She was seeing red right now! Jett was talking to two females. One was his cousin Brenda and the other one was Margaux. The latter’s arms were around her womanizing man’s bicep.
She moved forward so he could hear her. The gazebo wasn’t that far from the pathway.
"JETT!" she called.
The last thing she wanted to do was call him by their endearment. The three of them turned to her. Jett's cousin frowned slightly.
"Love?" His tone was really surprised.
He hurriedly removed Margaux’s arms around him and as expected her looked really worried. His forehead creased. The female rattlesnake named Margaux got the nerve to look angrily at her. She tried hard not to show a painful expression but she was hurting big time. She could think of multiple ways on how to get back at these two but she had to keep her composure. She was too pretty for the kind of scenes she was imagining doing to Jett and Margaux. It would be too bloody and she didn’t want to ruin her white dress. She then just jutted her chin.
"The wedding is almost finished and soon people are going to the reception. You can proceed there anytime you are ready.” Her voice was icy.
With her head held high, she began to walk again. This time, instead of going to the reception like her original plan, she would go up their suite. She would go down again after an hour. She was afraid that people could see her pain. She heard Jett calling her but she ignored him. She was holding back her tears. When she felt his hand on her arm, she wriggled free and entered the lift. She couldn’t stop him getting in of course.
"Love...let me explain."He pushed the close button.
She was looking straight ahead and from her peripheral vision she saw that he was about to reach for her so she moved away from him. She wasn’t even looking at him.
"Don't you dare touch me! I will scream if you do!"
She heard him cursed but didn't attempt to come touch or come nearer to her. She was praying that no one else will get in with them because at this point she was ready to blow a fuse. He was so possessive of her but he let his ex bed-warmer wrapped her arms around his biceps.
When the lift opened, she stepped out and turned to him. She had to tell him what she felt because she didn’t want him in the suite with her. If she wasn’t angry and hurt, she would surely laugh at his nervy expression. It was so unlike him.
"Look Love..." he tried to explain but she cut him.
"No! You listen to me! How dared you let that bitch touch you while men can't even look at me without you being violent?!" He reached for her but she slapped his hand and she stepped back. Surprisingly, he just sighed heavily and raked his hand through his hair. He appeared to be broken and frustrated.
"I don't want to talk to you right now! I want to be alone! Go down to the garden and I will meet you at the reception later!" she said angrily before leaving him.

She was in front of the bathroom mirror. She just finished crying. She splashed water on her face before looking at her reflection again.
Is she making a mountain out of a molehill?
Did she overreact? They weren’t kissing. Margaux was just holding on to Jett’s arm. She furrowed her brows.
But they were lovers. They had s*x in the past and she was betting her life on it that it didn’t only happened once in the past. Jett was a hot-blooded male so it was impossible for him not to feel anything while the side of Margaux’s breast was touching his side. Of course she had the right to be furious. Her heart was telling her to listen to his explanation first . She couldn’t just throw away what they had. But her brain was working overtime too. What if she wasn’t with him? Margaux being around was really scary. That b*tch was just waiting for the right opportunity to get on Jett’s bed again. She was here but that wh*re was able to make a first move already. She wondered if Jett knew she was coming.
In the end, she made a decision to follow what her heart and brain were saying. First, she would do what her heart was dictating. She would hear him out. If he didn’t convince her, she would decide what to do next.
With one heavy sigh, she fixed her make-up and decided to wear a different dress. She would put on the black dress Jett didn’t want her to wear. She dabbed on some perfume which was a present from him. The best revenge was to make him drool over her.

She entered the function hall of the hotel. Rina and Luis just finished having their photo taken with the guests at the table near the entrance. Rina came forward to her. They kissed and she congratulated the couple again.
“Jett is in the bar. Did you two had a fight?” She asked her.
She just chewed her bottom lip but she didn’t reply.
"Anyway just go to him. We don’t want him drinking too much. I hope you can fix whatever it is before he creates a scene. “
She just nodded and thanked her. She was about to go to Jett but Margaux came from nowhere and blocked her way. She was planning to go past her but the b*tch was really something else because she grabbed her arm.
She looked daggers at her and said in a very cold voice," Take your hands off me!"
To her surprise, she did release her arm but with a sneering smile said, "It won't be long before he is back in my territory. We will definitely make up for lost time. Sorry but I won't let him go again so make the most of it while he is still here."
That made her speechless. Her body froze and she became to be oblivious of the noise and happenings around her. Jett had never mentioned about his going back to the US anytime soon. She felt betrayed again. So she was right in thinking that what happened at the gazebo was the start. Jett was probably planning all this all along. He was just waiting for the chance when he and Margaux could be alone in the States so they would be lovers again.
What made you think that they are not f*cking each other here? Remember that woman has been in here for two weeks now. Are you forgetting that you are not with him 24/7? One side of her brain asked.
She balled her hands on her sides. That was possible. Jett seemed to never get tired of having s*x. He could have a quickie with Margaux when she wasn’t with him.
She frowned.
But Margaux would love to take the opportunity of telling it to her face it they already had s*x again so maybe they hadn’t yet. Jett was probably afraid that they could be caught doing it here in the country. In the US, they could be more free. She jutted her chin.
She didn’t have to wait for that to happen. She won't take this sitting down! She will show that Jett Alejandre what Ashley Martinez could do! She went out of the function hall in a hurry. She didn’t notice the woman heading towards the entrance so they collided.
"Hey!" The female complained.
She looked up to say sorry but she was surprised to see that it was Brenda.
"I'm sorry." she apologized then lowered her eyes.
She was on the verge of tears out of anger and she didn’t want Jett’s cousin to witness her breakdown.
"I think we better talk." Brenda said.

"SHIT! WHERE IS SHE??!" Jett was furious and Luis was trying to calm him down.
He was in his suite with Luis and their other male cousins. Their cousins Lino and Mark had to bring him to his suite because he was roaring drunk. Mark called Luis when Jett beame livid upon discovering that Ashley wasn’t in their suite and her stuff were missing too. She left her cell phone with a tracking device on the bed.
"What happened? Ashley seemed to be fine when she congratulated us at the reception! “ rasped Luis.
Jett didn’t make a scene at the reception but now the suite was in a mess. He shook his head. Some of the furniture was damaged because his cousin went ballistic
"Let me up! I will go find her! She can't just leave me like that!! F*cking shit! "
He was trying to get up from the sofa because his cousins were pinning him down.
"OH my God! What is going on?! Rina just came in the room. Seeing Jett in this state was really frightening.
"Call Scott!" Lino ordered Rina but she appeared to be in shock .
"Babe go now!" Luis said when Jett’s right foot hit his side. His cousin was still very strong even when he was blind drunk.
Then like a madman Jett raged, “LET ME UP!!”
That made Rina finally ran to call another cousin who was a doctor.
" ASHLEY! LET ME GO A*SHOLES!! I WILL FIND HER! ASHLEY!" Jett was even making sounds like an enraged beast while trying to get away from his cousin’s hold.

Finally Jett stopped. He was out like a light after Scott gave him a tranquilizer.
"He will be out for a few hours but we know him, once he woke up things could get worse. I suggest you call his girlfriend and tell her what happened.” Scott advised.
Luis raked his hand through his hair and sighed heavily. They all knew that Jett would not forgive them easily for what they did to calm him down . They had no choice so they resorted to asking Scott to tranquilize him.
"I will take care of it. I will talk to Ashley. “Said Brenda.
Luis just nodded. They didn't see Brenda's expression when she turned to leave the room.
