****DANIELS' POV****
Not hearing from Janelle for a very long time, felt Soo.. different.
I was not enraged no, I was mad at the obvious thought that she had forgotten me.
I felt so tempted to call her, but on the other case I decided to let it rest.
We had been friends, since she came to Florida, I wondered why she had began acting distant towards me.
I felt maybe it was because of the last session we had talked together, maybe she was embarrassed about it or she just did not want to talk about it.
I remembered her last words to me, " I love you so much, Daniel, I really do", she sounded tipsy, but I did not want to believe that she was drunk.
I wanted her in all ramifications.
She was my first crush, but I never got to tell her or even give her an idea that I was falling for her.
I never wanted people to know, because she is black.
Most of my close male friends that had ended up eating a black girl, are still traumatized over how they had talked about them at their back.
I, Daniel, never wanted that for myself.
I finally got her attentions, when we had gone for a tour at a ranch.
We were in the same team, it had given me a chance to talk to her, but what made me angry is the fact that we never talked again.
It was a particular Friday afternoon, when I was asked to stand up in front of the class to solve a mathematics question.
I was really a dumb head, back when I was in highschool, and Janelle being the best mathematics students was the only person who could bail me out.
I had asked and pleaded with her to tutor me, since then we had grown so find of each other.
Our fondness for each other was not going the right way, I had expected it to be the cross-relationship type, but it was just a casual friendship.
I had tried all I could to change the direction our friendship had taken but it never happened.
At the end of the day, it always ended with, "goodnight friend", she had friend zoned me.
I felt really hurt, until the night she had called me and told me she was in love with me.
I was damn happy, although at first I was angry it took her so long to find out she was wholeheartedly in love with me.
We had also sex chatted.
After then, I heard nothing from her, maybe it was high time I gave her a call.
I wanted a perfect time, to give her that call, a very perfect time, when we could have all the time to ourselves.

Daniel jumped down from the kitchen counter, after he had made himself sandwich and whipped vanilla cream.
He looked at the cell phone, thinking how he would go about his call with Janelle.

Janelle came back from Rashids' house more frustrated than the last time she came there.
She entered into the house and was about climbing the stairs when she she heard a loud noise coming from the kitchen.
"Damn Steff, are you there?", Janelle asked.
"Booom", Steff shouted frightening Janelle who was already in shock.
"Babe, what was that for?.
You scared me, what the fuck!!", She snickered.
Steff started laughing, "babe you look so worked out, is it the work or something else.
Don't tell me you have been popped", Steff said.
"Ohhh do not say that, please!!.
The work was just too much and that fucking annoying...
"Handsome, sweetpie, who kisses you senseless", Steff replied her as she arched a brow.
"What are you saying?", Janelle asked.
"Yoo, I know when a girl glows differently and right now babe, you glow differently.
Anyways just go and freshen up, food has been prepared", Steff said.
"Ohh babe, I love you so much, the house just glows differently", Janelle said.
"Just like you glow", Steff added.
Janelle only laughed at what she said, she ignored her and ran all the way upstairs to her room.
When she was in, she banged the door shut as she hurriedly removed her dress.
She was about to go in and take her bath when a call came in.
She wondered who was calling her by that late time of the day.
She insisted on going to take her bath, after she was done, she came back only to still see her phone ringing.
She went across and took her phone, she checked the caller, it turned out to be Daniel.
She picks it up, immediately.
She waited for him to talk first as silence ensued with no one talking to each other.
She became so impatient that she wanted to hang up, just when she was about to do that, he spoke up.
"Hey janeyy, how are you doing?", He asked.
"I am good, I thought you will never speak up, I am so busy though and I just wanted to go and read for my forth coming exams.
If you don't mind, can I call you later?", Janelle requested.
"Janelle!, What's wrong with you, are you seriously avoiding me now, after everything we shared and had together.
You feel you can now ditch me huhh?", Daniel bit out frustratedly.
"Daniel??, What's wrong?", Janelle asked calmly.
"You are scaring me with this your strange behavior, you are acting strange, are you tipsy?", Janelle asked.
"Sooo... Now it's all about Daniel being drunk, when you called me the other night and we talked about so many things, you never thought I could be tipsy, now... I am now tipsy.
See Janelle, I don't know what went wrong but you just can't call someone, confess your love to him and later start acting like you were being forced to do that.
I had waited so long for you to realize you truly and really did love me.
I don't know why it took you so long to find out, and when you finally found out you are in love with me, you told me which I accepted.
Now, you are trying to ditch me, where does this happen Janelle, where?.
Have you found someone else that is making you to forget the real person you love.."
"Hey Daniel, enough of that, I never for once had any feelings of love for you, apart from the friendly one.
If you are going to sit down there and keep talking nonsense, you will give me no other choice than to cut the call", Janelle replied him.
"Janelle have you also forgotten our session together, don't tell me you have", he muttered.
"Daniel which session are you talking about, I can't even remember talking to you, since I left Florida, I can't remember both of us discuss something as intimate as you talk", Janelle scoffed.
"Sooo that's it, you are finally denying me right.
Before you drop the call, I just want to let you know that you will regret what you did today later.
I won't tell you how I would do that, I just want to let you know that I got my eyes on you.
I will make sure I hurt you in an agonizing manner.
The pain it would bring to you, would be so excruciating, and you will have no one to stay with you by your side, when that time comes.
I just decided to warn you, so just be expecting something worse from me" with that said, the call dropped.
Janelle laid on her bed, trying to remember when she ever had an discussion with him, apart from when she was still in Florida, but nothing came to her mind.
"Or maybe, he is mistaking me for someone else, or maybe he is just tipsy", Janelle thought.
"Or maybe he is just letting his obsession for you, take the better part of him", Janelle's mind said.
Janelle grabbed her robe, put it on and left for the dinning room.
