The Godslayer group was just about to retreat into the labyrinth, when two Lower Pinnacle Dragons, along with a severely wounded Six-Winged Inferno Dragon, appeared. Clearly, their target was none other than Orson, whom they sought revenge for their fallen offspring.
"Quickly! Orson is in big trouble. Nightshade, take the Titan Mech and go support him," Bradley said with a dark expression, glancing at Nightshade who was busy checking the damage report.
"But he told us not to intervene... What do we do?" Nightshade asked, confused.
Bradley felt something was wrong and was about to speak when Nightshade pointed at the three massive dragons in the sky. "Three A-class players turned into monsters. I've knocked one down myself, Orson can handle them easily."
The group stared at him, dumbfounded. What did he mean by "A-class players turned into monsters"?
Had he lost his mind from playing too many goblins? They couldn't even check the target's attributes, yet he was saying things ?
"Wait... you're saying you fought an A-class player to the point of damaging them?" Madman suddenly realized something.
Nightshade nodded sheepishly. "Yeah, they're strong. I almost lost my goblin leader. A-class players are too powerful... I'm terrible at this game."
Madman slapped his forehead in frustration. "What the hell… No one plays like you."
Old Yin: "I get it now. The real players of Godslayer are just a front. The life players are the real bosses. Damn."
Madman shook his head and thought for a moment. "Fine, if the fat bastard doesn't want us to help, then there's probably a reason."
Bradley, still worried, frowned. Without flying capability, even running to Orson's location might be futile. But just as he was about to speak, a sound came from the broken ruins near the labyrinth entrance.
Sparks flew up in front of Bradley, and his lightsaber vibrated violently. A shattered enchanted arrow lay on the ground.
Madman's expression changed. "Someone's coming! Get ready, everyone!"
A group of Npc guards, clad in silver armor, appeared through the wreckage. They moved with eerie calm, like a group of silver phantoms, advancing steadily.
Madman cursed under his breath. "Damn, it's the Xian family!"
Dynasty Old Yin: "Watch out, these Npcs are crazy strong! I almost lost to one of their centurions."
The Godslayer group paused and turned around. Without realizing it, they had been surrounded by the Xian family's Npc guards.
Bradley, wielding both a light and dark sword, his eyes glinting with menace, said, "First, clear out the small fry. Leave the three centurions to me!"
These Npcs had incredibly high health, and the three centurions were at the peak of Lord-Class. They were far more formidable than typical monster bosses.
"Majesty rules the world!"
"Silver Dragon Immortal, Invincible under Heaven!"
"Silver Dragon Knight, the true number one player in the US region!"
Suddenly, a series of battle cries rang out.
The Godslayer group squinted their eyes instinctively as a flash of silver dragon shadow flew overhead, its radiant light blinding to the point where it was hard to focus on the target.
Kabaitan Xian: "We pay our respects to the Silver Dragon Young Master. Please, let us join forces to eradicate these imperial heretics."
One of the centurions, standing proudly on top of the silver dragon, spoke reverently to the figure standing above them.
Iron Cavalry couldn't help but shout: "What the hell... we're screwed! Supreme Guild, how the hell do they have a Silver Dragon mount?"
Absolute Kid: "We're in deep trouble now! We're surrounded!"
The Godslayer group gripped their weapons tightly. Surrounded on all sides, the main combatants couldn't help but worry.
This 20-level Silver Dragon had more health than the Empress of the Moon, a Flame Dragon, by an entire 10 million points. The exact abilities of the dragon were unavailable for viewing, which indicated that its power far surpassed most of those present. This dragon was terrifying.
Dancing Giant Boobs: "So this is a Silver Dragon Knight... looks pretty strong. Wonder if we can take him down."
Dancing Giant Boobs: "I've still got a few mana grenades left. If I find the right moment to shove them in its mouth, maybe we can do something... hehe."
Dancing Giant Boobs: "The health bar's thick, but with some of Little Night's secret weapons, we could cut him down in three hits."
Dancing Giant Boobs: "Try it and you'll be dead."
Dancing Giant Boobs chuckled, readying a sniper rifle. She intended to take a shot at the young Silver Dragon's skull.
Drunken Dream: "You're as insane as my friends..." he remarked, with three black lines forming on his forehead.
Everyone knew that the main combatants of Godslayer were not to be messed with, but what they didn't realize was that the most ferocious, most battle-hungry, and most reckless members of the guild were actually the life players.
"Ha! A bunch of mob players still daring to shout. Under the Silver Dragon, you're all ants. I'll have you on the ground screaming in no time!"
Max arrived riding a fiery lizard, his face filled with disdain as he swept his gaze over the Godslayer group.
"Without Triple Crown winner, the Godslayer guild is nothing."
"My dear bro, can you move a bit faster? I'm getting impatient!" a female archer sitting behind Max shouted.
"Shut the hell up! What's your bust size? Come down here so I can see," Absolute Kid spat back rudely.
Old Yin grinned darkly. "As expected of Absolute Kid. About 5'3", weighs 260 pounds, a real beauty."
"Keep talking. Keep on, soon you won't be able to say a word. The SSR people are coming. You're all done for!" the female archer, Eliza, sneered.
The Supreme Guild players were mocking Godslayer, but Madman remained unfazed. He looked up at the Silver Dragon Knight King and sent a private message.
"Drunken, which side are you on?"
Drunken Dream smiled bitterly when he saw the message. "I'm on the side that wants to live. But I want to ask, can you give me a promise on behalf of Orson?"
Madman laughed loudly. "Of course, if he dares say no, I'll go pull his internet cable myself."
"Got it," Drunken Dream said with a deep breath, then continued. "My family background is complicated, and the two people with me have considerable influence in both the black and white markets."
"Not bad? How much influence? Can they even stand up to the US military?" Madman asked, raising an eyebrow sarcastically.
Drunken Dream's eyes widened, but then he seemed reassured. They exchanged a look and said in unison: "Let's go!"
The Silver Dragon Knight raised his lance, and both Max and Eliza grinned.
But only for a moment. Eliza's pupils trembled as she realized that she and Max had been kicked out of the battle group by Drunken Dream.
With a face full of resentment, Eliza glared at Drunken Dream: "You bastard! Are you crazy!? You lunatic!"
Drunken Dream's response was simple.
In the eyes of Eliza, her usually docile brother suddenly shattered Max's skull with a single shot.
"You're right. I am crazy! Got a crazy disease where I need to live and get out of The Upton Family!"
With a deranged grin, Drunken Dream swept his gun across the battlefield, ripping Eliza in half.
He was just someone trying to get by, but his blood relatives wanted him dead!
In an instant, the entire situation was flipped upside down.
"What is the Guild Leader doing...?"
"What the hell just happened!?"
The Supreme Guild players were still trying to figure things out when the next shocking thing happened.
