After the conversation about the trip, we wait for Elisa to return to her bed and soon she appears, all downcast. There's no twinkle in her eyes and it scares the hell out of me, especially when she refuses to look at us or even speak to us, even when Jessica tries to make conversation, our girl doesn't respond.
Her friend explains that this reaction is normal and that we should give her a break, let Elisa herself initiate a conversation with all of us.
Soon Jessica says goodbye, saying that she will go to the day care center where Elisa works to report what happened and ask our girl's bosses for a work permit, and then she leaves.
Our stay in the hospital has now gone beyond twenty''four hours and we haven't even eaten or taken a shower yet, because we're all afraid of Elisa's reaction, whether it's an outbreak or an attack on her. Jessica commented on that, too. We don't want our girl to be disgusted with herself and try to take her own life. We don't want her to leave us, we all want her to smile again, to be happy again and we know we have a long journey ahead of us.

Three weeks go by and today is finally the day that our beautiful wife will come home. We prefer that she recover fully under the supervision of doctors and that's why she was hospitalized all this time, therefore, all the effort and dedication of our time to her was worth it. Well treated and cared for, it doesn't seem like we're facing tense days around here.
It was very difficult for her to urinate, every time she went to the bathroom she would cry in pain. It's been long weeks, seeing her suffer like this was something that made a big impression on us. We also didn't expect that Christopher would catch her trying to cut her right wrist and that we would see the doctors tame her to drug her and thus stop her screams. Seeing all that was a shock for us, because we always killed people without any mercy, we tortured them, but witnessing all that suffering of Elisa was horrible.
After that, I started to sleep badly. Every time I close my eyes, I see her dead in front of me, unable to do anything to help, I just can't stop her from committing suicide.
Elisa is in a very bad way and even during this time, we still haven't learned to deal with all of this. Seeing the person we care about try to kill themselves is terrible, I hate Sebastian for everything he did to our woman.
And twenty''four hours turned into a hundred, as we watched her non''stop, still moved by fright.
I can't see her that way, I can't see myself. Every time I'm in the shower I cry, I cry with rage for all the mistakes we've caused. We failed at everything, we failed Elisa, we failed too much. We didn't protect her and now she's suffering the consequences of our mistakes. And I can't stand it, I can't stand it.
Christopher signs her discharge and Jessica shows up with some new clothes for her to wear. On the way home, she doesn't say a word or look at us, she just watches the streets without expressing any emotion.
I hate those shitty bastards for doing that to her. Fucking hell, fuck!
I catch a glimpse of my brothers' faces and they still have the same expression as mine. Concern. I sigh and stare out the window, lost. All I want most is just to help and do the best I can.
Once we got to our house, we all got out of the car and headed inside. She doesn't say anything and heads towards the stairs, worrying us even more.
“Elisa. I call her, she turns to me and I swallow hard when I see her vacant eyes. “You need to eat something, my love. I say softly, giving a small smile.
She blinks her eyes a few times.
“I'm not very hungry, Thomas. '' Answers with a very weak and finished voice. “When I'm hungry, I come down to eat. '' Forces a smile and then turns his back on us, heading to his room, leaving us extremely worried.
I turn to my brothers, dismayed.
“It's going to be okay, we've all got the things that could be dangerous for her to try that again. Christopher says, but he doesn't seem to believe his own words.
"Are you sure about this, brother?" Lorenzo asks, his expression well finished. "Are you sure we got everything out?"
“I put security cameras in her room. “Dylan piques our interest. '' We'll keep a full eye on her, I even put her in the bathroom so we could keep an eye on her.
“That's good, at least we'll be a little more relaxed. I answer resignedly and turn my attention to the stairs again.
