Shang Chan’s eyelashes fluttered slightly.

“It seems Manager Lin has been feeling a bit exhausted lately… But as the head of Xinghai’s investment department, how can you resign just like that? How about this—I’ll give you two days off. Go home, take your time to think it over, and then let’s talk again. How does that sound?”
Lin Tian frowned. She actually refused?
But as long as he could stay out of trouble, that was fine. Worst case, he just wouldn’t come back!
“Alright, thank you, President Shang. Then I’ll take my leave!”
Lin Tian stood up, nodded slightly, and turned to leave.

After a brief silence, the call connected.
“Look into the investment proposal from a few days ago. Check if Ice Eye has set us up… Also, get me a file on Jiang Yifeng.”
After a few seconds of silence, the call ended.
Shang Chan picked up her investment book again, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t focus on the words.
Her mind was completely occupied by Lin Tian’s figure.
