HIS PROPOSAL
"You like being the center of my world right?, Like making me become worried over nothing, always making me to act like a teenager who has no control over his hormones, is that it?.
That's all you want and I am so glad for you that you have been getting all you wished for, now if you would tell me why you have been ditching me", his tone changed.
She had been limp from him touching her, suddenly she could not speak, she could only stare at those delicious sensual lips of his while they opened and closed.
"You can't talk?", he quirked the side of his lips upwards.
"I am, I can, you would have told me you planned all these out with Mrs Margaret, and I was a little dumb and foolish for not knowing why she would suddenly send me to your reading room, something she has never done before", she replied in an almost throaty voice.
"She told you to help her clean up because you asked her if there was any other chores that is still left to be done...., so she only told you to do it because you asked for it.
It wasn't planned, maybe she doesn't know I was around, but even though she knew and only tried to send you in, maybe it's because of how stubborn you would act towards her if you knew I was in the room.
So either ways, she's got a big mouth, but she is also smart, but that is not what we are going to discuss about, now I want to discuss about us, what's the way forward?", his brows creased.
"Way forward?, what way forward?", she divulged.
"What's the next step in this relationship of ours, right now we ought to be talking about marriage, then the next step would be talking about making babies and you know....", he sauntered.
"Ohhhh, with you and who?", she spat.
"Who else, if not Miss Janelle Parker, you know I can't wait to claim what's mine, I don't want to sound like a caveman and please don't make me to".
"Firstly, get your hands off me, secondly we need to discuss, I didn't even plan on seeing you today, but since you are here already, or rather both if us are here, I think we need the discussion.
You know if you had told or rather ordered me to come to your room, I would have given you a Savage reply and say something like, ' I don't think my work requires me attending to you privately, it doesn't sound rude, but that would be my reply"..

He let go of his hands from her while she stood upright adjusting her dress properly, since his hold on her had hiked up her dress and showed what would have been called inappropriate in the eyes of the public.
"Why didn't you come for the Thanksgiving Sunday Service?, What made you not to?", she asked with her hands on her waist.
"We won't discuss this Janelle!!, if you had asked me all these earlier then I don't think we would have been here rattling and chirping like birds or would we?", he asked
"We would have this discussion", she snapped.
"We won't, but if you want to have this discussion, then maybe I would leave this reading room for you, so you could discuss with the books, journals and magazines in here, but me?, No I won't go back to the past, I want a way forward".
"I am sorry for not coming on time, I am sorry for not having dinner with your family, but I am not sorry for spending some fun time with your mum, she was so fun and nice to be with, those little time I spent with her made my love for black women to escalate.
She's so fucking nice, sorry for using the ' F ' word, but that's the best possible way I could express myself", he wheezed.
Janelle trembled, now this was one thing she loves so much about him, he is so kind, so understanding, so loving, so ready to forgive and not like her shitty self.
Now she feels like she isn't good for him and would rather want him to be with someone more perfect for him, she walked up to him, "I am so sorry, Rashid, I should have asked you, I should have check up on you, please forgive me, I would never ever do something to hurt you again, I am so fucking sorry", she began sobbing against his chest.
"Ohh baby, please stop, it's okay", he cooed.
"No it's not, please just let me cry, I am so shitty and fucking messed up, I should have asked you all these earlier, but right now I fucking don't care why you missed the Thanksgiving Sunday, infact I am happy that you missed it, at least it taught me so many things.
Please forgive me, I promise I won't ever mess up big time again", she cried, wetting up his vest.
He kissed the top of her hair, "It's okay Janelle, unless you want is to start a crying competition, I would love to though", he smiled.
"Ohh no, don't even do that, you would sound like an ugly goose", she chuckled at the same time hiccuping.
"Yeah, I know but if you know how your face looks like right now, I bet you would look for tissue and wipe off the tears straining to run down your lid", he laughed.
She hit him hard on his chest, "You jerk", she giggled.
"Is that the only name you've got?", he raised a brow.
"I don't want to unveil all of them, would love to take everything slowly", she guffawed.
"Of course, I know you sassy mouth", he teased.
"Now back to business, I would be travelling back to Qatar by next month, my work here is done, the company is growing, it's rehabilitating and so my Dad needs me to come back", he explained.
Janelle stilled, she wasn't expecting him to go that quickly, "Y-yo-you would be tra-travelling?, I mean.... is it that quick?...
You just came here like few months past", she lamented.
"It's more than a year, going to three months, so it isn't that quick", he said.
"And you can't stay for another four to five months, please stay I promise to make it up to you, I have been a very wayward lady and I promise to change all my ways and make it up to you if you stay an extra month for me.
I know the reason why you want to go is because you are bored of me", she sighed.
"No come of it Janelle, it's not that, it's just business, that's why I added an extra month, because I want to spend an extra time with you.
I have plans for us, but I don't know if it would sit well with you.
While I am going back to Qatar, I would be gifting them with my success here, the company has been rejuvenated and it's really flourishing, we are getting investors from outside and within, but if I could surprise them with another gift I would be happier.
I don't want to rush you really, I want you to take your time, go to school, I know it would take time but......
"Say it", she interrupted him.
"You are not ready for it, so I don't want to scare you off", he insisted.
"Say it", she maintained.
"I love you", he declared.
"You know I love you too, infact I love you more and I'm in no mood for argument, but we both know that is not what you want to say, so I am going to give you another chance to say it", she smiled.
He kept silent, "I'm waiting", she blurted.
"Marry me", it wasn't a plea, it wasn't an order, he just didn't know how she would react to it, it was more like a statement.
