Chapter 62 Walker Herbert's Fiancée
Just as Dana was immersed in the touching sentence that her professor said, Walker suddenly spoke.
"Seat belts."
"Oh!" Dana cleverly fastened it.
The traffic in Progress City was a bit congested at this time, but that's okay. Dana is sitting in a comfortable and luxurious car, feeling warm, so she has no complaints at all.
Just then, Walker's phone rang.
Dana also looked at the man subconsciously. The man held the phone in one hand and picked it up with the other hand blankly. When his cold eyes looked the screen that was vibrating fiercely, his expression became unfathomable.
"Hey."
The man just watched this for a second, then pressed on to answer.
Dana who was sitting next to him, felt that the atmosphere suddenly became gloomy.
"Walker, I'm back."
On the phone, even if it was fuzzy, she could tell it was a woman's voice. Dana Roosevelt didn't know what she said specifically, but only heard Walker's answer.
"And so?"
"I'm busy now."
The atmosphere in the car was a bit depressing and Dana didn't deliberately listen to other people's conversation, but desperately reduced her presence.
"Walker, I just want to see you. We haven't seen each other for many years. Now, is there not even time for dinner?"

"I have an appointment today."

The answer to her was three busy tones. Not even a farewell was given by Walker. In the car, Dana Roosevelt saw him hang up. Carefully, with the clear eyes of a fawn, she looked at him tentatively,
"Mr. Herbert."
"Yes?"
"Are you okay? What's the matter?"
Suddenly there was a call, and the teacher seemed to be in a bad mood.
"If you have anything to do, don't waste time for me anymore. Go ahead--"
Dana Roosevelt thought that the one who called her now was the woman before, but who knew that as soon as the words were spoken, the man's face suddenly sank.
"I don't need you to influence my arrangements."
Dana was silent.
The girl was inexplicably fierce, and she was instantly unhappy. However, it is not the first time she witnessed this man's bad temper, so she just doesn't care about it.
There was a traffic jam which lasted for nearly twenty minutes. Dana was already sleepy. Without her knowing, she fell asleep leaning on the back of the chair and the man in the car's cell phone woke her up again.
This time, Walker Herbert didn't pick it up directly. Instead, he just looked at the screen and didn't hang up. In the silent space, the phone continued to vibrate. The noise was evident making Dana slowly opened her sleepy eyes and asked in a daze.
"Teacher, are you not going to answer it?"
With a long tone echoed and Walker directly hung up. Dana didn't understand what was going on anymore, but it didn't take long for the caller to call again.
This time, Walker answered. "What's the matter?"
Erin Kit's voice was anxious.
"Walker, where are you now? Something happened to Manny!"
Vaguely, Dana heard that someone seemed to be in an accident. She saw Mr. Herbert's handsome face that never had any expression, suddenly became gloomy for several shades. Then, he quickly hung up the phone.
"Dana." The man said to her.
"What?"
The reaction of the girl who has not yet woken up was still a little slow. In a daze, she heard the man's low-pitched sentence, and she hadn't realized what was going on.
"I can't accompany you today, sorry."
When Walker said this, Dana's mind was completely blank for that second. After a few seconds, she reacted.
"Oh, Don't be, it's okay. Teacher, you are already busy."
"Can you drive?" Walker Herbert asked.
"What?"
"I will leave the car to you so you can go home first."
"Oh..." Dana was flattered, but she refused.
"No, teacher. Just drop me down at the intersection ahead. It's convenient for me to take a taxi by myself! Besides, your car is so expensive, if I scratch it, how can I compensate?"
Dana muttered to herself and her words fell into the man's ear.

Dana got out of the car and stood at a block. Walker finally agreed to put her down on the side of a road and she stood here waiting for his driver to pick her up. The surroundings were noisy. In her heart, she savored the endless aftertaste of his words.

While Dana was at a loss, Walker drove forward without a word. Finally, he stopped next to a hospital, the man walked upstairs without saying a word.
"Mr. Herbert."
The people in the hospital respectfully greeted him. "Please follow me."
In the ward, the man's face seemed to be condensed into an ice ball. The door was pushed open, facing the beautiful, pale, and weak woman sitting on the bed.
"Walker." Manny Brown saw her and there was no surprise in his eyes.
Walker expressionlessly, "What's going on."
The woman didn't say anything, she just jumped off the bed and hugged Walker's waist.
"Walker, I knew it! I know you won't leave me alone, Walker..."
Manny Brown said, about to cry, as her hands were also tightly hugging his waist. Her cheeks pressed against his chest as her eyes brimmed with unshed tears.
Walker frowned, his face expressionless, and straightly lifted her away from him.
"Since you're okay, I'm leaving."
"Walker!"
Manny Brown panicked immediately when she heard that he was leaving.
"Walker, where are you going!"
"You just came, why are you leaving now?"
Manny Brown hugged him, unwilling to let him go.
"Or, are you reluctant to give it to me for half an hour now?"
"Walker..."
Manny Brown said, crying unconsciously.
"Anyway, I am your fiancée..."
Dana waited on the road for a while. After a while, a blue Lamborghini was in front of her.
"Hey, Dana." Someone teased her with a nice voice.
Dana looked up and looked at the man sitting in the car, a little surprised.
"Erin Kit?"
"Yeah, get in the car!"
The smile on the man's face didn't diminish, but in his heart, he was so angry that he wanted to scold his friend
'Damn, this Walker Herbert. How dare he used me as a driver!'

Dana Roosevelt was sent home by Erin. Originally, she wanted him to drop her off to the gate. However, Erin said he was thirsty and had to go upstairs to drink water. Dana agreed. After all, this is Walker's home and he is Walker's friend. From her standpoint, she can't say anything. So, she can only go upstairs with him.
"Oh, wow." Erin couldn't help but praise as soon as he entered the door.
"This guy, has a lot of money and his nowhere to spend it, tsk tsk."
Dana didn't know what to say. She sat on the sofa, a little restrained. glanced at her and saw that she didn't speak and couldn't hold back.
"Hey Dana, why aren't you speaking?"
"Which is the room where you two slept?"
When Dana t heard him say this, she stood up and blushed.
"Wh-what's our room? Where's our room? He sleeps in the master bedroom while I sleep in the guest room!"
"Really?" Erin Kit listened, looking at her thoughtfully with a smile.

After the man finished speaking, his tall and oppressive height was already standing in front of her. Dana stepped back, her legs softened, and she slumped directly on the sofa behind him.

She saw Walker standing there ruthlessly in a suit. The man opened the door for the first time. It was Dana Roosevelt who was pushed down on the sofa by Erin. while Erin was looking at her closely. Walker's handsome face suddenly became gloomy and dark.
