Nightingale calmly told him, "We're just looking for materials. Someone else will complete the wand-making…"
"Who? When it comes to making wands, who can compare to me?" His neuroticism began to flare up again.
"Wand-making is an ancient and profound art. Only I can create something comparable to the Elder Wand. Only I can do it… only I!"
A look of madness appeared on his aged face. "Who did you find to make the wands?"
Without waiting for them to answer, he continued with disdain and contempt, "The traditional European faction represented by the Ollivander family is nothing but conservative—not innovative. If you went to him, that would be a huge mistake.
"That fool Gregorovitch has a bit of creativity, but his desire for fame and fortune surpasses his dedication to wandcraft itself!

The old man used his trembling hand to push aside his robes and pulled out several differently shaped wands from the swaying leather pouch at his waist. "Aren't you here for wands? Then I'll show you what true legendary creations look like…"
He carefully took out the first wand, holding it reverently to show them.
"The body is made of ancient cypress wood, with a Thunderbird tail feather core. The amber embedded in the wand's head contains the remains of ancient insects. When used to cast natural magic, its effects far surpass those of other wands.
Only one step remains—injecting the user's blood into the vascular channel to complete it."
The second wand: "A spine-shaped wand body carved from self-healing yew wood, with a universal core made from the heart tendon of a mountain tyrannosaurus. It still needs to be soaked in Mooncalf blood for a year to be completed, but even as a semi-finished product, the defensive magic it casts is already exceptionally powerful."

"Ahahahaha! It can perfectly adapt to every kind of magic. It is my peak creation, painstakingly crafted…"
"What it lacks is a master who can absolutely control it." The pride on the old man's face gradually faded. "No one can control it—at least, not yet…"
He looked at the two young people before him and said something that surprised them both. "If you can control it perfectly, I am willing to offer all my achievements with both hands."
"Is that so?" Sagres picked up the translucent immortal flower wood wand and immediately felt its uniqueness. He casually cast a few spells, and the immense power secretly surprised him.
Nightingale asked the old wizard, "What counts as perfect control?"
Old Erios's eyes went blank, and he suddenly laughed. "Ha, he has already done it…" The old wizard wore a lonely expression. "An ordinary wizard would fall into madness the moment they picked it up, because it amplifies the desires in people's hearts, making them unable to cast even the simplest spells…"
"Heh… yes… how ridiculous… I created a legendary wand I can't even use myself… BUT YOU!"
Black veins had already extended to his throat, and his aged body was rapidly being corroded by the powerful curse.
He squirmed and pulled out a crystal bottle, collecting a drop of his own turbid tears in front of them.
"YOU! Take it… all my skills and research… they're yours…"
Sagres and Nightingale looked at him calmly, making no move.
"Please… help me… even if it's just finding anyone… as long as it can be passed down…"
Sagres finally nodded. He reached out and took the small bottle, acknowledging for once, "Indeed, it is a brilliant skill, and it should not disappear with you in this dark ruin."
Black veins had already appeared on his face.
He endured the pain and pointed at the Everlasting flower wood wand in Sagres's hand. "One last request… kill me with this wand… with that beautiful flame magic of your…"
Sagres did not respond. Seeing this, the old man earnestly said to him, "I have lived for one hundred and thirty-one years… countless people have died under my wand… undoubtedly… I am a complete scoundrel… but for the sake of these wands… please fulfill this small request of mine…"
Sagres finally, slowly, pointed the wand at the old man's chest.
A white flame ignited from the wand tip, instantly engulfing the old man completely.
Then he silently waved the wand, and a small pit immediately appeared in the ground.
Nightingale tossed in a few tiny ashes, along with the wand Erios had used, and buried them. Sagres also summoned a stone slab to serve as a tombstone.
Nightingale carved words into the slab with her wand:
The grave of a wicked man, The end of a legendary wand maker, Later comers, Never take Philk Erios's bone-and-blood wand out of greed, otherwise, you will invite evil retribution!
After completing all this, she stood up and exchanged glances with Sagres. "So, we have now achieved our goal?"
"I think so…" Sagres scanned the surrounding environment; he had actually discovered it long ago.
This was the place mentioned in the prophecy.
The hidden door to the north contained the objective of their trip—some rare materials for making wands—though they were clearly no longer needed now.
Sagres put away the Everlasting flower wood wand, then handed the twin cherry wood wand to Nightingale. The other two unfinished wands also had their designated owners.
The matter had come to an end. It was time to return to Hogwarts…

Note: Hey readers! Just a quick heads-up — the wand was originally called Immortal Flower Wood Wand, but a friend of mine had a bit of cultivation PTSD (understandable, right?) so I decided to rename it Everlasting Flower Wood Wand starting 13 chapters ahead on the Pat tier.
I've come back to fix it here, but if you still spot a few stray "Immortal"s instead of "Everlasting" up to the next 13 chaps, just pretend I wasn't being lazy! 😅
