Rose was blinking with incredulity while she looked at Luna doing this, and this woman, whose power was increased many times over, began to speak.
"When I gained the Inheritance of the Daughter of the Moon, all those in my Strike Team died. I gained a lot of knowledge about the Ancient Times, but I only became unfathomably fearful because I now knew just what terrors would come. The Ancient Ones…some are benevolent and kind as the one I inherited from favors Humans. Humans that used to be Slaves before. She passed on some of her power to me before returning to slumber as she told me to get the humans here ready as much as possible to fight against what is to come, but I…I was still so scared."
Her eyes glimmered with the radiance of the moon.
He kept her arms crossed and her head bowed as she continued to speak out, her voice rising!
"So I went to the Lunaris Colony Overseers. I shared my knowledge as initially, they were distrusting of me and my power. But as I found a few Transcendent Humans, as we continued to make advancements to unearth a few Aeonic Treasures, and as in other Colony Cities, Inheritors just like me began to appear…I was able to make a breakthrough and attain a position of power. A Lunarian Enforcer Overseer…one of the 9 that oversee the workings of the Colony City of Neon. But even then, I was still fearful. I knew that whatever we needed to be capable of standing against the coming Ancient Ones, we had not obtained. I thought this…until I met you."
Rose's eyes became sharp the moment Luna finished these words, as it seemed like a confession was coming.
Achilles wrapped his hand around Rose's waist to cool her down as he knew from Luna that her words were purely based on a position of power.
If she also had some memories of the Ancient Times, then she was undoubtedly more fearful than him as her power was nowhere close to his in what it currently was…and what it could be!
It was understandable for her to be terrified and looking for something powerful as, at this moment…he became the target of her search.
She kept her head down as she continued.
"I know for sure you cannot be an Inheritor like me. I do not know if you do not wish to reveal which Ancient One you are, or if you truly are an Advanced Human who has fused with the power of an Ancient One. Whichever it is, I know you stand beside us as at this moment, I just want to know if I can let go of this terrifyingly heavy burden of weight I've been carrying. If you accept my Respect, I can then know I was able to find someone who had the power to fight against what was coming, and from the little you have shown me, you can empower Advanced Humans in fantastical ways. If you just…accept my Respect!"
She yearned to leave a heavy weight behind as her silver hairs, graced by the moon, shimmered!
Her pupils, which looked like small moons, vibrated as she waited for his answer.
And Achilles looked at her as he couldn't help but internally sigh.
He was no King, but for the future monstrosities that would wake up soon, he needed to not just find Ancient Ones to assimilate, but also unique Aeonic Treasures that the full organizational powers like the Lunaris Colony Overseers held.
He looked at Rose who did not fully understand the intricacies of what Luna's actions meant, but when he gazed into her eyes and told her that it was okay, she breathed out and nodded as she did not give any input.
And Achilles…activated Dragon's Haki IV as the skies in this enclosed space began to shake.
Luna felt a heavy, formless pressure descend as her heart beat loudly, her expression actually becoming that of joy while Achilles' voice echoed out!
"I accept your Respect."
He said so while Dragon's Haki was unleashed!
If Luna was to believe he was some Ancient Ones or the fusion of an Advanced Human and an Ancient One on their side, then let her truly believe it.
He'll put on a show if he has to!
He gave his affirmation as in the distance, Luna's shoulders visibly relaxed as while she bore a small portion of the pressure of Dragon's Haki, she raised her head as her silver pupils sparkled as she asked.
"If I may…how shall I address Sir? We had you codenamed as the Gravitational Anomaly initially, but I dare not impose something like that now. Just…who among the myriad wonders stemming from the Ancient Times are you? I understand if you cannot say, I just…"
Luna looked for his identity!
