Duncan turned back and shot another arrow, hitting the enemy’s abdomen. Yet, the opponent didn’t even grunt, instead retrieving another hand axe with a backhand. He was prepared in advance; the Franks favored throwing axes, but the Saxons were not adept at it.

Duncan rolled sharply, the flying axe landing where he had been, embedding itself in the soil.

Duncan nimbly retreated, leaping down the slope, pulling back his bow once more.

In the darkness, Duncan, naturally endowed with ’Dark Vision,’ moved like a butterfly among flowers. Stepping aside and thrusting, his blade pierced the enemy’s right shoulder.
The outcome was decided.
Blood Axe - Nidhron had both legs and one arm disabled.
In just a few exchanges, this beast-like barbarian warrior had stumbled, losing all the initial terrifying momentum.
Duncan didn’t engage him head-on at all.
The Frankish throwing axe flung out sharply, hitting his opponent’s chest from less than five meters away.
Bloody foam spewed violently.
Blood Axe - Nidhron could no longer move, half-kneeling on the cold ground, looking at Duncan with a face full of indignation and fury.
His frenzy state was likely about to end.
He wasn’t dead yet, purely because of his frenzy special ability. Duncan stood still, shooting three arrows in quick succession, finishing him off, and only after he was near death did he retrieve the beheading axe embedded in the trunk.
