I looked behind me. Ah, the robot, yet again with his criticism. What's with him today? To think I was actually starting to assume that he was manageable enough to handle these days. Guess I was wrong. Or was it one of his mood swings again? Whatever. I sighed, before retorting sassily, "Oh great. And what color does your highness think is best?"
"Blue." Eion the robot shrugged. “And why are you even here? Were you sick yesterday?”
"I just recovered today. And you're an expert at picking colors, huh?" I asked, now irritated at him.
He scoffed, "I was just saying what I thought was best..."
"Then go ahead and tell it to Aunt Maggie. My choice of color is just an opinion. You're making it a big deal." I scowled at him, "Oh wait, you make everything a big deal."
"Whatever," he said before he headed towards Aunt Maggie.
“I actually wanted to thank you for helping me yesterday at the shop, but I think I don’t have to now,” I said to him.
"Well, I don’t need your thanks anyways,” He said.
“Good.” And with that, I just turned around to look for Hannah and Luke when Dax and Leroy blocked my way.
"Hey, Snow," said Dax. I grunted in reply.
"What's with the bad mood?" Leroy asked.
"Nothing. Ask that friend of yours. I can’t seem to understand him, one minute he’s nice, and the next thing I knew he tortures me," I scowled. “What's wrong with that robot?!"
They just glanced at each other, exchanging secretive looks before staring back at me, both of them smirking.
I frowned. "What?"
Leroy's smirk turned into his usual goofy smile, “That’s a cute nickname you give him.”
I deadpan, understanding what he meant, trying to explain myself through my voice didn't sound as confident as before, "It suits him. He's just like one. Completely nil in the feelings department."
"Oh really? Sounds like something else." Dax teased, wiggling his eyebrows at me.
I sighed heavily, giving up on talking to these two, "Please stop with that nonsense. I asked because he glares at me every chance he gets. Not that he didn't like me from the start, but now it's turned into complete hate. I can sense it!"
Leroy clucked his tongue at me, "My dear Snow, you should really open your eyes once in a while."
"If you only knew...." Dax trailed off.
"Uh, what exactly are you talking about?" I asked, only receiving teasing glances, "I'm sort of freaking out about the way you two are acting..."
"You'll eventually figure it out," they both said before walking away, leaving me dumbfounded.
"You're supposed to answer me, you know!" I angrily called them.
Leroy only glanced back to give me a goofy smile before they slipped around the corner.

Right after that incident with Dax and Leroy, Aunt Maggie decided we'd be going back to the mansion for lunch. The whole ride back, my mind has been trying to comprehend their words.
"You'll eventually figure it out."
"Are you alright?" Hannah asked, interrupting my thoughts, reminding me that I was in fact sitting at the table, eating lunch. I looked around quickly to find everyone chatting and eating. No one seemed to pay any attention to me except Hannah, and I was thankful for that. I nodded silently, not wanting to talk.
"Is something wrong? You look bothered ever since we left the shop," she asked, her eyes filled with concern. I respected her for that.
"I was just....thinking," I answered, not wanting to worry her further.
"Oh. Okay..." She murmured, unconvinced, but she seemed to pick up that I didn't want to talk about it.
We were in the living room when Leroy and Dax approached us. Eion followed behind silently, not bothering to give us a glance when his friends greeted us.
"Hey, guys!" Leroy says cheerfully as the three of them sit on the couch in front of us.
"So how's your day been, Snow?" He asked, making small talk. I shrugged before glaring at him secretly, he only responds with a goofy smile that irritates me further. He knew I really had a bad day talking with his friend Eion and he just pushed it further. Leroy just turned to them and chatted with Hannah and Luke, knowing that I wasn't gonna talk.
"I'm hungry." Dax blurted out suddenly.
"No one asked, Dax," Leroy gave him a pointed look. “And we just finished eating.”
"But I want desserts! Who's hungry?" Dax asked despite what Leroy said, giving me an expression that clearly said 'help me.
"I am," I spoke up, siding with him. I really was hungry, as a matter of fact.
"Me too," Hannah agreed, and his brother too, "I'm in.”
We all turn to look at Leroy who huffs before giving in, "Okay okay, you win. What about you, Eion?"
Turning to Eion to wait for his reply, he looked lost in his own world before he was asked, so he only shrugged in response. Leroy sent me a teasing look at which I raised my eyebrows in confusion, but he only looked away, pretending it never happened.
Ugh! What is wrong with him?! Leroy is really annoying with each passing second.
"Where do we go to eat then?” Asked Hannah.
"To the ice cream shop!" Dax immediately replied, grinning from ear to ear. "Emma is going to be there."
I resisted shaking my head at him. He still hasn't gotten over her. Well, Dax is right though. Emma is working there since it’s Saturday. Gosh, what would be Emma’s face when she saw me with these bunch of guys there?
"Is it open?" Leroy asked me despite the fact that the owner himself is just beside him. I nodded my head in response to him. Nodding, he yelled at us, "Who's coming again?”
At his question, we raised our hands like kindergarteners before we burst out laughing. Except for Eion of course.
"Well? What are we waiting for?" Dax asked, already leaving for the car park so we followed him. He’s really that eager to see her, I just laughed.
