The boat driver made his way to the yacht which was just a few meters away from us. I liked it that it wasn't too far from the mainland since it would be nice to have a look at the lights in all of the resort around the place. Echo was behind me and looking out for me just in case something happens. We reached the yacht and I was so amazed at how it looked like. It was huge; well, what would I expect from a show-off billionaire, right? I laughed at my own joke. Echo helped me in transferring from the boat to the yacht; it was a good thing that it has an accessible part which we used and helped us get into the yacht without any trouble. It was like we just jumped out of the boat and we were already at the yacht though it was just at the bottom part and we still have to climb up. I turned to Echo.
"You're on your own now," He said and smiled at me. "Have a good night; Miss. Mr. Harris is waiting for you."
I nodded and smiled back at him. "Thank you, Echo, have a good night too."
He nodded and made his way back to the boat. I waved at them and so did they until I could no longer see them. I walked to the stairs and started looking for Wade. I love how the cold wind hugged my skin and made me shiver in a nice way. I looked around and I could see the lights coming from the mainland right here; just the way I like it. I wonder where Wade is, I missed him already after not seeing him for a few hours. He didn't even drop by even just for a minute to see how the shoot was going on. He must really be that busy with the business and I must understand that if I ever wanted to be back with him.
I just continued walking when I heard music not far from me and then I saw a trail of roses and smiled to myself, roses again huh. I smiled at the thought of him scattering the flowers around for me to follow it. Yes, I followed it and it became more and more visible as I walked with it further. I really love the idea of red roses and trail of flowers as a guide that will lead you to the man you love. I often see that in movies and I never thought that I would get to experience that first hand. I must really be lucky tonight. I have also seen yacht dates a lot on movies and thought that it would just be nice during night time but I changed my mind now. It even looked more romantic at night with the electronic candles that I saw on the floor along with the roses that lighted the way in a romantic type. I shook my head. Who knew that the ruthless billionaire could pull up a stunt like this for me? I mean, he looked cold on the outside if others were to say but to me, he's soft and kind.
I reached the front part of the yacht and saw Wade standing there with a huge bouquet of roses on his hands and a big smile on his handsome face. I looked around and the set-up was just so adorable. It was filled with red roses and there was a table for two in the middle with a glass of wine and two heart-shaped petals of roses. There was also a music that is coming from the speaker behind him and it was an instrumental music which was probably what I heard earlier. Oh dear God! This is way too much. I was only looking forward for a dinner date with him but he gave me more. He exceeded my expectation. As if those weren't enough, there was a fireworks display behind him and I covered my mouth in surprise. It was too much for me to take. Did he do all of this for me? I was speechless.
I saw him walked towards me as I was still looking up in the sky for the fireworks display. He stood beside me and we watched the fireworks together. It was one of the most romantic dates that I have ever seen nor imagined and I was glad that it was because of the man I love. I couldn't ask for more this time. I am ready to listen to what he has to say and I am willing to give him chance that I know he deserves so much.
"Did you like it?" He said when it was over. I nodded. How could I not love it? I always love watching fireworks and he probably knew that by now. I mean, I might have told him that when we were still together.
"Yes, of course, I liked it," I said. "Who wouldn't? This is too much."
"This..." He said as he handed me the flowers. "Is for you, babe."
Babe, I missed him calling me that. I felt like that's a word that only he can call me and that one word coming from him makes me feel so special in every way.
"They're beautiful," I said and smelled them just like what I did with the rose from the room earlier. It might be a little too cliché but I love doing that. I love the smell of fresh flowers. "Thank you,"
"You look so beautiful tonight," He said as he faced me. "Which makes me thinks that you did all that just for me,"
"You're crazy," I said and laughed at what he said.
"Crazy for you, babe," He said and winked. I laughed.
There he goes again with his jokes that definitely melt my heart every time.
"Come on; let's have our dinner date now."
I nodded and smiled at him. He really did put too much effort into this one and I couldn't be any more proud of him. I felt like he's my man and that he would do things such as this only for me. I felt like I was floating in the clouds once again right now as i looked at the man in front of me.
