On the dazzling screens at the very top of the Overseer's Observatory, two images stood out among many.
Achilles gazed at both with a bright light in his eyes.
The first screen displayed the entrance to the Ethereal Catacomb guarded by the entity code-named "Monster."
This was someone Luna had identified as being highly likely to be a high-ranking figure from the Lunaris Colony Overseers.
Behind the entrance she protected lay a terrifying Apex Ethereal Physiology Behemoth- a creature so powerful that even this Transcendent Advanced Human had been unable to defeat it. The result was a stalemate where neither victor nor vanquished emerged as she could only guard the place, ensuring that the monstrous beast within remained contained.
The second screen captivated Achilles even more.
It depicted an incomprehensibly tall, flower-like mountain.
The Holy Hyacinthus Mountain Flower.
Located in the Cenotaph Wild Lands, this majestic wonder attracted countless powerful Advanced Humans, all seeking the unknown treasures hidden within. Yet, the true challenge was not merely reaching it.
Surrounding it were droves of Evolutius Beasts, and worse…there was an extremely high likelihood that Ancient Ones lurked within this region and inside it.
Aeonic Treasures and Ancient Ones!
These two often went hand in hand, and Achilles already had a plan forming in his mind.
Rose stirred as she continued sitting comfortably on his lap, her head still faintly glowing with green flames as she rested against his chest.
In the distance, Luna's voice echoed as she continued her report.
"These are the core details I have prepared for King Primal at this moment. I have additional folders containing more specific information, should you wish to go through them. I've already placed them in your lodgings."
Her voice was calm as she continued.
"For now, I will continue to gauge the reactions of the Lunaris Colony Overseers. By this point, I expect them to have already discovered the fact that multiple Apex Ethereal Physiology Masters have appeared seemingly out of nowhere."
"King Primal will undoubtedly fall under their radar," Luna continued as her tone sharpened with certainty.
"You are the only newly introduced variable, and I suspect they've already captured the events that unfolded on the surface of Fort Cape of Hope. Above the Colony City of Neon lies the Evolutius Eye Satellite that is capable of capturing anything within the vast city in extreme detail. Initially, I used this technology to observe King Primal and Miss Rose when you first moved about. However, I am certain that the Lunaris Colony Overseers have far more extensive access. Even though I set the parameters at Fort Cape of Hope to prevent any data from transmitting to external databases, I am confident that the originators of this technology can override these restrictions."
"As of this moment…" Luna's gaze sharpened. "We can expect the Lunaris Colony Overseers to have you under surveillance. Do you wish to take any action regarding this?"
Her tone shifted, as if a proud secretary was seeking direction from her superior.
Achilles, however, merely waved his hand calmly. He understood how people reacted when faced with unknown and unexpected variables. Most often, they would observe and analyze before taking action.
That was something Achilles currently had in abundance.
First, there was the task of Combination.
Second, he had to continue assimilating the Organic and Inorganic Terrestrial Planetary Body.
As if recalling something critical, he turned toward Luna and spoke.
"Evolutius Crystals. I need as many of them as possible. How can I acquire them through you?"
His words were direct, almost brazen.
The empowerments he had granted to Luna and others were beyond anything that Evolutius Crystals could replicate.
Luna's eyes gleamed with excitement, as though she had just received an order she was eager to execute.
"I will gather every single Evolutius Crystal I can through my authority as an Overseer of the Colony City of Neon. I may even justify it by claiming that the resources are required to heal King Primal, whose assistance prevented a Danger Level of Colony Destroyer. This excuse will also give me leverage to requisition resources from other Overseers…"
Luna's eyes shone with a crafty light, her mind already planning multiple steps ahead to secure as many resources as possible.
Achilles smiled and nodded, his heart feeling a sense of ease.
As he looked out from the top floor of the Overseer's Observatory, he saw how the rays of the sun were slowly dwindling.
In the Colony City of Neon, night was when life truly began.
Vibrant lights illuminated the city, while the bustle of vessels, people, and music normally echoing through the air.
Tonight was a night of mourning.
Tens of thousands had lost their lives in the most recent outbreak of attacks from Evolutius Beasts- beasts far more powerful than what the city's inhabitants had grown accustomed to.
A disaster had nearly unfolded.
Had one being not intervened.
His name now echoed across the city, passed along by countless lips and screens.
The scenes of his feats spread rapidly, making him a household name- but not only among ordinary humans, but also among those wielding profound power!
In a distant corner of the Colony City of Neon, where towering defensive walls shimmered with a purple luster.
Dozens of Evolutius Turrets and Plasma Cannons lined the many tall walls. This place was fortified like a fortress, designed to keep out, or perhaps, keep in, something far more dangerous.
And beyond those walls…
A single crimson, rectangular portal could be seen.

Her hair was melding into the night, her pupils even darker as her fair skin shone with a bright luster.
It was dark all around her except for the red glow of the distant portal and a few devices and screens that surrounded her.
She had a phone held up in her hands as she was talking to someone while looking at videos displaying the movements of none other than…Achilles!
