Siddharth's POV
Bhai and Maurvi were lost in their own world. Mehul and Rahul pushed them into the pool. She shrieked and shut her eyes. Bhai held her tightly in his arms as she was a bit scared and was clutching him a bit tightly. They fell into the water and he got up fast as she didn't know how to swim so she looked scared. But then she opened her eyes and blushed as they were locked in each other's arms.
Kshitij also picked up Noopur and dropped her in one kid's pool which was filled with hot pink coloured water. They were laughing like kids.
I threw a small bucket full of purple water on Bhai and laughed at his expression. He ran after me.
" You wait, Sid !! Now it is my chance to throw you in that water pool. "
Oh god!! I ran with full speed as he was in a mood to take revenge and I was not strong enough to fight against the boxing champion.
I was running ahead of him when I collided with someone and we both lost our balance and fell into the coloured water pool.
I felt a soft body against mine.
Everything stopped around us. we got out of the water and were coughing and then after a minute or so we became normal and took deep breaths.
Finally, I opened my eyes and looked at the person I collided with. I was shocked.
Oh my god!!
Was I getting hallucinations??
I saw Shruti standing in the pool beside me. She saw me and even she looked shocked.
She was glaring at me and I was busy ogling at her. It was some kind of dream. But looked absolutely real, I just bumped into her and then we fell in the water.
" What are you doing here? " I asked her. I was so happy to see her here.
" Who are you to ask that? Are you following me? Why are you here? " She asked me in a fit of anger.
" Oh hello, why would I follow you? You think really highly of yourself I am cordially invited here by Vikram. But I think you must have come here because you saw me coming to the party. Admit it that you can't resist my charm after all. " I wanted to pull her in my arms.
" To hell with your charm, I don't even give a damm about it. I would not follow you even if you were the last man on this earth. " she said making a face.
" I remember you following me once, beautiful. "
" It was your misunderstanding. I was looking for some book which happened to be with you. And today, even I am invited to this party. I am Vidhi's friend. She invited me. " She looked very annoyed.
It seemed as if she wanted to kill me while I was very amused. I wanted to play Holi with her.
" Wait for a minute guys... What is going on? Chill yaar it is not a battleground. It is a Holi party. Cool down Shruti... He is Gautam bhaiya's brother. What's wrong with both of you? Do you know each other? " Vidhi ( Vikram's sister) said.
" Yes," I said
" NO," She said.
What? So she doesn't know me now?
Fine !!
She pushed me again in water and walked away. I got out of the water and looked in her direction.
" What was that, Sid?? " Vidhi asked me.
" Nothing important, leave that... let's enjoy the party. " I took a fist full of colour and applied it on Vidhi's face. She smiled and did the same. She dragged him to introduce me to her friends.
We were laughing, applied colour on each other and threw coloured water on each other. I even hugged her as she was like a sister to me as we all grew up together. She was smiling but I felt that someone was burning somewhere.
I saw Shruti was getting annoyed, whenever I applied colour to any girl, she made a face.
Was she jealous??
Why else would she get annoyed if I play Holi with Vidhi or other girls??

Shruti's POV
Oh God!!! What was he doing here??
I was enjoying the party so much but he had to come and spoil everything.
Why did he have to come to the same party?? He is such a liar, keeps saying that he has feelings for me and look at him right now, playing Holi with all the girls.
I was burning inside, I don't know why, but to see him playing Holi with Vidhi, and other girls irritated me.
Why?? You don't even want to see his face. Right??
Yeah !!! He is an idiot, flirt and a rich brat who thinks that girls were some kind of toys. Use them till they entertain them and then throw away and look for a new one.
Then why are you irritated when he is enjoying playing Holi with others??
I don't know...
But I know why ?? I can tell you but you won't like it. Honestly, you just wanted to play Holi with him.

You want him to persuade you to talk to him as he used to.

I planned to stay away from him. I just wanted him to leave me alone. He was a liar, cheat and a playboy.
I wanted to trust what he was saying, but how can I not believe what I saw??
It was just a game for him, but I started feeling something for him over time. I could not tell him my feelings and at the same time, could not even see him with anyone else.
I was going insane. I didn't even know, what I wanted... But just didn't want to surrender to his charms.
I tried to distract my mind away. But didn't like the way he was playing Holi with Vidhi and those two other girls.
Siddharth's POV
The party was going very well. Everyone was enjoying, playing Holi like kids.
We were engrossed in playing Holi when Bhai called me, " Sid, why don't you come near food stalls, Have food and Vikram needs a bit of help from you. " We all went there.
" Can you please involve and distract Sandhya's brother, so that Vikram can spend some time with Sandhya? He is sulking. " Bhai asked me and I smiled at Vikram Bhai and nodded.
" Sure bhai anything for you," I said and smiled devilishly.
" But you don't know how he is.... he won't come with us easily. " Vidhi said.
" We will find some way. " I said.
The food was served...
Some traditional snacks which are usually eaten on holi like Namakpare, Pakoras, Gujiya, small matar Samosa, Dahi vada, Kanji Wada, Sandwiches etc were also served. Then there were Chhole bhature, Kachori Subji and the regular food.
But the food had to wait, first, we had to solve Vikram bhai's problem.
We all went to meet Sandhya bhabhi as Shubh( Bhabhi's brother) was standing nearby.
Vikram was dying to play Holi with bhabhi but her brother was there and she was getting shy in his presence.
Bhai gave an idea to Vikram Bhai to play with plain water as it would not cause any allergy and he was very happy.
I don't know why but I felt that there was some tension between Shubh and Vidhi just like there was between Shruti and me. I asked him to join us but he refused.
What was his problem??
Vikram Bhai had also come by now. He told Shubh to go and enjoy as he was there with bhabhi now.
Vidhi asked him again to join us but he didn't agree. But I knew that if he felt something for her he would come eventually.
I said, " let it be Vidhi, maybe he is scared of colours or playing Holi. I want to enjoy this festival. Let's play Holi. Happy Holi !!!" I applied more colour to her face. Shubh was glaring at us. Shruti also seemed annoyed...
Bingo !!!!
Vidhi also applied lots of colour to my face. Shubh was almost panting now.
Even Shruti was behaving as if she was irritated. Vidhi caught my hand and pulled me for the dance.
The holi songs were playing and people had started dancing. We started dancing and enjoying ourselves.
