"I'm breaking up with you," Zeus said to Yara without any hesitation.
"You what?" She beyond belief asks him after what she heard to his mouth the words that she doesn’t want to hear.
Yara and Zeus are in two years relationship. They're both famous since Yara is a queen bee and Zeus is one of the heartthrobs. Even if he’s not participating in any extra curriculum on campus, he's being famous and is still shouting through his body.
He’s been more popular when he meets the maiden. But because she’s a queen bee and him being a heart-throb as the student says they are always in the headlines of the campus newspaper, whatever the school doing to gain more money. And that makes him sick.
He hates attention, and he hates being famous. It’s not his intention that everyone will notice him but why are they still noticing him? He only wants Yara, his girl. He only wants her not her popularity. But it’s hard to ignore that because it's already attached to a woman's name.
At first, it was ok for him. But when it takes long, his personal life is affected by it to the point all of his friends are being followed by the school reporter, and he's pissed. He endured it all because he loves Yara. For more than two years he let them follow, and chased him, even if he was going to pee, fart, or poop. They still reported it.
"I said, let’s. Break up. Let's split our way."
"Why? Did I make something wrong, baby?"
"Nope."
"Then why? What’s the reason?"
"Do I need to emphasize my reason?"
"Baby, is it because of Avel? I told you, Avel and I are not dating before. It’s for the headline only since he's an MVP. You’re my first boyfriend, my first kiss. They just add Avel to our issue so that they have gossip about the school.
"I don't care about Avel, I want to break up with you, simple as that."
"But, Zeus, I love you. I do, I love you, baby." He removes her hand from his face.
"I thought we have the same feeling. But, I realized that what I feel is just an infatuation."
"Zeus?"
"I don't love you."
"Did you forget our happiest memories, Zeus? Everything we did? And our matching tattoos during my eighteen birthday, we make it as a sign of our love."
"I'm planning to remove mine."
"Zeus."
"Let's end this and go back to Avel."
"No, no please, I need you. Do you want me to prove it to you? Fine, I am willing to give you my virginity if that's what you want." He secretly balled his fist. Her presence is enough to make him go crazy, and now she offers herself to him. He doesn’t need to send himself to the heat of his body or else it will ruin their study.
"I don't need you. I am saying this, not to hurt you but I want to be honest with you." Yara hugs her but he keeps removing it.
"Zeus, please, don't do this to me. I need you."
"Goodbye."
"Zeus! Zeus!" he’s not listening to her. “I need you, Zeus, I need someone right now! Please come back.” Yara sobbed, And he left her without even giving her a second look.
