Qin Mu anxiously struggled to free herself from his restraint as she spoke.
Mu Yichen, however, didn’t continue speaking but instead walked ahead of her.
"Hey, Mu Yichen, don’t just walk off on your own, my car isn’t at your place."
Qin Mu suddenly remembered she had taken his car back last night and immediately chased after him.
In the morning, Qin Mu went shopping at the mall with Helian Hao, and as they walked by the scarf counter, Helian Hao suddenly stopped and said seriously to Qin Mu, "I have something to tell you."
Qin Mu instinctively looked up at her: "Speak!"
Helian Hao looked serious as if she had something important to share, prompting Qin Mu to blink with curiosity.
"Jing Feng proposed to me!"

"I didn’t accept his proposal!"
After saying this, Helian Hao looked up at Qin Mu, who also looked back puzzled.

Listening to her words, for the first time, Helian Hao felt that her thoughts were not as mature as she had believed.
Qin Mu held her hand, emotionally yet rationally she said: "We will be lifelong friends. I didn’t contact you all those years because I was afraid of being reminded of the past. Now I fear nothing, so our friendship won’t change because of anyone or anything, at least not from my side. Will you?"
"Of course not, if I didn’t care about you, I wouldn’t have been asking Mu Yi for news about you all these years."
Qin Mu suddenly burst into joyful laughter, and Helian Hao, smiling foolishly, embraced her right in front of the counter.
Qin Mu suddenly felt that it had been a long time since she had smiled so sincerely.
As the two happily continued their shopping, Jing Qing and Qin Mingzhu came out of the opposite women’s clothing counter, watching their joyous backs with hands clenching their bag straps tightly.
"Come here a minute!"
Seeing Jing Qing’s expression, Qin Mingzhu then commanded a sales clerk behind her.
Jing Qing turned her head to see Qin Mingzhu pulling out a thousand yuan in cash from her purse: "This is for you, find an excuse to call that woman with the longer hair to the restroom."
The clerk was a bit frightened, but since the counter belonged to Qin Mingzhu’s mother, she reluctantly took the money and went to do the task.
"What are you going to do?"
"I just can’t stand her. You don’t know, recently my parents have been arguing because of her; I must teach her a lesson." Qin Mingzhu muttered while keeping an eye on the scene ahead.
Jing Qing remembered how not long ago Qin Mingzhu was afraid of being beaten up by Qin Mu and did not dare to make a move, but she was happy to go along with it, as she too wanted to show Qin Mu a lesson.
"Sister, if I help you deal with Qin Mu, will you help me get a role in a movie?"
Jing Qing finally understood her intention and took another look at her.
"Oh, I’ll take any small role. I won’t compete with you for jobs."
"You think you can compete with me for jobs? If you’re interested, I can talk to the director for you."
Jing Qing laughed and grabbed her hand while looking ahead.
Helian Hao casually browsed a brand counter as she waited for Qin Mu to return from the restroom. Qin Mu, upon reaching the restroom, felt something was off but before she could react, she was pushed inside.
The door to the restroom was then closed.
Moments later, she saw a middle-aged man exit the men’s restroom and her mind went blank.
A few minutes later, Helian Hao watched a few casually dressed men and women murmuring and running towards the restroom with their phones, and she sensed trouble.
Instinctively, she immediately called Mu Yichen: "You need to come to Lexiang Mall quickly, something seems to have happened to Mumu."
