"Isn't this an overkill for you to first cross the Transient realm?" Xia Shenyi asked narrowing her eyes. Zhao Tian got curious "What's this Transient realm?"
Xia Shenyi spoke clearing his doubts "You have to begin cultivation from scratch. The Transient realm is the first nine stages of cultivation you have to cross before reaching the Empyrean realm."
"Since your star is a middle star, there is not much astral energy to support the ascension of the Transient realm so I guess the Transient realm is the pinnacle of cultivation in this star."
Zhao Tian frowned "Is that different in your high star?"
This caused Xia Shenyi to chuckle "Yeah, since there is enough astral and life energy in the star...cultivators can easily ascend the Transient realms."
"You know what? Even the first stage of the Empyrean realm can kill the peak stage of the Transient realm with the flick of a finger."
Zhao Tian was dumbfounded "No wonder you are bound to this artifact and can only come out for a few seconds, a monster like you shouldn't be unleashed in this star."

Zhao Tian gave a nod "I am damn serious, I am a man... so it is obvious I should be stronger than my woman."
Xia Shenyi's eyes quivered in uncertainty hearing this but seeing his firm eyes a sigh left her lips, she brought her face closer and whispered seductively "When that day comes, I'll let you do all the things mentioned in that book."
With a faint chuckle escaping his lips, Zhao Tian's hands slowly went down gently groping her ass "This could be a good motivation for me to cultivate harder, so I can enjoy this seductive body of yours..."
His fingers sank into her plump ass and gave a nice squeeze relishing the softness. Xia Shenyi's face turned red as he kept molding her ass "Brat, you... are really naughty. Didn't you say that you wouldn't do those things until you become stronger than me?"
As Zhao Tian leaned closer, he tenderly pressed his lips against her cheek "I wouldn't cross the last line until then, but I will relish this beautiful body of my soon-to-be woman."

So this is the Honoured One's physique." she mused aloud.

"Zhao Tian, a born genius!" she spoke with a smile gracing her lips, her eyes fixed on the handsome young man cultivating under the array.
Her eyes gazed at the sky above and frowned "As I thought, this artifact produces limitless astral energy. It could persist even after I cultivated here for years."
"One in a masterpiece like this, who could have created this artifact?" Xia Shenyi pondered as her gaze swept over the pendant on Zhao Tian's neck "And who the hell is his father?"

A few hours passed and Zhao Tian blinked his eyes open revealing his blue eyes as a blue spark of energy passed through his eyes. "How does it feel after experiencing the taste of cultivation?"
Zhao Tian raised his head looking at Xia Shenyi and spoke "It's kind of boring to sit in a place and cultivate for hours honestly."
-_- What the? Seeing her stupified face, Zhao Tian laughed and stood up stretching his arms "Haah, by the way, I feel like I could cross the first stage of the Transient realm within two days."
Xia Shenyi spoke with a nod "I also noticed it, the speed your body absorbs the astral energy is just horrifying. But as it goes further, you will need a lot of time and astral energy to do breakthroughs."
Zhao Tian nodded his head "Well, that's obvious." he spoke and his mobile phone appeared in his hand from the space ring.

"You are about to leave?" Xia Shenyi asked hurriedly and Zhao Tian gave a nod "Yeah, I want to take some rest..."
At this time, an idea appeared in Xia Shenyi's mind and a small blush crept over her cheeks "Why don't you sleep here with me and leave in the... morning?"
Zhao Tian was surprised, sleeping here with her? "Sleeping means?" *gasp* "N-No, I didn't mean it like that. We can just sleep together. Nothing else." she spoke hurriedly clearing the misunderstanding.
Zhao Tian smiled faintly and nodded "Okay then..."

*creek* Opening the door, Zhao Tian and Xia Shenyi entered the room. Zhao Tian looked around the room and it was quite simple with a large bed, a small table, and two chairs in the corner.
Xia Shenyi settled herself comfortably on the bed, her gaze lingering on the vacant space beside her. With a gentle tap, she beckoned Zhao Tian murmuring. "Come here." Smiling, Zhao Tian lay down on the bed.
Xia Shenyi giggled and slept beside him on the bed. Zhao Tian turned his head and asked "Is this what you meant by sleeping together?"
Xia Shenyi smiled and did a playful roll, effortlessly closing the distance between herself and Zhao Tian. "Now, this is what I am talking about..." she spoke, her arms encircling him with a firm grip, drawing him into a warm and affectionate embrace. Zhao Tian reciprocated her embrace, holding her just as tightly.
Zhao Tian raised his hand, gently caressing her hair, while Xia Shenyi lay there smiling, her eyes fixed on his face. "I am glad you came into my life, Tian."
Hearing her start speaking, Zhao Tian raised an eyebrow "Really?" Xia Shenyi giggled her fingers caressing his face "You don't know Tian, I am stuck in this artifact for a long time... I even lost the count of years."
"Seeing the same thing day after day for hundreds of years, just cultivating without seeing any humans. Being alone for years and years with no one to talk to... Sometimes I even thought of crippling my own cultivation and committing suicide."
As she reflected on the past, a surge of intense emotions caused her eyes to tremble uncontrollably. The memories flooded her mind, reminding her of the dark days she thought of even taking her own life to end this nightmare "I-I was on the verge of losing my sanity, Tian.. I would have lost my mind and I-I..."
He silenced her with a gentle hand on her cheek "Okay, okay... now I am here, right?" Zhao Tian softly whispered reassurances against the storm brewing within her.
Xia Shenyi's eyes moistened with tears and she vehemently nodded her head "Yeah, yeah... you are here. You don't know how happy I was when I accidentally left this place and saw you."
Her voice choked with emotion "I-I got a little hope that I am actually not alone and.. and...*weep*" She could barely speak, words choked by sobs.
"Yeah, I know, Shenyi. I am also so happy to meet you, Shenyi. Without you, I would not know about myself, this special physique, and all about cultivation. I am so glad you came into my life."
Xia Shenyi's eyes widened in astonishment, her breath catching in her throat "R-Really?" Zhao Tian nodded with a smile "Yeah..." he said, sealing his words with a tender kiss on her forehead.
Xia Shenyi's eyes softened "Then I'm happy too," she whispered, a fragile smile curving her lips.
Zhao Tian smiled and continued comforting her. He didn't expect the always smiling and teasing Xai Shenyi would have a sad side to her. But again thinking about it, living in a damn place without human interaction and nothing for hundreds of years is really hell. (A/n: Heaven for introverts. lol)
