Gao Ming and the giant tree took away the door. There were two sides to the door. One side was normal. The other side was covered in blood vessels and roots. Through the normal door, one could leave the nightmare. However, one could fall into a deeper nightmare through the other door. Gao Ming was given the choice, so he was not in a hurry to leave.
“Compared to Jiang Miaomiao’s nightmare, this manor nightmare is more stable due to the door. It is more than enough to sustain the flesh tree. This is a chance for me.” It was hard to do anything with Immortal Pharma watching. However, the appearance of the manor nightmare gave Gao Ming this possibility. In Immortal Pharma’s records, he had only been to two middle-layer nightmares, but he was actually more experienced than most. “I can even form my own team. But the premise is I can trust them fully.” Gao Ming looked at the other side of the tree. The injured Bai Feng was wrapped in leaves. “I need to send her out as soon as possible.”
After consuming the fruit, Gao Ming exuded an imposing aura. He was like a demon born from the nightmare. He was more suited to inherit the manor nightmare than the original owner. “I think you’ve misunderstood something. I am different from those things behind the door. Like you, I am a human.” Gao Ming saw the despair on the man’s face and chuckled sadly, “I will not harm any of you. If possible, I’ll try to look for your dad, who has gone missing inside the door.”
The owner didn’t react. He probably had been fed too many lies.
“I will temporarily use your nightmare and brain. After I’m done with my own chores, I’ll wake you up to reunite with your family,” Gao Ming explained patiently, “If not for us, the thing behind the door would still be tormenting you. In a way, shouldn’t you thank me?”
“What?” The man glanced at the roots and vessels all over him. His eyes shone with derision. “Hypocrite.”
“Stop acting. After you swapped with Qian Jin, where did you put his soul?” Gao Ming grabbed Qian Jin’s head. He placed a rapidly growing root before his eyes.
“I hid it inside the snowman. It is in the backyard.” Qian Jin said weakly. Hearing his voice, the nightmare owner was enraged. Even if his arms were torn apart, he wanted to kill the other party, “His body is ruined. He can’t leave this nightmare anymore.”
“What else do you know about the world behind the door?”
“Do you want me to die?” The ghost possessing Qian Jin was not scared of the nightmare owner, but he was fearful of Gao Ming.
“Sometimes, being alive is more painful than death. The choice is yours.” Gao Ming said that easily. That was not something a teacher should say. After he ate the fruit, he started to change back to his real self.
“There are many deep-level nightmares. No one knows which nightmare has channels that can connect to another world. However, you can look for the imprint of the butterfly. If the butterfly imprint is there, it’s very likely that nightmare connects to another world.” Qian Jin fell to the ground. “I’ve entered that world. I know the way. I can give you guidance. “That was how he tricked me. I trusted him. Look what happened to me,” The nightmare owner reminded Gao Ming. He regretted not killing Qian Jin.
Gao Ming sent Qian Jin deep into the tree. Gao Ming let go of the nightmare owner and brought him to the lake shore.
The changes at the east lake were so huge that they were impossible for the other testers to miss. It was not a good idea to trap them in the nightmare. Immortal Pharma would only send in more testers.
“I can’t show myself. It’s better for me not to reveal my connection to the tree.” Gao Ming carried the nightmare owner. “I can protect your family and your dream. I hope you can…”

“I can do that for everyone but Qian Jin. His soul has been bound to the nightmare.” The nightmare owner discussed with Gao Ming as they slowly approached the shore. They didn’t go to the port but to the forest.
Once the owner left the lake, the doll and the mother sensed something. They raced through the snow. Even the owner revealed a smile for the first time. The reunion lightened the mood. Gao Ming looked at them but was considering something else.
“I have an impression of my parents. Are they trapped in the nightmare?” Gao Ming couldn’t remember their names or faces, but he was sure his parents were still waiting for him. No matter what, he wouldn’t forget that. “My parents must have done something amazing for me to remember them so deeply.”
Gao Ming was certain that he once had a warm family life. It was that beautiful memory that fueled him to venture deeper into the nightmare.
