Although reluctantly, the River Serpent Sect forfeited all rights to a large part of the Outer Sect, moving all their disciples away from the Heaven Exploding Cave Abode, leaving the Crimson Devil Lord and all his admirers to do whatever it was they wished to do.
And while that was happening, the River Serpent Sect focused on their war with the Razgod Empire and the Sapphrine Empire—an Empire that had decided to join the alliance of the Judoka Sect and Razgod Empire a few years ago.
On a side note, they weren't the only ones to gain an ally, as the Ice Goddess Sect and River Serpent Sect had also gained another Top Tier faction in their alliance, namely, the 'Earth Bound Empire', yet another peak empire on the Northern Spirit Continent—an empire that lorded over a good section of the frosty eastern part of the continent.
They were originally an empire that pledged not to interfere in the wars of the world, but after the Razgod Empire decided to raid and pillage their lands without a care for their face, they decided to shatter that pledge and team up with the Ice Goddess Sect and River Serpent Sect.
On a side note, they weren't the only factions that were devolving into an all-out war, as every Rank 7 Sect, or the equivalent of an Apex force, was making big waves behind the scenes, choosing which alliance they wanted to join before the utterly bloody war to decide the true ruler of the Northern Spirit Continent came around!
Nevertheless, on a certain mountain with exotic birds and mythical creatures roaming around the lush grassy mountain slopes, a man of unparalleled beauty was looking at his system interface with a hand pressed up against his chin.

Azmodeus perused his system interface with a satisfied glint in his eyes, as there were many things that had changed in it over the years.
The first and foremost being his level, combat strength, and stats, all of which were leagues above what they were half a century ago!
This was, of course, due to not only his Evolution Essence gains acquired from the casual genocides conducted by the Mirror Mirage's but also because of his own efforts in cultivation.
In fact, excluding his level, he was capable of improving both his stats and combat power by a substantial amount just using his constantly increasing Cultivation Talent, Physique's, and extended periods of time.
It was because of this that he was able to improve his overall combat power to the very peak of the Lunar Ascendancy Realm, namely, the Half-Step Comet's Passage Realm!
He had no clue what level of strength was enough to impress the judges stationed at the Astral Leap, but if even the Half-Step Comet's Passage Realm was unable to give him maximum marks, then it might as well be impossible...
On the subject of the Astral Leap, the time of its start was inching ever closer, and it would likely occur within the next nine years.
But until that point came, Azmodeus had a few things he had to get off his Prometheus bucket list.
The first and most important one was to find Yang Hua's father in the Dragon Land Alliance—an Alliance that he had already discerned to be in the northern section of the Boundless Archipelago, roughly 100 sextillion miles away from his current position.
It was unknown why those Tribulation Transcendance Realm Experts had taken him so far away from the Mainland, but that was irrelevant for the Crimson Devil Lord, as his only purpose was to eradicate all those responsible for the kidnapping of his master.
He was also doing it for Yang Hua's sake, but he would never admit that openly…
Nevertheless, that was the main objective that he had left in Prometheus, but there were two more side ones, both of which were related to each other in a way.
The first one was to figure out what Jue Mei, the alien cat, was planning to do after he left.
And if she planned to come with him, should he simply take the entire Fallen Immortal Mountain along with him to save some trouble?
What to do about his Cave Abode and those moochers were his second concern, as although Yang Hua, Nao Long, and Rou Tian were of the 2nd Stage Tribulation Transcendance Realm, while Jue Mei was in the 9th Stage Tribulation Transcendance Realm, it was unknown whether or not he could protect them while on a higher plane of existence than Prometheus.
Yang Hua, Nao Long, and Rou Tian possessed cultivation talent of the Absolute Peak-Heaven Rank, while Jue Mei's was capable of increasing through some mysterious method similar to his, but it was still out there on whether that was enough to allow them to safely cultivate in the Starry Expanse.
But it also wasn't like he could just leave those Yandere's and that mysterious loot-giving cat on Prometheus, so he ultimately ended up landing on the idea of taking his Cave Abode and the mountain itself along with him.
Theoretically, it was possible, but whether or not it would be permitted by the judges of the Astral Leap was a different matter altogether…
