It was said that in order to produce this fighter jet as quickly as possible, the Alchemy Research Academy had mobilized no less than five arch-wizards and over a hundred official wizards.
“Esteemed Councilors, Master Dennis, may we begin?” the halfling girl had long been ready, climbing into the cockpit and strapping on her protective gear, and now she eagerly asked if they could start.
Lynn looked towards Dennis and, seeing his nod, signaled Lydia to commence!
The wizards present all turned their attention to the event, and even Dennis couldn’t help feeling a twinge of nervousness. Despite his confidence in his creation, this was the first time for a manned flight.
“Buzz~” With a deafening roar, Lydia pressed the ignition switch, and instantly, a long tail of flame shot out from two massive exhausts at the rear of the fighter jet.
The powerful thrust pinned the halfling girl hard against the back cushion, but Lydia, who had been involved in the creation of the jet, was prepared and kept her cool. She held the steering wheel tightly, maintaining balance.

“This is just the beginning!” Dennis shook his head. The new fighter jet had both subsonic and supersonic modes, and during takeoff, its speed was merely ordinary!
Meanwhile, thousands of meters above, Lydia, after a stable flight to fully adapt to the controls of the fighter jet, solemnly activated the supersonic mode.
The internal propulsion system of the fighter jet rapidly engaged, a large amount of compressed hydrogen-oxygen mix was injected into the combustion chamber, instantly ignited, and high-temperature, high-pressure gas burst forth through the conduits. Accelerated through the Rava nozzle, the velocity increased by several notches.

“Is this a sonic boom cloud?” Tim stared astonished at the spectacle, and though they had observed the phenomenon during wind tunnel tests, seeing it in person was still shocking.
Based on distance and position calculations, the flying speed of the fighter jet had reached three times the speed of sound, evident from the three prominent sound speed rings on its tail flame.
“Excellent, it looks like everything is going smoothly!” Dennis nodded in utter satisfaction. His biggest concern had been that activating the supersonic mode would cause the fighter jet to become unbalanced and crash, due to the tremendous increase in speed and the frightful wind resistance.
Luckily, Lydia’s exceptional piloting skills prevented his worst fears from materializing.
Next up was combat testing!
“Who among you will come?” Lynn turned his head to look at Harrov, Aurora, Vittorio, and Anthony.
This supersonic fighter jet was to be deployed in foreign territories for missions. Real combat exercises were crucial, especially the ability to counter legendary-level enemies, which was key.
The councilors were all quite interested in this new type of fighter jet, and Harrov, with genuine enthusiasm, was the first to offer.
No sooner had his words fallen than Harrov transformed into a streak of light and soared towards the sky.
Lynn nodded and simultaneously sent a message to Lydia through the magic network.
“Are we going to fight?” Inside the cockpit of the fighter jet, the halfling girl was not scared in the slightest; on the contrary, she was somewhat excited. She never thought she’d get to match skills with the Legendary Councilmen.
