Caught in the Act
It hurt…
My head hurts…
“Is this a hangover?”
Shen Yin rarely drank, but last night, her best friend had egged her on, and she had gathered up the courage to drink a little. Then her best friend had also persuaded her to put on these shameful pajamas to surprise her husband.
She tried to remember what had happened last night, but her memory was fragmented.
The atmosphere in the dim room last night had been gentle and romantic. The scent of alcohol had lingered between the two intertwined figures.
Shen Yin’s mind was numb. She squinted to try to see the man on top of her clearly, but he suddenly pressed a kiss on her. Shen Yin, who had just caught her breath, immediately gasped.

However, the man did not go let her have her way. He moved his body away a little, only to see the person under him was twisting her slender hips impatiently. Her arms tightened and her warm lips urgently sought to kiss him again.
His lips curved as he smugly undressed her. He watched as she blushed adorably, her fair skin turning pink. His large hands roamed over her body. Every spot he touched instantly liquefied into bewildering softness.
The man could no longer restrain himself. The person under him even took the initiative to spread her legs and tighten her grip around his waist.
Satisfied, he accepted her enthusiastic invitation. He sank down heavily, and a crazy night began…
Shen Yin suddenly sobered up. She suddenly sat up and tried to look at the man beside her, but someone suddenly grabbed her hair and slapped her cheek viciously.
“Shen Yin! Have you no shame?”
Shen Yin had just sobered up a little and the sudden blow stunned her. It seemed to take a long time before she felt the pain. When she managed to raise her head with difficulty, she was shocked to see three people standing by the bed.
“Why… why did you hit me? What are you doing here?” This slap was so hard that Shen Yin had difficulty even opening her mouth to speak. The area of her skin that had been slapped was burning. She looked at Lu Chen pitifully. They had been married for so many years, but this man had always treated her coldly.
Lu Chen was in a rage. He grabbed her hair again and dragged her out of the bedclothes, then threw her violently to the ground.
He withdrew his hands in revulsion. He pointed at her as he scolded her fiercely, “Shameless b*tch, you’ve been fooling around with someone else behind my back. Look at you, how dare you ask me such a question? You are to leave the Lu family today. We’re getting a divorce!”
“What did you say…” Shen Yin looked down and saw that she had collapsed, naked, by the bed. Her fair skin was still covered in bruises and red marks.
“Shen Yin, I only allowed you to marry Ah Chen because you’ve always been submissive. I never imagined that you would do such a thing. You’re an embarrassment to my son!” Mother-in-law panted as she held her cell phone and pulled out the photos she had secretly taken.
In the photos, Shen Yin was lying lazily on the bed. She was stark naked and there was a love bite on her chest. Anyone who saw the photos would know that something must have happened last night.
The scene stung Shen Yin’s eyes. She reached out frenziedly to snatch her mother-in-law’s phone. She looked in panic at her best friend, Yun Shan, who was cowering in the corner.
“Hurry up and tell them that you forced me to drink. You told me to wait for Lu Chen here! Quick, tell them! The person last night must be Lu Chen, right?!” Shen Yin had pinned all her hopes on Yun Shan. She looked at Yun Shan pleadingly, but Lu Chen kicked her viciously. Her stomach twisted in pain, and she could only sprawl on the floor pathetically.
“What has this got to do with Shan Shan? You disgusting woman. Look at you now. The sight of you is revolting.” Lu Chen spat in disdain. “I have nothing more to say to you. You’ve betrayed me. We have no choice but to divorce.”
Lu Chen supported his mother and soothed her. “Mother, let’s go home first. Anyway, the evidence on your phone is conclusive. I’ll definitely kick her out.”
“You slut, even if you’re pregnant, the child might not be Ah Chen’s. What use are you!” Mother-in-law snorted coldly. She did not even want to look at Shen Yin again. She cursed at Shen Yin before following Lu Chen out of the room.
After they left, Shen Yin barely had the strength to prop herself up. She picked up the clothes that were scattered on the floor and numbly put them on.
The person last night was not Lu Chen… What had she done!
Shen Yin returned home like a zombie. She was there to beg Lu Chen and her mother-in-law for forgiveness.
She did not ask that they continue to accept her. But as the party in the wrong, she should apologize to the people that she had hurt.
The living room was empty. Shen Yin slowly walked up to the second floor and stopped in front of her and Lu Chen’s room.
Through the door, Shen Yin could clearly hear the sounds of romance from within.
The man’s heavy panting and her best friend’s gentle cries made her feel as if she was rooted to the ground. She could not move.
How could it be…
Her heart ached so much that she could barely breathe. She tried her best to force back her weak tears. Shen Yin raised her hand and pushed open the door forcefully. A pair of intertwined figures suddenly stopped moving.
Lu Chen stood up angrily and pounced on Shen Yin’s wrist like a violent beast. “Why did you come back? Didn’t I tell you to get lost?”
