Both the percentages of Organic Phanerogam Lifeform and the Organic Crystals climbed higher, but the former continued to be faster and easier to raise as the Evolutius Crystal assimilation remained a tough one, but its results were always shocking ones.
Achilles looked at the 22 Middle Tier Lightning Treants as he went towards them first, turning their bodies into liquid goo that flowed into him smoothly.
After just 4 became assimilated, with each one granting a 2.5% addition to the percentage, this number was rounded off to 100% as once more, his body felt an explosive surge of power from the depths of his being!
But this…was the biggest one yet as it even exceeded the sensation when Organic Crystal reached the first Echelon.
It was Organic Phanerogam Lifeform…stepping into the Second Echelon!
Waves of green and blue lights covered his skin this time as the features of plants and lightning from the Lightning Treants seemed to be fully entrenched within him, with Rose watching this scene with great interest until the vibrant waves of light settled down moments later.
Even before Rose got a chance to ask anything, Achilles unbuttoned his white dress shirt as he caused Rose to blink multiple times, but he only took his shirt down to his shoulders.
On the back of his right shoulder, there was still the tattoo of the head of a spider with nine eyes that represented the Organic Arachnida Lifeform.
Currently, there was the addition of a tattoo of an Evolutius Crystal that shone with a distinct purple light, and the tattoo of a tree with branches of lightning was the most vibrant at this moment!
Rose ran over and traced these Tattoos with shining eyes as she asked.
"Never could I have imagined you with a tattoo, Little Fatty. In the future, are you going to be tatted all over?"
She asked while imagining Achilles with tattoos all over.
He shook his head while replying with a smile, his eyes observing the changes under the panel.
"You'll be the first and only one to know whenever I get new ones."
He stated words that made Rose harrumph with a happy smile, a few tendrils of flames dancing on her head while Achilles saw the changes on the Panel.
Organic Phanerogam Lifeform Echelon 2- Obtained qualities of Dermal Armor II, Regeneration II, Photosynthetic II, Lightning Physiology II, Abnormal Endurance II, and Vine Generation II
His eyes lit up brighter than ever as he saw the changes for stepping into the second Echelon of Organic Phanerogam Lifeform.
All precious qualities were heavily strengthened, and there was yet another addition of…Vine Generation!
He raised his hand and thought of this quality as, in the next moment, his palm had a fantastical green-blue vine emerge out of it.
A thick vine that crackled with lightning!
Its toughness alone should be crazy as the more he concentrated on it, it extended outwards and even divided into multiple other vines that floated in the air- almost as if just waiting for a command to strike out!
"Little Fatty, you may just become the most versatile thing out there…"
Rose marveled at the vines as she touched the base, which flashed with lightning.
Achilles knew her words would be true to a certain extent as his mind flashed with possibilities when he saw the vines he could freely control like an extension of himself.
If they could be considered extensions…
He looked at the many corpses of Middle Tier Lightning Treants and the massive corpses of the three Upper Tier Lightning Treants as with a thought, he made many more lightning vines that shout out rapidly and pierced into their corpses as after that…
A flash of brilliant light bloomed as 16 Middle Tier Lightning Treants turned into vibrant liquid goo that surged into him, and the three massive Upper Tier Lightning Treants also underwent the same process!
That was 48 Middle Tier Evolutius Crystals that added an additional 18% to the assimilation of Organic Crystals, and the 16 Bodies of Middle Tier Lightning Treants gave…
He drew a sharp breath at the percentage.
It used to be 2.5% for every single one when going towards the Second Echelon, and this was a decreased effectiveness by a factor of 8 from the 20% of going towards the First Echelon!
Now, from the 2nd to the 3rd Echelon…it seemed the effectiveness was further reduced by a factor of 16 as from 2.5%, a single Middle Tier Evolutius Beasts granted a gain of .15625%!
So all the 16 corpses together generated a total of 2.5% towards assimilation.
As for the three Upper Tier Lightning Treants, each one contributed .625%, bringing the total percentage to 4.375%.
"This one will be a bit difficult…"
Achilles sighed as he looked at the one area that he looked forward to viably completing soon.
The Assimilation of Evolutius Crystals towards the Second Echelon!
The 18 Upper Tier Evolutius Crystals added another 18% and brought the total to 46.5%.
He was nearly halfway there as at this moment, even though his body was filled with an overabundance of power, he didn't feel like any Meridian was awakening.
Of course, he didn't even have the knowledge of how, or whether it was a natural process.
But he was expectant of the Evolutius Crystal assimilation to the second Echelon as this may just be enough!
"Alright, we should be capable of taking down the Upper Tier Lightning Treants even faster…we will accelerate our progress and see what the process of awakening a Meridian actually needs!"
He looked forward to it.
And Rose was right beside him with the same expectations as both of their figures shot out into the depths of the Catacombs, the area ahead of them showing an even wider area with purple and blue crystals jutting out, the concentration of energy in the air…becoming increasingly thick!
