Before long, the little girl from the inn finally finished her work and brought over two steaming plates of beef and a hot bowl of porridge.
The stray dog on the ground immediately sat upright, panting with its tongue out, drooling, its gaze fiery as it alternated between looking at the plates and Huang Yi.
"Eat up!" Huang Yi said, putting one of the plates of beef on the ground for the stray dog to enjoy.
The Little White Cat, however, did not eat meat, and lay on the table, extending its little tongue to lick the hot porridge.
By this time, the group of children had already scattered, and the inn was peaceful, with only the sounds of Huang Yi’s table eating.
It was the most peaceful breakfast Huang Yi had ever had, eating tender beef in the warm sunshine and fresh air, without having to participate in any complicated strife, without shedding any blood, and being able to eat as slowly as one could. He hadn’t experienced such a life in a very long time.
After the meal, Huang Yi booked the best room, settling down the Little White Cat and the stray dog. He had killed many Half-Beastmen in Wind Forest Stronghold and looted some money—not a lot, but in this small village, he was considered quite wealthy.
Huang Yi locked the room door, picked up the Little White Cat, placed her in the soft bed, then stroked her head and coaxed, "I’ll be gone for a while, you sleep here obediently, do not run around, okay?"
"Meow~" The Little White Cat stretched out her tiny paw and clung tightly to Huang Yi’s arm, nuzzled her little head into the palm of his hand for a moment, and then reluctantly let go, nodding her head obediently.
"Little dog, from now on your name is Little Wang! You stay here and protect my little sister, don’t let anyone in, got it?" Huang Yi then patted the stray dog’s head.
The stray dog promptly nodded, wagging its tail, pleased either about finally having a name or about the honor of protecting the Little White Cat.
Having settled everything, Huang Yi finally logged off, disappearing from the room.
Returning to the real world, Huang Yi was back in his dilapidated cell, ready for breakfast.
Eating in The Second World was only to taste the delicious food and prevent the characters’ attributes from decreasing, not to truly satisfy hunger, so Huang Yi still needed to eat in the real world.
Huang Yi walked over to the door, picked up a meal box from the ground, and started eating—food that had been sent over by the gang of criminal underlings. In Rose Prison, besides the Prison Overlord Lei Shen, only a few others like Huang Yi received such treatment.
After eating, Huang Yi stretched his limbs and did some light stretching exercises before continuing to access The Second World. He didn’t immediately enter The Second World but first went to check the forums.
Upon entering the forum, the first thing Huang Yi saw was a highly clicked popular post, titled "Murder for Loot! Brutality at its Extreme, Exposing Instakill’s True Face!" The poster was none other than "Chen Yuxi."
Huang Yi clicked on the post and inside was a video, which began with an introduction, essentially saying that Chen Yuxi and his group had obtained a Spirit Cat, but it was then taken by Huang Yi, who also pursued and killed them... all kinds of slander was being thrown at him.
Following that was a video that had been edited and cut together. The footage mostly depicted Huang Yi in a brutal and bloodthirsty manner, portraying him as a devilish figure.
Huang Yi glanced at the comments below the post and found that most players believed what the video claimed. They expressed sympathy for the plight of Chen Yuxi and the two others, while also vehemently condemning Huang Yi, even resorting to insults.
A small portion of players expressed skepticism. Opinions among the players were divided, and no one seemed to agree with anyone else. The topic instantly heated up, stirring much discussion.
Huang Yi wasn’t particularly interested in this and went back to the list of posts to check out some others. After browsing for a while, he came across a serialized post within his view— "Profiles of Notables in The Second World." This post had been marked as a featured thread and seemed to have gained wide recognition, earning a high number of clicks and comments.
Curious, Huang Yi looked at the person who made the post, and to his surprise, it was the Bard!
That was the Bard player he had encountered before! His interest immediately peaked, Huang Yi clicked in to have a look.
The post mainly compiled videos, rumors, major events, and various other sources of information to comment on various notables, and it appeared to be relatively fair and unbiased.
Huang Yi read through each profile, starting with the notables from the China Region.
At the top of the list was none other than Dao Feng.
Dao Feng—
True to his name, he is as sharp as a blade, unstoppable and peerless. Although spirited, he never bullies others with his power. His image is always filled with righteousness and positivity. Both Chinese players and foreign players have nothing but admiration for him, truly a Dragon Among Men, a super leader figure.
Immediately following in the post was the second-profiled individual, Dao Feng’s arch-enemy, Dragon Spike.
Dragon Spike—
The world’s number one assassin, like a bone spur that lies hidden in the depths, but this is no ordinary bone spur—it is the spine of a dragon, extremely powerful and patient. Thunder God—

For most people, being on an unknown and foreign continent comes with many inconveniences and is incredibly challenging. But Thunder God did not fade into obscurity. Instead, he grew stronger with each setback, and at level 45, he miraculously crossed the Sea of Death and returned to the China exclusive continent, becoming the first player to cross continents! His experiences denote a resilient and enduring character, and he must be extremely knowledgeable about the oceans, possessing a wealth of seafaring knowledge, otherwise, he could not have crossed the Sea of Death at level 45. It can be preliminarily surmised that this person must have a lot of sea outings in the real world.
Instakill—
A character who has recently risen to prominence. This person draws a clear line between friends and foes, relentlessly pursuing enemies until reincarnation and not sparing even those associated with them. Many believe this person to be impulsive and easily angered, but I see it quite the opposite. Before acting, it’s as if they already foresee all possible complications and have strategies in place. Even in situations that seem certain death, they remain calm, composed, defusing threats without panic, never undertaking actions without assurance. This person’s thought process is terrifying! In my view, I would rather provoke Dao Feng than Instakill.
