The speed of supersonic fighter jets is extremely fast, allowing no room for any error. If the design of the shape is not reasonable enough, the sound barrier when breaking through the speed of sound would become a deadly blade, causing the fighter to lose balance or even tear apart, resulting in a terrifying air disaster.
However, Lynn was fully confident in the research and development of supersonic fighter jets, as he had avoided most of the potential issues in his designs, effectively revealing the correct solutions and saving decades of research and improvement time.
This undoubtedly seemed a bit like forcing the growth, but if the assembly were not facing a cross-realm war right now, Lynn would not have directly shown Dennis the most perfect fluid mechanics structures, as correcting mistakes is itself a very valuable experience.
Dennis memorized several design drawings created by Lynn, and even Lydia and others were no exception, as the shapes and structures of the aircraft on those drawings looked incredibly beautiful, pleasing to the eye, almost like works of art!
Tim hesitated for a while before saying somewhat worriedly, “Speaker Lynn, if the speed of the fighter jet is increased further, will the internal pilots be able to withstand it, or respond quickly during combat?”
“You’re underestimating the limits humanity can achieve; as long as they undergo appropriate training, enduring several times the gravitational acceleration isn’t much of an issue,” Lynn explained.
Before the Federation’s scientific researchers cracked genetic modification technology, the drivers of supersonic fighter jets were also selected from among ordinary people. Since they had no issues, not to mention the wizards with better physical strength and faster reaction capabilities!
The only concern was how the pilots could distinguish friend from foe while flying at high speeds.

In combat, a target that is linked to the magic network in the air is an ally, and all others are enemies to be dealt with.
“This way, we don’t need to worry about the crucial problem of enemy detection,” Dennis nodded, then continued to inquire, “Should we engrave Wind Protection Arrays on the fighter’s outer shell as usual, to slow down or eliminate the impact of shock waves?”
“No, we don’t need Wind Protection Arrays; that would actually increase wind resistance and thus decrease the speed,” Lynn shook his head.
Wind Protection Magic is useful because it operates by creating a cone-shaped, continuously rotating magic barrier in front of it, splitting the airflow effectively during low-speed flight, but not at high speeds.
Because the output speed of the magic power simply cannot keep up with the speed of the fighter jet, the barrier itself would also be continuously torn apart by the high-speed airflow.
Lynn then suggested that they could consider coating the shell of the fighter jet with graphene, which upon activation would form an electromagnetic shield around the aircraft, effectively defending against some lower-level magic attacks, and most importantly, preventing the pilot from external mental harm — the thing that fighter pilots feared the most.
After giving it some thought, Lynn took a blueprint, wrote down a chemical formula, and handed it to Dennis. “This is the production method for the Undying Flame; you might try applying it to the development of offensive weapons for the fighter jets, but… be very careful!”
Now that he had ascended to legend, chlorotrifluoride was no longer his most important means of attack, so it was time to join the tide of industrial production. Only large-scale production could truly unleash its power!
Dennis took it very seriously; he had heard of the horror of this stuff, which could devour almost any known element as nourishment.
Tim looked enviously at the blueprint in Dennis’s hand; the Undying Flame was one of the few means by which such great wizards could threaten legends.

After giving the chemical equation for the production of Chlorotrifluoride, Lynn did not forget another purpose of his visit to the alchemy research institute, which was to borrow a few half-humans to go outside the Space-Time Gate and liaise with Rafael and others.
For this, Dennis did not care too much, having Tim’s promise of full support, the assistance of these half-humans was dispensable, a few more or fewer did not matter.
Lynn left a book on Fluid Mechanics for Dennis to study on his own and then called Lydia, Darren, and others, telling them about the discovery of a half-human tribe outside the Space-Time Gate by the exploration team.
“Does that mean our ancestors might come from beyond the Space-Time Gate?” Darren asked in astonishment after hearing Lynn’s account.
“Indeed, it’s a possibility,” Lynn nodded and then, smiling, added. “But does it matter where they came from? The otherworld is quickly becoming a forbidden ground for all living beings…”
Darren and the others of course had not thought about following the footsteps of their ancestors back to the otherworld. The half-humans had rooted themselves on this continent for hundreds of years; this was their homeland.
“In any event, I need to select a few of you for a dangerous mission—to aid Master Rafael in investigating intelligence in the otherworld . . .” Lynn explained the target of the mission and the risks that could be encountered.
He did not force these half-humans, but followed the principle of volunteering.
After all, once they reached the otherworld, the council’s control over them would become very weak, the magic network could not even connect there, and Rafael could not cover everything, relying solely on conscientious behavior.
The half-humans hesitated, according to the Star of Magic, not only was the world beyond the Space-Time Gate very cold and sunless, it was also fraught with numerous dangerous magical beasts, and one careless moment could lead to death in some corner.
“Let me go!” Darren clenched his teeth, the first to volunteer.
