Situ An had a deeply buried secret. He should be the only person in Han Hai who had actually left Han Hai. He knew what the world outside of Han Hai looked like and knew the truth about this city.
“The lifeform that is the combination of the real world and the shadow world has arrived. The cruellest bloodred city owner has predicted the truth. When the shadow fully covers the city, is becoming such creatures the final fate of all the inmates in this city?” With Lu Zang’s guidance, Situ An knew more secrets than most. The shadow world was murdered by the joint effort of all the bloodred city owners. They left behind Han Hai as a cage to wait for something to appear.
If fate were a tree that grew into the galaxy, the different worlds would be the canopy of leaves, and individual fate would be the leaf grains that grew based on decided tracks. The thing all the bloodred city owners were waiting for was the seed, a seed that could drive all the city owners insane.
Situ An only knew the partial truth from what Lu Zang told him, but he guessed the seed had to do with fate’s murder.
“I shouldn’t overthink.” Situ An didn’t chase after Gao Yun. He turned to Xia Yang. “We are both Gao Ming’s prisoners. Why don’t we work together to escape this place?”
Collapsed in the mound of flesh, Xia Yang ignored Situ An. He mumbled to himself, “It’s still too far from the definition of perfection.” Xia Yang, who cradled his broken arm, lost his smile. His eyes overflowed with disappointment. “Is this the extent of God’s creation?”
Situ An grasped Xia Yang. His eyes burned with murderous intent. However, he soon realised that other than himself and Gao Ming, there were many strange drawings on Xia Yang’s body. They included the Red Spectres and a lot of divine figurines. The latest ones were the God of the Past and the God of the Future!
It was not that Situ An didn’t want to kill Xia Yang, but he was worried that if he did, other strange things would escape from his body. “Gao Ming is about to be here soon. We still haven’t fully severed our connection to him. I’ll bring you away from here.”
Since Xia Yang didn’t resist him, Situ An picked him up. He was not helping Xia Yang out of the kindness of his heart. He did this because Xia Yang’s body was covered in paintings of Gao Ming. He planned to use this to deal with Gao Ming.
“What if he has seen the future?” Situ An stepped on the pieces of the God of the Future, “Even the God that controls the future is now dust. Do you think I’ll be scared of him?” Situ An never thought he was a bad person because as long as he had power, every sin could be edited and erased. The biggest sinner was always the one who lost.
“If that’s the case, why do you need to run?” The disappointment in Xia Yang’s eyes dissipated. His desire for the perfect creation deepened. His heart yearned for more.
Situ An didn’t object. He picked up Xia Yang and ran out. Both of their bodies had been ruined. They only had lingering souls. If they wish to move freely after leaving the anomaly, they have to find people to possess, just like Gao Yun did.
“You can’t escape… I told you…”
“Shut up.” Situ An knew that once the God of the Future’s death realm collapsed and Gao Ming fully recovered, he could instantly sense his location. Therefore, he needed to run as far as possible before that happened.
“Situ An is not chasing after us. We can rest for a while!” Xi San, who originally ran at the front, was left at the back. He had good stamina, but it was incomparable to Fan Li and He Jing.
“He’s not chasing us?!” Fan Li, who carried the baby, paused. He looked around nervously. Then, he gasped, “This is bad! Xia Yang is still back at the underground parking lot.”
“We’ll have to trouble Teacher Xia a bit for Gao Ming’s sake.” Xi San slid to the ground and gasped for air. He really couldn’t run anymore. “They are both monsters. They are a match made in heaven.”
“Stop spouting nonsense.” Fan Li frowned as he looked at Xi San’s hand, which he had kept in his pocket until now. “What is in your pocket? No matter the danger, you haven’t pulled your hand out before.”

Fan Li frowned deeper. At that moment, they heard a sound coming from a room not far away. It was not easy for them to escape from the underground parking lot. However, another danger was coming.
The door opened, and two citizens with white student council badges walked out. They smiled when they saw the baby in Fan Li’s arms. “Thank you so much for fetching the president out!”
“Could they be secretly working for Situ An?” Xi San whispered to Fan Li.
“We were arranged to wait here by the president.” The older woman was very gentle. To gain Fan Li’s trust, she took out a letter from her pocket. It was a guarantee written by Gao Ming. The bloody brand resonated with the blood in Fan Li’s heart. “The horror game players are the student council’s strongest ally. We’ll help you leave this building.”
“You know how to leave?!”

His actual body is permanently trapped inside a cycle of pain.”
The more they proceeded, the greyer the room numbers. Cursed corpses appeared on the ground, and among them were broken pieces of school uniforms.
Fan Li picked up a piece of bloody school uniform. “This is similar to Gao Ming’s uniform. Has he been here before?”
