Camilla Cortes' Point of View:
The smile on my face only got bigger as I opened the door to my apartment. Alex wasn't home which I suppose was a good thing since it gave me some time to think about how my weekend went. I went into the kitchen and got myself a glass of wine. I needed a nice distraction, so I decided to cook a nice dinner for Alex and me. I couldn't help but have my mind wander as I gathered the pots and the ingredients that I needed. Last night was amazing and I had never had sex with someone just hours within meeting them but he was just so good and different.
The way that Luke made me feel was something that I had never experienced before. It was new yet so familiar that I couldn't help but want more of it. It was kind of addicting and we haven't even known each other that long. We only met a day ago, but I swear it felt like forever.
After he went to make breakfast, I took a quick shower and dried my body gently. I didn't have any of the self-care products that I would normally use so I was in and out fast. Threw my hair into a ponytail and made my way over to the bed where I noticed a simple female outfit laid out on the bed. I mentally thanked him for thinking of getting me clothes because I sure forgot. As I reached for the bra my insecure side peeked out and I began to wonder who these clothes belonged to and if they belonged to a lover or even worse a girlfriend.
As I brushed my hand over the material, lost in thought, I felt a different texture and looked down. There was a tag on the side of the bra showing that it was actually new and most likely has never been worn. I checked the rest of the outfit and surprisingly enough they all had a tag on them. I can't believe he got me a new outfit, but I must say I'm grateful that I won't have to do the walk of shame. That would've just been too awkward for me.
After putting on the clothes I gathered my things and headed downstairs. A soft melody reached me as I searched for the kitchen, this really is a big house, I could hear someone rapping. I followed the voice until I appeared in the kitchen where Luke was rapping softly with his back towards me. He set the spoon down that he had in his hand and turn around.
His cheeks reddened as he noticed me standing there, "how long have you been standing there?" he asked nervously.
"not long," I smiled "you’re really good...don't stop"
He smiled at me as he took the bag from my hand and set it down on one of the bar stools in the kitchen. Taking hold of my hand he twirled me around the room all the while rapping the lyrics to me.
"I want you forever even when we're not together, scars on my body so I can take you wherever like," my back was against his chest as he said murmured the rest against my hair.
"I want you forever even when we're not together Scars on my body, I can look at you whenever," I turned around to face him once again absolutely taken with the way he moved.
Machine Gun Kelly and Camilla Cabello were my absolute bias, so I knew the lyrics to the song right off the bat. Leaning into him I sang the chorus, "Am I out of my head? Am I out of my mind?"
"If you only knew the bad things I like, don't think that I can explain it what I can say, it's complicated. Don't matter what you say, don't matter what you do"
I pecked him on the lips as I sang the end to the chorus, "I only wanna do bad things to you"
The smirk that was on my lips widened when I saw the look, he gave me, "let's eat"
I slowly blinked my eyes as the memories of the day faded into the background of my mind. A smile broke out when I heard the front door open, Alex is home.
"Mama where you at?" she called out to me.
"In the kitchen," I yelled "I'm making your favorite"
"You got the wine out, this should be good," she laughed, and I turned to look at her. I was surprised to find her in a long t-shirt and sweatpants. Her hair was in an extra messy bun and her face was completely bare. It was obvious that she was just getting in because normally she wouldn't be caught dead outside without a little gloss on her lips.
"Nice of you to come home," I laughed.
She rolled her eyes and took a seat on one of the chairs, "as if you didn't just get here today too"
I dished out some of the pasta on two plates and handed her one, I also gave her a glass of wine and sat across from her with one of my own. She was halfway through the pasta when she finally spoke, "so..."
"How was it?" I asked her before she could beat me to it.
She grinned and clapped her hands together while giggling. I was so shocked because she never acted like this, not about a guy anyway.
"It was amazing, he was amazing," she sighed.
"How was it for you?" she asked the grin still on her face.
"It was great, he even made me breakfast and sang to me for a bit, we also talked for hours just getting to know each other"
She snickered, "he cooks, and he sings, you better be careful mama he just might steal your heart"
She went back to eat but I froze at her words. I don't think she realized it but her words hit me harder than they should have and it’s all because I really thought he could steal my heart and that terrified me.
