\"Mm. It's not him. Don't worry, I think I'm just a little paranoid.\" Xiaolei tried to give him a more convincing statement but deep within her, her own statement was also for herself. It was true that she was being paranoid. She knew that their lives now were completely different. She never crossed his path before in this life so he had no more reason to hurt her. Besides, he couldn't hurt her anymore even if he tried to because this time, she was not the old Xiaolei and she was no longer alone. Yang Jin, who was busy behind them, almost gave Gu Wei a round of applause. This singular species really had the guts of a cat that had nine lives. Nice going, Gu Wei…
