"You?" The man smiled.
"I."
The girl's face was red now.
Dana was very embarrassed after her thoughts were discovered.

"Dana, you have to be nice to yourself and treat yourself better."

"Are you going to your routine check-ups over there? What did the doctor say?"

Dana didn't know what to do.

The man's voice was as deep and nice as ever, "Go in."
Dana pushed the door in and saw the man who was working in the study. When he saw her come in, he stopped tapping his fingers on the keyboard.

Dana frowned, "I'm okay. Can't I go here?"
He pursed his lips. "Well, you can."
Dana walked over and sat down on the sofa at his desk. She rested her elbows on the armrest of the couch and stared at him for a moment.
She didn't speak, and she looked a little depressed.
Walker looked at her for two seconds, and then he stretched out his hand towards her.
"Come here."
Dana blinked, "What are you going to do?"
The girl had walked over. The man's fingers then held her wrist.
He pulled Dana over and then took her into his arms. Dana sat on his lap, and the girl hugged him.
"What did your dad tell you? Why are you so depressed?"
The girl leaned her head on his shoulder and smelled the unique masculine scent of him.
Dana's straight black hair fell on his clean shirt. She looked beautiful and pure.
Walker's voice was calm as he spoke, "Did he scold you?"
Dana didn't answer his question. She only hugged him.
The man frowned because of her current state. He raised her chin and forced her to look at him.
"Speak."
"No, he called and asked if I was about to have a wedding, and he wanted to give me a gift."
"Well, then?"
Dana looked up at him, "Then he said he hopes I am happy, and he wants to watch me marry happily."
The man was not surprised, "Well, what are you sad about then?"
Dana replied, " He said he realizes he owes me the most, but I don't want him to apologize or admit his mistake. His words do not negate what he owes me."
She leaned on his shoulder so that he couldn't see her face now.
She heard him say calmly, "But you still feel uncomfortable, bitter, and you don't know what to do, don't you?"
