"Evelyn?"
Malvin took one step forward and removed his hands-on Dena's hips. Malvin took Evelyn's hand and on reflex, Evelyn took a step back. She quickly controlled his emotions and expressions. She furrowed his brows.
"Sorry?" she said, pulling his hand back.
"Eve, I've been looking for you everywhere but I didn't find you." Malvin stood in front of Evelyn. The annoyed Dena was silent.
"Sorry, you're the wrong person." Evelyn stepped back. She showed a confused expression as if Malvin had the wrong person.
"I can't be wrong. You really are Evelyn, someone I'm looking for ... how could I forget you. "
Just then, Alex came over. He also grabbed Evelyn's hip and said, "I've been looking for you all the time, did something happen? Are you all right?"
Evelyn nodded, "I'm fine."
"Alex," Dena called out to him as they were about to turn around.
"Yes?"
"Is she your lover?"
"Of course, we've been together for a long time and will soon be getting married. Isn't that right, honey?" Alex kissed the top of Evelyn's head. Evelyn just smiled in response.
"Don't forget to invite me."
"Sure, I won't miss you."
The two of them immediately turned around. Dena smiled seeing them, while Malvin was still frozen in place. How could he not recognize his lover, the person he loved so much. From the look in his eyes, Malvin could already feel it.
While Dena, really knows Alex, his old friend from high school. Dena knows very well what kind of girl Alex likes and it can't be Evelyn. And even though it was Evelyn, she would have loved it when Evelyn was with Alex. which meant Malvin wasn't back with Evelyn.
"She's not Evelyn, dear, I know Alex very well. He likes cute and glamorous feminine girls."
Malvin was silent, he returned to put on a stiff and cold expression, then left the place. Dena smiled triumphantly then followed in Malvin's steps.
Evelyn left the room with Alex at her side.
"What an apology about what I just did." whatever he thought, he just felt the need to do it in front of Dena.
"It's okay, it's just ... don't do it again."
"Do you know them?"
Evelyn shook her head. "I don't know him." Evelyn suddenly felt her body weak, she staggered and almost fell.
"Are you okay? " Alex took Evelyn's shoulder and helped her to sit up.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have invited you to come if you weren't feeling well."
"I am fine."
Malvin, who felt that he was in a bad mood, chose to immediately leave the place. However, his steps stopped when he saw Evelyn in front of the hotel ballroom again. He was seen being hugged by Alex and helped to sit down.
Instantly Malvin's heart ached again. Even though the woman didn't admit that she was Evelyn, but Malvin was sure, that he really was Evelyn. the woman he loved so much.
Malvin snorted and he strode straight past Evelyn without looking her way. Malvin looked up at Malvin who walked in front of him with a sick look. Malvin ignored him. Evelyn's heart hurt even more.
'Evelyn, what do you think? why do you have to feel pain? Isn't this what you wanted? Of course, Malvin ignored you because you said you weren't Evelyn. Malvin's lover. ' warned Evelyn.
Then Evelyn looked down and said, "Alex, I want to go home."
"Okay,"
"No, no ... you stay here, enjoy your show. I'll go home alone."
"How could I let you go home alone? I brought you here, of course, I also have to take you back."
Evelyn did not refuse, she walked in with the help of Alex who kept walking beside her and grabbed her shoulder.
"I'm sorry I messed up your show."
"It's not your fault at all." Alex shook his head. "Do you want us to go to the doctor first? Looks like we need to check on you."
"I'm fine, I just want to go home."
Alex could only agree without being able to force, he took Evelyn into his car and during the trip they just kept quiet. Evelyn leaned her head against the car door with her eyes closed. This made Alex even more worried.

Malvin went into his room at the hotel. He sat in a chair facing outside. He grabbed his wine glass and drank it. Dena just sat quietly on the bed.
Dena sighed tiredly, "Stop drinking, don't you want to have dinner?"
Malvin ignored him, he didn't answer Dena's question. He returned to pouring the wine into his glass and drinking it.
"Malvin, stop torturing yourself. Evelyn has forgotten you, she doesn't want you at all!"
Malvin stared silently at Dena. Instantly Dena felt her body tense. She closed his mouth tightly. She knew she shouldn't have to offend Malvin by mentioning Evelyn's name.
“What do you know about Evelyn? What do you know about her feelings?” Malvin continued to glare at Dena. Malvin knew and was sure that Evelyn could not have left her without a reason. Evelyn loved herself very much. Evelyn was even only loyal to her even though Malvin wasn't hers yet.
"You must know, our relationship was a mistake. I can never love you! and even though I have slept with you, you must always remember that it is only an outlet! "
Dena took a step back when she heard Malvin's words which pierced her ears. The words that Malvin spoke were soft but sounded like thunderbolts hitting. Very painful. Dena was speechless. She just turned around and left Malvin by slamming the door to his room.
Malvin returned to grabbing the wine and drinking it. From the beginning, he always felt that women's business was the most troublesome thing. because of that, he chose not to date. However, he had fallen in love with Evelyn and couldn't help it. Something that he thought was troublesome could actually be so painful than he imagined after he endured it.
Alex stopped the car in front of Evelyn's house. he looked at the woman next to him who seemed to have no more strength.
"Give me your house key, I'll open it first."
Alex helped Evelyn sit up straighter. Then he opened the car door and got out with the keys Evelyn had given him. Alex opened the door to Evelyn's house. After that, he walked over to the door where Evelyn was sitting and slowly opened it.
"Let me help you in." Alex rested Evelyn's head on her shoulders, and her left hand was ready to lift Evelyn's body. However, Evelyn shook her head lightly.
"Don't refuse, you don't even have the energy to say anything."
Finally, Evelyn was quiet, she accepted Alex's help to carry her body into the house. Evelyn was silent with her arm around Alex's neck.
