Amidst their conversation, Isaac Wen, who almost burst out laughing, quickly regained his composure after noticing Javier Zhong's piercing gaze through the rear-view mirror.
To be fair, nobody could blame Isaac Wen for having such a huge reaction!
I mean, throughout his many years of working closely with Javier Zhong, no one has ever dared to speak to his boss in such a manner before!

Soon, the car reached the hotel's grand entrance and the staff swiftly came forward to open the door.
"Director Ruan, we have reached your hotel." Isaac Wen reported to her politely.

And just before Stephanie Ruan was about to put on her sunglasses and take a step out of the car, she turned to Javier Zhong.
"Oh Chairman Zhong, it's an honour to have you accompany me to run some errands today. But since you seem to be quite bored, maybe I can sign you up to do some charity work the next time?"

With a sarcastic smile, she turned and left the car without waiting for his response.

She gave him a light chuckle and immediately turned around to lock her main door, as though it is none of her business that the two of them have arrived at her house.
Surely, it must have been easy for the most powerful man in the country to gain access to anyone's address and private information, including hers.

An older male butler stepped forward and reported in a polite tone, "Young Master, welcome back. Everyone is already inside."
The butler then looked at Stephanie Ruan and bowed lightly, "I'm Butler Quan, the manager of the house. You can look for me if you are unhappy with any of the workers."
Stephanie Ruan nodded with a smile, "Nice to meet you! You can call me Stephanie."
"Young Master and Ms. Stephanie, please." He put out his right hand and personally ushered them into the house.
Just before they take a step into the house, Stephanie Ruan took the initiative to cling onto Javier Zhong's arm.
This action of hers caught him off guard and he immediately threw a cold look at her.
"Keep your hands to yourself!" He ordered with a stern tone.
However, Stephanie Ruan placed a hand beside her face and whispered to him in a seemingly loving manner. "You picked the perfect person to act with you."
With that, she gave him a flirty wink, which has left him completely speechless!
