The Cursed Evil Spirit let out a chilling shriek and extended its bone claws toward him.
Ride Donkey grinned, quickly activating his taunt skill to take the damage, and his teammates, including Old Yin, fell into position, preparing to focus fire.
However, to everyone's surprise, Ride Donkey's expression changed. His sword slashed through the air, splitting a nearby table in half.
Then the Cursed Evil Spirit passed right through his body.
He turned stiffly to look behind him, and the evil spirit's bone claws were holding onto a white humanoid spiritual figure.
"I… I can't move!" Ride Donkey's back chilled as he was affected by the Soul Lock effect, becoming immobilized for three seconds.
The evil spirit let out a sinister laugh, tightening its grip, and the spirit in its claws screamed in agony.
"Such an idiot," Blank sneered, retreating to a corner to watch the chaos unfold.
"Holy crap… what kind of ridiculous attack is this? Physical immunity?" Ride Donkey's senses went numb, his health dropping rapidly.
"Not that, bro. Why is the healing effect halved on top of everything?"
Absolute Kid quickly cast a healing spell on him, but as a violence-focused healer, healing wasn't his forte.
Combined with the Cursed Evil Spirit's self-applied healing debuff, his healing was barely enough to make a dent. He could only watch as Ride Donkey's health was wiped out.
At the same time, more than ten melee players, seeing that the elite boss only had 50,000 health, became greedy and rushed in to grab the loot.
However, another Cursed Evil Spirit transformed into black mist and passed through the players' bodies, quickly collecting a bunch of souls.

Absolute Kid: "Shut your mouth, you big idiot. You're a 18-year-old headstrong mage, trying to play the role of some old wizard? Who's the real problem here?"
Old Yin: "Do you know Gandalf, mage? This is called a classic character creation, perfect immersion!"
The two argued non-stop, while another archer was more direct, shooting two arrows at the feet of the two fastest runners, forcing them to stop.
Burnt Chicken Wings: "Sorry, I've got too much money on me. If I die, all the gold will drop."
The two players cursed loudly, and as their speed slowed, the Cursed Evil Spirit lunged at them, killing them instantly.
Burnt Chicken Wings: "Ride Donkey, it's your turn now! You tank while I deal damage. This boss takes magic damage, so I'll use enchanted arrows…"
At the revival point, Ride Donkey successfully respawned. He shook his armored body, and his battle armor glowed red.
This skill had a magical burning effect and was particularly effective against undead creatures. It was one of the signature moves of the Earth Fire Knight.
Burnt Chicken Wings thought he was being clever, waiting for Ride Donkey to arrive so he could mindlessly deal damage and finish off the boss.

"Sell me out again! This is karma!" Absolute Kid laughed maliciously, while Ride Donkey charged at the boss. With the Flame Armor protecting him, he held up much better than before.
Even though his great sword couldn't deal damage to the Cursed Evil Spirit, Ride Donkey relied on his skillful positioning, staying close to the boss and using the Flame Armor aura to burn it. Gradually, they gained the upper hand.
But while Flame Armor was powerful, it had a shield value limit, and against the Cursed Evil Spirit's insane 4000 attack, the armor cracked quickly.
"I'll allow one person to attack. Healer, get in there!" Ride Donkey said shamelessly.
Unfortunately, he overestimated his influence. As soon as the words were out, the others ignored him and began launching their enchanted attacks at the boss.
No team coordination, no spirit of teamwork—just everyone relying on their own gear and skills to hit the Cursed Evil Spirit.
A magic eye appeared overhead, and someone took over the Cursed Evil Spirit's control.
A dark six-pointed star lit up, and Absolute Kid's expression changed: "Get back, he's about to reduce healing! Potions won't stop it!"
Despite the chaos, the team quickly spread out, creating distance.
Just as the six-pointed star began to glow, it suddenly vanished, and the team froze. "Did he cancel the casting?"
The Cursed Evil Spirit let out a mournful cry and vanished in front of Ride Donkey, who thought he had drawn aggro, instead prioritizing the nearly-dead archer, Burnt Chicken Wings.
