I groaned when I heard the alarm clock. I think it's still too early. I hugged my pillow tighter and tried to sleep some more. Why did my pillow felt so hard now? I touched it and pressed it. It's really hard. I opened my eyes and I couldn't believe what I saw. It wasn't my pillow that's hard. It's Wade's arm. Yes, he's sleeping beside me. Why is he here?
Did something happen? I tried remembering last night's events and then it came to me. I told him not to leave me. Oh my God! Did we do it? I panicked and screamed at the top of my lungs.
I saw Wade got up abruptly and turned to me. He looked so disoriented.
"What's wrong?" He said panicking.
I slapped his arm again and again. I hit him with my pillow and blanket.
"Hey, will you stop it? What's gotten into you?" He said.
"What are you doing here? Why are you here?" I said.
"Chill, okay?"
"Chill? How can I do that when I just woke up with a man in my bed? You're unbelievable!" I said while glaring at him.
"Did you have to scream? I think you just awaken the neighborhood. You could've just woke me up, you know." He said while laughing.
"I was shocked, okay? Stop making fun out of this. It's not funny at all!" I said.
"Alright, you're just funny, that's all. Jesus!"
"Funny? I'm glad I am." I said sarcastically.
"Anyway, how do you feel?" He said.
"Don't change the topic here. What are you doing in my room?" I said. "Did you sleep here?"
"Yes." He said without hesitation.
"You pervert! Why did you do that? Why did you sleep here?"
"Me? Pervert? You were the one who begged me not to go, remember? I was just doing what you said. Besides, someone has to take care of you last night; credits to you for being so drunk." He said.
"You should have let one of the maids take care of me. You liked it, didn't you? Did you touch me anywhere while I was asleep?" I said accusing him.
"Woah, stop right there! I didn't touch you, okay? You are funny!" He said.
I looked at myself from under the blanket. I was dressed in my pajamas. Did he change my clothes?
"Who changed my clothes? Did you do it? Please tell me you didn't because otherwise, I will kill you." I said.
"No, of course not! It was one of the maids, okay?" He said.
I sighed and felt relieved upon hearing what he said.
"What are you still doing here? Can you get out now? Jesus!" I said and rolled my eyes.
"Can't I sleep for a little bit more? You made me tired last night." He said that made my eyes grew bigger.
"Will you shut up? Someone might hear you and they might get the wrong interpretation of what you are saying." I said.
"That wasn't what you said last night. You were even forcing me to kiss you." He said.
"Shut up! I was drunk, okay? So, that wasn't me; it was the alcohol in my system." I said.
"Alcohols don't talk my wife." He said and winked at me.
"Are you getting out of my room or not? I am getting impatient with you." I said as a matter of fact.
"Alright, I am leaving now; you don't have to be so grumpy. It's not like you didn't enjoy hugging me while you were sleeping." He said.
"What?! I did not hug you, okay? I did not! You' are just making that up. I wouldn't do that!" I said in my defense. "You are just making fun of me."
"Whatever you say," He said as he got up. He was only wearing a white shirt and his boxers on. I couldn't help but stare at his body.
"Like what you see?" He said.
I snapped out of my thoughts and turned away from him.
"I've seen better," I said. "Can you go now?"
"Oh really?" He said mocking me.
"Really, so can you leave now?" I said.
"Alright, I'll see you later for breakfast so when you're done here just go to the kitchen." He said.
I nodded and he went to the door. He left and I breathe in relief. I went to the bathroom and decided to take a shower. I feel weak from last night and I hope that shower would make me feel better.
I closed my eyes and smelled the very addicting scent from my bubble bath. I felt so relaxed in my bathtub that I didn't wanna get out of there. The memories from last night kept coming back to me and I am dying of embarrassment every second. I did ask him to kiss me last night. I even had the guts to touch his face; something that the normal I would never do.
I get up from the tub and took my robe. I put the towel on my hair and went out of the bathroom. I slipped on my most comfortable clothes and went to the kitchen. I saw Wade was already there having his usual black coffee. I took some fresh milk out of the fridge and sat across him.
"How are you feeling?" He said.
"Better," I said.
"What do you want for breakfast? I'll have our maids prepare it for you." He said.
"I'll have whatever they're cooking. I don't really have the appetite to eat a lot today." I said and drink my milk.
"Alright, if that's what you want." He said.
We waited for the breakfast to be served and when they did, we eat in silence together. It's Sunday today so Wade isn't going to work but he sometimes gets out and do meetings even on weekends.
"I'll go for a swim, wanna join me?" He said when we were done eating.
"No, I think I'll pass, I just got a shower." I said.
He nodded and then left the dining. He said he'll just change into his swimming clothes and then go to the pool. Meanwhile, I stayed in the dining and continued drinking my milk until my glass was empty.
After a few minutes in the dining, I decided to go back to my room. I was on my way there when I saw Wade coming out of his room. He was only wearing his swimming trunks and a piece of towel hanging on his shoulder. God! Look at that abs and that V-line! It's the first time that I've seen him in that and he did not disappoint me.
"Close your mouth, dear wife, the flies might get in." He said and closed my mouth. I didn't even know that my mouth was open or was he just making fun of me again? I also did not notice that he was already near me. I snapped out of my thoughts and watched his back as he made his way to the pool.
