Aurin & her family members rushed to the hospital after getting emergency calls from Mikaeel's family. Specifically, Aurin almost went crazy when Ziya informed that Mikaeel had an accident and was admitted to the hospital.
" Bhabhi........" Ziya cried out spotting Aurin and ran towards her.
Ziya hugged her and Aurin questioned impatiently," How.....did...all these happen suddenly? How....is....Mikaeel now?"
" Bhai was very upset about the divorce thing. Last night he didn't return home and then we got an emergency call that he had an accident. When we reached the hospital, bhai was taken to the operation theatre already," Ziya informed and tears started flowing from Aurin's eyes automatically.
She took his name with an inaudible voice and sat on a nearby bench. She felt immense heartache and Mikaeel's face started flashing in front of her eyes. Yes, she was angry with him but never thought that something like this will happen. Various types of possibilities clouded her visions and she just controlled her outburst biting her lips very hard.
" My.....son.......He.......will....be....alright?" Farnaaz asked Jamshed whose face was already drained out.
Zeynap questioned Jalal with her trembling voice," I won't be able to see my daughter becoming a widow at such an early age."
Hearing the word 'Widow' Aurin went numb and couldn't control her outbursts anymore. She imagined Mikaeel in white clothes and couldn't cope with the heartache anymore. And that's it. She forgot what happened and how he behaved with her. The only thing which was in her mind was that she can't lose him no matter what. Because she loves him.
" Bhabhi, don't worry. Bhai will be alright," Miraz & Mahir, Aurin's brother-in-laws tried to console her but nothing could stop her tears.
Aurin said hiccupping," Won't....he......come.....back.....?"
" Shh.....Don't overthink. Everything will be fine," Miraz tried to console Aurin but nothing was working.
On the other hand, lying on the operating table Mikaeel was doing something on his phone and his doctor friend Asad was looking at him with astonishment.
" Your family members are flooding my whole hospital with tears and here you are. Busy with your phone!" Asad shouted in disbelief.
Mikaeel asked without glancing at Asad," When is my burger coming?"
Nodding his head in disbelief, Asad said to Mikaeel," You are a freak!"
" I know that. Thanks for reminding me," Mikaeel replied so casually like nothing happened.
Very soon, a nurse entered the operation theatre with Burgers, fries and cokes which was ordered by Mikaeel. Glaring at Mikaeel and Asad with incredulity she left the place hurriedly.
Asad was never ready to be a part of Mikaeel's ugly game but he gave up in front of his friendship. He has to agree with Mikaeel when the great egoistic freak Mikaeel Sheikh requested to help him because he wants to save his marriage. Mikaeel is confident that Aurin will never leave him after seeing him on death bed.
" Aurin is outside and crying her eyes out," Asad said.
Mikaeel answered munching on the burger," I wish I was outside to wipe her tears."
" Put that in your egoistic hole, Asshole!! now would you tell me the whole thing? What happened? Why Aurin is so eager for divorce?" Asad asked jerking away Mikaeel's hands since he was offering some fries to Asad.
Mikaeel was gulping down the coke when Asad mumbled rolling his eyes," Whatever happened I am sure everything was your fault. I pity Aurin. She deserves better."
" Are you my friend or enemy?" Mikaeel questioned suspiciously.
Kicking on Mikaeel's leg, Asad shouted with annoyance," I agreed to waste my 5 hours inside this operation theatre cancelling other patients' appointments just for you and you are questioning me this!!"
" What a corrupted doctor are you?" Mikaeel mocked and Asad rolled his eyes.
Then Mikaeel said to Asad becoming serious," Now stop trying to be a reporter by asking me too many questions. Start practising. You have to lie to my family members that I have to be on bed rest for almost one month."
" Better try to act naturally. Your acting sucks," Mikaeel taunted and Asad snickered with irritation.
Then Asad again questioned curiously," You are ready to lie on the bed for one month just for a woman!! This thing isn't going well with your character. What's wrong with you?"
" Have you ever seen your wife in another man's hold?" Mikaeel asked and Asad nodded his head in the negative.
Mikaeel said gritting his teeth," Then you won't understand."
" Aurin is having extramarital affairs!! Don't lie to me. She doesn't seem..........." Asad couldn't finish his sentence when a scalpel flew towards him.
Dodging it swiftly he looked at Mikaeel in disbelief when Mikaeel said furiously," No, she isn't. But there is no guarantee that she won't do that with her so-called brother Danyal!"
Mikaeel said the last part lowering his voice and needed another tube of burnol remembering Aurin in Danyal's arms. He doesn't know why he is overreacting.
" You have issues inside your head. What if that scalpel hit my eyes?" Asad asked putting the scalpel somewhere very far from Mikaeel.
Mikaeel replied with annoyance," It didn't, right? Then why are you wailing like women's? Now, come on. Start bandaging my arms and legs."

After some hours Asad came out of the operation theatre and everyone rushed towards him with teary eyes.
" How is my son, Asad?" Farnaaz questioned crying.
Asad replied assuring her," He is out of danger but he has to be on bed rest for at least one month. He has broken limbs and he needs proper care. I will prescribe the medicines once Mikaeel gain his consciousness."
" When he will wake up?" Aurin asked with her quivering lips.
Asad answered back," Maybe in hours."
No sooner had Asad left the place Jalal dragged Aurin to another corner. Aurin was startled by the sudden action and looked at her father with bewildered eyes.
" Even after all this if you continue this divorce tantrum then I will forget that I have a daughter. I will divorce your mother and throw her outside along with you. Do you understand?" Jalal threatened Aurin.
Aurin questioned back nodding her head," Mikaeel's accident is not my fault. Yes, I never wanted him to end up in the hospital bed but I ca............."
" Shut up! Didn't you hear Ziya? Mikaeel was worried about this divorce thing which led him to this accident and everything happened because of you," Jalal accused Aurin and she looked at his eyes in disbelief.
Holding her arm tightly he barked on her face," Once Mikaeel gains his senses back you will return to him without putting any further tantrums. He needs you in this situation. Do you understand?"
" Do you understand?" He questioned loudly seeing her silent.
Aurin didn't reply. Jerking his hands away she left the place hurriedly with teary eyes.
A few hours later everyone got permission to meet Mikaeel since he was shifted from the operation theatre to another room.
" My son," Farnaaz cried out and walked towards Mikaeel who was half lying on the bed.
Jamshed didn't show too much concern though he was very worried for his elder son.
" Where is your concentration while driving, huh? Moreover, why didn't you take the driver with you?" Jamshed asked Mikaeel very rudely and Mikaeel didn't bother to answer his father.
He talked with everyone but his whole concentration was on Aurin who was standing at one corner and looking at him with soft eyes. Miraz noticed the eye contact between his brother and sister in law so he decided to step in.
" I think bhai(brother) needs some rest. So, we should leave him alone," Miraz said and everyone agreed.
Everyone started leaving when Miraz whispered in Aurin's voice," Bhabhi, bury all the previous tensions and start afresh."
No sooner had everyone left than Mikaeel poked Aurin," Seems like your prayer was answered. So, didn't you bring the divorce paper with you?"
" Why do you always think so mean about me? Huh! Do you know how I felt when I came to know about your accident? Do you have any idea how much scared I was for you? You heartless log!!" Aurin shouted slapping one of his arms which wasn't injured.
Moving a little away Mikaeel wailed," Wifey, have some mercy on me. I am a patient."
" You were thinking about new ways to hurt me and that's how you got into this accident!!" Aurin poked back when Mikaeel pulled her towards him and made her sit right in front of him.
Making a sad face Mikaeel said," Wifey, let's not blame each other for whatever happened. Let's say that the situation wasn't in our favour which led us to fight. Can't we start afresh where both of us will try to be tolerable to each other?"
Hearing him Aurin remained silent looking down and her father's threatening words rang inside her head. Raising her head she looked into his eyes which were showing guiltiness in them. Immediately her eyes softened but she doesn't know what a great actor he is.
" And, about Danyal. How would you have reacted if you saw me with another woman? Wouldn't you be angry and bash on me?" Mikaeel questioned murdering Danyal mentally.
Aurin replied licking her dry lips," Obviously, I would have confronted you. But not before knowing the relationship between the woman and you. At least, I would have tried to know the whole truth properly before blaming you."
" Hmm. It's easy to say but when you actually face the situation it becomes difficult. I thought you understood why I behaved like that," Mikaeel said and Aurin looked at him widening her eyes.
And the next sentence from Mikaeel's mouth was enough for Aurin to melt and think about giving one last chance to this emotionless log. Tears started gathering at the corner of her eyes and her heart was already beating like a hammer inside her chest.
" I thought you realised a long ago that I have feelings for you. Don't you understand that I love you, wifey," He confessed and Aurin started shedding tears already.
Mikaeel pulled her close to him and placed a gentle kiss on her foreheadHis hand stroked her cheek softly while wiping away her tears.
" My outburst was another form of showing you my feelings. I never had the intention to insult you but I couldn't control my emotions seeing you with Danyal. You have to understand my perspective too, wifey," Mikaeel said slowly crouching down to her level.
Aurin closed her eyes when he started sucking her lips gently.
Tears stopped flowing from her eyes and automatically her hands pulled him into a tight hug. She participated in this kiss passionately unknown to the fact that he has succeeded in manipulating her.
" You love me?" Aurin asked with glossy eyes for assurance. She still can't believe that finally, he has confessed.
Mikaeel answered shortly," Yes."
Pronouncing those three words were difficult for him since the person sitting in front of him isn't Maryam. Since he doesn't want to let go of Aurin so he confessed though he is confused about his feelings for Aurin.
" This is the last chance I am giving you Mikaeel. Promise me that I don't have to regret this decision," Aurin whispered emotionally looking directly into his eyes.
Caressing her cheeks he replied smiling," Mikaeel Sheikh never breaks promises."
After sometime Mikaeel's friend Asad entered the room and found him lying on the bed. He also found Aurin who was sleeping peacefully placing her head over Mikaeel's uninjured arm.
" The Oscar authority just contacted me. They told me that your award for the best actor just boarded the plane. It will be reaching any time soon," Asad said sarcastically and Mikaeel hushed glaring at him.
Stroking Aurin's hair he said chuckling," My naive wifey. Always be like that."
" Do you really love her just like you used to love Maryam? I doubt that," Asad said suspiciously.
Mikaeel's face clouded with darkness and he answered sternly," No one can take Maryam's place. And about Aurin. She is my reality. That's it."
