The golden sun dipped below the horizon, casting an amber hue across the Sanatan Flame Sect. In the distance, the air shimmered with the final remnants of the great battle that had shaken the foundation of their sect. Now, peace had returned, and the disciples were hard at work, rebuilding the sect with quiet determination.
Elder Wu oversaw the reconstruction, his hands behind his back as he guided the young disciples. The clinking of bricks, the buzz of qi-powered tools, and the murmurs of teamwork echoed through the courtyard. Soon, Elder Liya, Elder Wan, and Elder Lin Shu arrived at his side.
"Most of the work is done," Elder Wu said, glancing at the rising walls with a hint of pride. "The sect is almost fully restored."
Elder Wan exhaled deeply. "Finally, the battle is over. Now I can focus on my alchemy again." With a grin as wide as a child discovering candy, he wandered off humming happily. The remaining elders watched him leave, sharing an awkward smile.
"Elder Wan is like a child sometimes," Lin Shu commented.
"Well, he isn’t that old," Elder Liya added with a chuckle.
"Indeed," Elder Wu nodded. "But to be so talented in alchemy at that age is truly impressive. His future is bright."
Just then, Wang Tian approached, carrying bricks in both arms. "Elders, do you know where Master is?"
Elder Wu replied, "Oh, the Sect Leader? He’s resting in his room. The battle must’ve taken a lot out of him."
Luo Chen joined them. "Master was amazing in the battle. He always is, but this time... it was different. The fury in his eyes, the power he unleashed, and the way he dealt with Gu Yang..." He paused, the memory still vivid.
They all briefly recalled the chilling scene where Shaurya tore off Gu Yang’s head. Even now, it sent shivers down their spines.
Lin Shu murmured, "I hope he’s alright..."
Elder Liya smirked. "Someone’s thinking too much about her beloved."
Lin Shu blushed furiously. "W-What are you talking about, Elder Liya?! It’s not like that!"
Luo Chen grinned. "Then tell us, Elder Lin. If it’s not like that, what is it? Everyone can see there’s something between you two."
Flustered, Lin Shu punched Luo Chen, sending him flying into a tree. The others looked on with awkward smiles.
Wang Tian sighed, palm to forehead. "When will this guy learn to control his tongue?"
He walked over to retrieve Luo Chen, who was hanging upside down from a branch.
"Why always me..." Luo Chen whimpered, cartoonish tears in his eyes.
Wang Tian grabbed his leg and pulled him down, letting him slam onto the ground. "Because you always say the wrong things at the wrong time. Chatterbox."
Meanwhile, Shaurya lay sound asleep, breathing calmly. The room was peaceful—until a familiar voice broke the silence.
[System: Come on, lazy host! Wake up! You always sleep like Kumbhakaran after every battle!]
Shaurya stirred, yawning. "Good morning, Systu... So how long did I sleep this time?"
[System: Four hours.]
Shaurya’s smile dropped. "FOUR HOURS?! Then why did you wake me up?!"
[System: Which Sect Leader sleeps all day?]
Shaurya stood and pointed to himself with both thumbs. "You’re talking to one!"

Lee Bie shrugged. "Let’s get back to work. This is normal now."

A golden portal appeared in the sky. The sect trembled as new halls emerged:

Elder Wu pointed. "Look! It’s the Sect Leader!"
Standing on the rooftop, Shaurya smiled wide. "Legendary Wolf Fenrir... Divine Flame Bird Phoenix... Legendary Primordial Dragon... ARISE!"
The ground trembled. City lords and distant cultivators felt the shock.
Three majestic beasts descended:
The white jade Wolf Fenrir
The fiery orange Phoenix

Shaurya hugged them like a child. The beasts transformed into adorable smaller forms.
"Alright, names confirmed," Shaurya grinned. "Fenrir is Arcarine. Phoenix is Blazejet."
Suddenly, from the main hall, a tall armored figure emerged. Wang Tian rushed and stand infront of Shaurya raised his sword defensively.
"Don’t worry," Shaurya said. "He’s not an enemy. He’s Hee La, brother of Hee Ta—our new sect guard."
Hee La bowed. Hee Ta approached, they both staring at eachother.
Shaurya thinks in his heart" Well I got them from systu. Hope they will behave like they are brothers."
The both Gaurds walks towards eachother and the brothers embraced.
"I was worrying for nothing," Shaurya smiled.
At the gate, Hee Ta and Hee La stood guard.
A stranger arrived. It’s the mysterious man who is finally arrived.
"I want to meet your Sect Leader," he said arrogantly.
"Name first. Then we’ll send word," Hee La replied firmly.
The man scoffed, releasing Core Formation Level 1 aura. "You expect me to wait? Your leader should greet me!"
Elder Wu saw the guards return. "Everything good?"
"Well... a weird guy came today," Hee La replied. "Said our Leader should greet him personally."
"Really? Where is he now?"
The guards pointed upward. Elder Wu looked confused.
The man slammed into the ground in the distance. His eyes spun, tongue out.
After sometime the disciples gathered.
The guy woke slowly—only to find Shaurya staring at him.
He jumped to his feet defensively, but froze when surrounded by powerful auras.
Shaurya asked, "Why are you here? Who are you?"
The man looked around nervously, then see Wang Tian who is staring at him. He got scared by Wang Tian gazed. But quickly recognise him.
With a dramatic yell, he dove and clutched Wang Tian’s feet. "Master! I finally found you!"
"WHAT?!" Wang Tian kicked him away. "What master?!"
On his knees now, the man cried. "Master, it’s me! Your loyal and greatest warrior.
Wang Tian confused " My loyal and greatest warrior"...
Then his eyes widened with shocking expression he said "Are you really... Sheng Lu!"
Shaurya blinked. "You two know each other?"
"Yes... he’s my general," Wang Tian said, dumbfounded.
"Brain-dead general?" Elder Liya remarked.
"Only one person called me that! Fairy Empress!" Sheng Lu gasped.
Elder Liya smirked. "Not your brain but At least your eyes are still sharp."
Sheng Lu with proudly said."No one can hide from my eyes. They are sharper than sword."
"Then why didn’t you see Wang Tian’s brother’s betrayal?" she added.
Sheng Lu’s face turned pale. "WAAAH!"
Wang Tian patted his shoulder. "Where were you all this time?"
"After your death, I fought with your brother. I killed his right-hand man... but I am to weak against him and died too. My soul slept for years. I awakened six years ago in my youth form. I sensed your aura and searched everywhere until I heard about this powerful sect. I thought you were seeking challenges here. Never expected you joined."
"Not just me," Wang Tian said, handing Shaurya a filled-out registration form.
"You’re joining too. From now on you will follow Master Shaurya."
Sheng Lu’s jaw dropped. "Master... has a Master?!"
He turned to Shaurya. If Master follows him, he must be something else...
Sheng Lu bowed. "I, Sheng Lu, accept you as my Sect Master."

Before Shaurya could read it, Hee Ta and Hee La returned.
"Master, we have another visitor. He says he’s the Third Prince of this kingdom."
Shaurya’s expression darkened. "The Third Prince? A royal? What does he want?"
Lin Shu answered, "We destroyed the Gu-Lin family. They were one of the top eight families. This might shake the palace."
Shaurya nodded. "Bring him in. Let’s hope... he hasn’t come to bring trouble."
