"I am," she answered without missing a beat. "It's not really about usefulness. I just don't think I'd be able to practice properly without you there."
He didn't quite know what she meant by that, but for now, he decided to trust her words.
Later, the two of them were face to face on a train headed toward a coastal station near the ocean. The scenery flashed past outside the window—rows of buildings giving way to stretches of green, until the distant glimmer of the sea peeked out on the horizon.
