Chapter 24
"Because we are protective of you and God bless anybody thinking of stealing you away from me" he chuckled darkly. His voice dropped low, rougher, and deeper yet conveyed a positive message to Angelina.
Angelina was shocked at Nathaniel's admission, her lips parted a little with reddened cheeks as she looked away shyly.
One day, he's going to give her rise in BP with his words and actions.
Nathaniel felt content and happy, he was the only one who could make her blush over time although he hated how she hid from him. He sighed, his emotions were always over places whenever he was with her. Then brought her face towards him caressing her crimson cheeks with his knuckles.
Her skin was soft like a baby's skin, her plump lips were inviting him to take a lick and her innocent eyes watching him intensely made his body hot under the cool weather.
"I don't regret what I say because I fucking mean it and God be my witness. God bless whoever thinks of taking you away from me" he admonished, spoken with the intensity of his unraveling emotions while she shivered, gulping hard as she wetted her dry lips which didn't go unnoticed by Nathaniel whose eyes were on her lips.
How he wished it was his lips she wetted!.
How would it feel? tastier and juicier than anything ever.
And he was ready to dive and explore the taste.
Yet… He didn't want to scare her away with his emotions…
…. Because his emotions were always heated whenever he was with her.
…. And she was the only one…
… His angel.
"You are hurt?" Angelina made a statement, drifting him from his lustful thought. He blinked his eyes more than twice before seeing her checking his opened knuckles in concern. He has forgotten he was wounded when he was busy reshaping the man's face earlier. He felt the tamed anger brewing again to go back and finish him but was calmed by Angelina's melodious voice.
".... And there's no first aid box here" she mumbled in a worried voice as her brows dampened in concern. She was feeling guilty, she was the one who caused it as she continued to torture Nathaniel's poor soul by furiously biting her lower lips in guilty.
Nathaniel breathing ragged, desire pumped through his vein to his groin as he felt his junior steering to life.
Oh no, he can't deal with a raging boner now, he reprimanded himself, trying to adjust his pants not to make it noticed. He stretched his hand and released her lip from the claw of her teeth, rubbing the bruised lip softly.
She blushed, giving her lips a lick as she turned her full body to Nathaniel, taking his hand then taking a look at it. She inhaled and exhaled, bending her head and blowing air on the opened wound which tickled Nathaniel. After blowing air on it, she brought the hand to her lips and kissed the wound.
Nathaniel's body froze, the small action did a lot on his body, a spark of desire sizzled around his body, adding fuel to the flame as his body felt hot. His stomach flipped as his heart skipped a bit. He never felt this reaction with Clara. Maybe it was infatuation he had with Clara but with Angelina, it was pure ecstasy. Everything felt real with Angelina, the smile, happiness, and joy but with Clara, it was forced. He needed to know what Angelina, with the matter of time he knew her, he knew she was a materialistic person but everything with Clara was money and money then he didn't care about it. Angelina was well-mannered, caring, kind, and attentive. She smiled politely to everyone, cared when he had a small wound that he had forgotten about, was kind to someone like him who humiliated her then always listened attentively. What more could he have asked for nothing more because he was his true fairytale.
He needed Angelina to talk about what she wanted and what she desires because he was always clueless when it came to her everything came naturally. He could give her the whole world but he knew she would prefer a kitten then that.
Well, money was not everything and everything wasn't based on money.
Angelina released his hand when she was through. Her father used to do that for her whenever she wound herself back home then her father used to say a blown air and kissed makes a wound painless and heal faster.
She grinned cheekily at him, seeing his eyes on her, "my father used to that whenever I have a wound" she filled him in, tucking her hair behind her ear as she lowered her head, "And I think that will be good" she said in a small voice while he cleared his throat.
"Ah…. It's nothing" he reassured her when he saw her making it awkward, "this is just a peak in the iceberg if this action is what I'll be receiving whenever I wounded myself, then I will be delighted to be your number one patient" he boasted, smiling widely.
Then he did the least expected thing by biting his little finger a little hard yet not to draw blood.
"Aw" he cried out in fake alarm, "I'm wounded nurse Angel" he showed his little finger to Angelina, "please do blow it for me".
She laughed at his childish antics, waving her hand, "No, I'm not blowing anything" she said, whipping her head away from him.
"No..?" he gasped, feigning hurt by holding his chest, "I'm wounded and you promised to always blow my wound away to make it heal" he pointed an accusing finger, faking seriousness.
"What?!" she exclaimed, "Me?... When? I never promised that!" she argued.
"You did!".
"No".
"Promised what?" he raised his brow.
"Promise to always blow your wound better" She stated, folding her arms together.
"See.." he had a triumphed look on his face.
"See what?.".
"You said it a few seconds ago that.." he raised his hand in an air quoted, "promise to always make your wound better" he mimicked her voice, smirking slyly at her.
This cunning man! she screamed internally, he made her say it.
"No, I didn't" she denied, shaking her head.
"Yes, you did".
"Are you a baby?!" she screamed frustratedly.
"Uhn Uhn" he grinned cheekily, shrugging his shoulder unsure. "I didn't care to be a baby as long as I'm your babe" he winked at her making her flustered.
Is he flirting with me?!, she released a shrill sound in her head as her eyes widened.
She swallowed the giddiness she was feeling then huffed as she glared at him, taking his little finger, blowing it then kissing it.
"Satisfy?" he released his finger, biting the side of her cheek to stop her from blushing.
I kissed the finger that has been in his mouth! oh my...oh my... Indirect kissing! she felt herself getting dizzy her thought, bringing her hand to trace her lips because it was the first thing she got closer to exchanging saliva kisses.
She had never been kissed before?!.
She turned her embarrassed face away from him.
Is she shying away now? Nathaniel thought, shaking his head as he brought the kissed finger to his opened lips and licked it sensually, and at that moment, Angelina turned her face to him then caught him.
Oh my God, she fainted!.
