Chapter 6 Teacher-Student Relationship
Dana Roosevelt's mind was blank now.
She never thought of the box Mr. Herbert gave her was full of these things!
Wasn't this tantamount to letting everyone know that she, Dana Roosevelt has a sex life?!
Sure enough, someone in the crowd soon began to talk.
"Hey, look, that's Dana Roosevelt!"
"Yes! A famous beauty in the finance department. But didn't she just had a break-up? How could she have these things?" another one blurted.
"Tim Petty didn't give her the contraceptive, did he?"
"No, you see, there was still money, a lot of money!" yet another one butted in.
"Well, couldn't she have been a mistress?" One intriguingly added.
Dana turned completely pale when the word mistress came out.
She never thought that one day she would be so embarrassed. There were at least fifty classmates there. She stood here, sprinkled with contraceptive and ambiguous red dollar bills.
"I didn't expect how Dana usually got so much money. Gee, I thought she was clean!" another one said.
The discussion that was getting worse and worse was getting louder and louder.
Dana's fingernails were about to be pinched into the palm of her hand. She threw the money at the head of Walker's bed this morning.
Just when she was very embarrassed, a male voice as low as a cello came from behind.
"Why are you all standing still? Are you going to cause a traffic jam?"
Cold slightly with a trace of stern male voice sounded for a moment, the original twittering talk immediately became silent.
As soon as the onlookers saw that the new professor was there, they all shut up and dared not speak.
Walker was carrying a briefcase and a suit. Because of his appearance, almost everyone looked at him.
Except for the skinny girl with her back to him at the moment.
Walker took a blank glance at something on the floor In front of Dana.
"Instead of being curious about other people's privacy, you might as well read more books. You all think that finance was very simple, don't you?"
So many people took a cold breath when they all brushed in an instant.
He continued, "Finance is definitely not a kind subject. It does not only need a strong high mathematical foundation to support many theories but also models, which are abstract and unnecessary.
I heard that half of the students fail every year in Progress University."
When the students heard this, they immediately ran away with their books in their arms and dispersed as birds and beasts. In less than a few seconds, the corridor which had been so noisy just now suddenly became empty.
Only Dana and Walker were left, and the light at the end of the corridor shone on them.
Walker's face was expressionless, and his black high-end, shiny, hand-made shoes walked towards her.
The black suit slowly bent down and squatted down on the noble body of Dana.
He was just about to help her pick up the things on the floor.
Who knew, but before his hands touch those things, Dana bit her teeth, she ran out with tears in her eyes.
She runs away like a gallop.
At the Night bar.
Here we go again, Dana Roosevelt.
She drank a glass of pure spirits at the bar, and she poured it unscrupulously.
Although she had done something unpleasant because of getting drunk yesterday, now she did not know what else she can do except get drunk.
"When I lost my precious virginity, I found that the one who had sex with me was my own teacher.
Tim Petty and Lily were showing off again in my world today.
Even the contraceptive there ruined my reputation! How could I be so unlucky!"
She was in a terrible mood.
Dana thought, a little teary-eyed.
Just then, however, at the door of the bar, a group of businessmen in black suits came in.
You can see at a glance that these people are definitely not small.
Walker just glanced lightly in her direction and saw a girl standing at the bar, holding the bar in one hand and a wine glass in the other.
The man's face darkened and went straight in her direction.
"Dana Roosevelt."
A few words of low indifference.
When Dana heard this, the familiarity made her cry out in a conditioned way like during the day.
