“Is…is he still okay?” Yun Xiangxiang heard something crash a few times. She felt Qi Jun must have been badly hurt.
“Still alive,” Song Mian replied indifferently. Immediately, he asked, “Is my girlfriend missing me after a day of being separated?”
Yun Xiangxiang rolled her eyes, “I need to talk to you about something. I bumped into Lucifer today…”
Her intuition has always been true to her. Lucifer radiated a dangerous vibe. Yun Xiangxiang must set up defenses against him.
Song Mian listened to Yun Xiangxiang’s story. He replied, “I guarantee you that he wouldn’t dare to do anything to you.”
“En,” Yun Xiangxiang only wanted Song Mian to know about this. She did not want to discuss strangers any further, “When will you be back?”
“Not sure,” Song Mian did not know how much longer the delay would be either.
“I’ll be going back after the fashion week tomorrow,” Yun Xiangxiang briefly spoke of her itinerary. “Be careful out there, you.”
They were deep in a jungle among the mountains. Qi Jun might be an expert in surviving the wild, but Yun Xiangxiang was still worried for Song Mian.
“Don’t worry. For you, I will keep myself safe,” Song Mian replied tenderly.
This guy doesn’t let go of any opportunity to flirt. Yun Xiangxiang could not stand it, “Go back to your work. I have to go now.”

He Wei had come back too. He sent her the gown and jewelry that she needed to wear tomorrow.

Yun Xiangxiang opened the box that contained her gown. Holding it up, she looked at He Wei, “Brother Wei, did you tell Song Mian about my itinerary?”
“I did not. He would have somebody send numerous gowns at random times,” He Wei explained. “I knew you were going to be at a fashion show before I came, so I just simply took one of them with me.”
He didn’t know what kind of gown he took either.
The gowns Song Mian sent were either kept in a box or kept under wraps by a cover.
The gown Yun Xiangxiang had in her hands had a light gauze texture. As it did not need to face the worries of wrinkles, it was kept in a box.
“It’s gorgeous,” He Wei had to praise the gown Song Mian sent. It was classy and beautiful. On top of that, it matched Yun Xiangxiang’s age.
It was a frilled halter neck dress that was connected using pink and teal colored gauze. The top was in pink, while the dress was an aquamarine high waist. The teal dress flowed naturally. Its top had double-layered flare sleeves, which were connected to the top. The layer of pink stretched to the wrist, while the layer of teal stretched to the palms.
It was flowingly elegant, possessing a fairylike air of China’s wide-sleeved deities. A lotus made of pink and teal gauze sat on the waist of the dress.
Lithe and elegant. Flowing in the wind. The dress was just as pastel-like and charming as Yun Xiangxiang. From the hem of the dress, the thin rope that adorned the tassel unfurled down to the ankle.
Yun Xiangxiang quickly became the center of attention when she appeared upon the red carpet with Lu Jin and He Wei.
Lu Jinn was already the most beloved Chinese movie star in Italy. Yun Xiangxiang’s nickname as the Eastern Angel was also slightly famous in Europe.
However, the trio only came as spectators. There were other Chinese movie stars who had come too. They greeted each other when they entered the venue.

She was tall and slender. With her deep-set blue eyes, a tall nose and fair skin, her movements carried with it an ineffable elegance. A certain purity and grace radiated from her.
“I’ll be back soon,” Lu Jin told Yun Xiangxiang and He Wei before walking toward Kaya.
“This best actress, Kaya. She seems to have a thing for Brother Jin,” a woman’s sixth sense was usually correct.
Yun Xiangxiang was astonished to find out that Lu Jin’s charisma could make even an Italian A-lister fall for him.
“It’s not going to work between them,” He Wei sat in their spots. He chatted with Yun Xiangxiang when he noticed no one else was around them.
Yun Xiangxiang was puzzled. Lu Jin might not seem to feel anything toward Kaya now, but it’s usually easy for a woman to pursue a man.

“Who managed to make Brother Jun fall for her?!” Yun Xiangxiang could not stop herself from gossiping.
Lu Jin was the standard of good and innocent men within the entertainment industry. He was embroiled in no scandal since his debut as a child star. There was no news of his relationship so far either. Some unscrupulous press spread rumors about him being gay because of this.

Yun Xiangxiang felt chilly in her limbs. The answer to her question earlier was already obvious. Even so, Yun Xiangxiang still asked, “Brother Wei, are you saying that Brother Jin’s first love is… is senior Hua Xiangrong?”
He Wei nodded solemnly, “I am telling you this so that you will keep some distance between you and him from now on.”
